1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Team Black Miner (Ethereum, Ethereum classic, Vertcoin, Zilliqa+dual 0.5% fee) on: November 20, 2021, 06:01:40 PM
Seems that it continues to underreport poolside on flexpool. Any tips?

They're running at 3060ti/3070 running kernel 8, xintensity 144

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Team Black Miner (Ethereum, Ethereum classic, Vertcoin, Zilliqa+dual 0.5% fee) on: November 17, 2021, 10:26:16 PM
We have fixed a duplicate share bug in multicard rigs on the hiveon pool and possible other ethereum 1.0 stratum pools. The ~2% rejected shares are now ~0% in version 1.26 and this will improve the poolside speed..

Happy to hear, I had pool side speed issues on hiveon but good results on miningpoolhub. Flexpool seemed to have a lower reported rate like hiveon, so looking forward to testing v1.26.

I've been using your miners since you used to do specialized paid miners, I think I purchased a skunkhash miner from you so I know you do good work.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Team Black Miner (Ethereum, Ethereum classic, Vertcoin, Zilliqa+dual 0.5% fee) on: November 07, 2021, 03:03:00 PM
I seem to consistently get a lower avg hashrate when running it on HiveON as opposed to TeamRedMiner even though the miner reports higher hashrates. Stales seem to be under control. This has been running for 7 days so it should have averaged out any hashrate fluctations, on TBM 1.22 kernel 8 default xintensity.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.19.9 NVIDIA GPU miner (Ethash, Octopus, Kawpow, MTP) on: January 19, 2021, 03:07:06 PM
T-Rex 0.19.9

* Add ability to execute custom scripts upon certain events with new parameters:
"--script-start"
"--script-epoch-change"
"--script-crash"
"--script-low-hash"
* ("ethash", "kawpow", "octopus") Add "--dag-build-mode" parameter to fine tune DAG build mode (mostly to help with various stability issues, see readme for details)
* Allow non-existent GPU indices passed in to "--devices" / "-d" parameter: the miner will display a warning message but will continue mining using the GPUs it could find)
* Cosmetic changes: improve error descriptions, display block number when mining solo at some pools (2miners)

Bug fixes:
* ("ethash", "kawpow", "octopus") Stability regression for Pascal GPUs
* Mining pool difficulty is not always updated in the summary report (https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/issues/131)

**NOTE**: if you experience stability issues when mining "ethash" right at the start or upon epoch change, e.g. some GPUs fail start with "GPU is idle" or "NVML: can't get GPU#" errors, try running with "--gpu-init-mode 1", it will force sequential GPU initialisation and reduce the load on your hardware (set to 2, 3, etc to indicate how many cards may be generating DAG in parallel)

Maybe a noob question but how do you add "--gpu-init-mode 1" into a config.json? doing this on Hive OS and they seem to use a config file instead. Would it be "gpu-init-mode" : "1" ?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.19.7 NVIDIA GPU miner (Ethash, Octopus, Kawpow, MTP) on: January 11, 2021, 11:23:38 PM
T-Rex 0.19.7

* ("ethash", "octopus", "kawpow") Improve stability for 30xx series GPUs
* ("ethash") Verify overclock stability after DAG rebuild ("Instability detected" message is printed in case there are issues)
* Add "--gpu-report-interval-s" parameter to control hashrate summary report frequency based on the number of share submissions
* (API) Add new "pause" command for "control" handler to pause and resume mining
* (Watchdog) Display a list of GPUs caused miner restart with "GPU is idle" error

Bug fixes:
* ("x21s") "incorrect size of extranonce2" error
* (UI) Incorrect GPU index in share submission report when "--pci-indexing" mode is enabled
* (API) Miner fails to switch algorithms on the fly for some ""<algo_from>" -> "<algo_to>"" combinations

Completely unreliable for a 7 card 30series rig with medium memory overclocks 3060Ti +800MHz, 3070 +700MHz and +800MHz, 3090 +350MHz... It cannot create the DAG reliably it will hang and crash miner. However if memory overclocks are reduced by 200MHz on each card it will create DAG why is this? It works perfectly with version 0.19.5 and 0.19.4 (these I have tested with these settings).

This is absolutely not a stable build for me... It just hangs unless used with an extremely low memory overclock.

I have the same issue oddly enough with a 9 GPU rig, my 8 and 7 GPU 3060ti rigs work with no issues.
I also freeze on DAG generation at the start of mining causing the rig to reboot.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any news about nvidia 3060ti hash rates? on: December 09, 2020, 09:18:14 PM
I came across a weird issue where I cant run a 3060ti or 3070 GPU in a windows rig. It will detect in device manager and install but both wont be recognized by the miner and Ive tried several. Worksp erfectly fine when combined with other cards though
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TeamRedMiner 0.4.3 - Cryptonight Thread - High hashrate, Low Power on: March 28, 2019, 12:16:13 PM
Is someone able to share their PPT file or paste the contents where they are able to run sub 875mv? I have always had difficulties running below 875mv on my reference Vega 56/64. This is with having memory below 1100 and core as low as 1250...

Has anyone had success with Bminer 15 on linux?

I've recently moved over to linux to reduce issues with the RAM allocation on 1080tis but im unfamiliar with Hive OS at this point to update to bminer 15
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [1080 | 1080TI] ETHlargement - The Hashrate Hardener on: July 24, 2018, 05:17:26 PM
Can you post a full command line for ethminer??
I don't have any custom config in the commandline except --cuda-block-size 128 (which again is default iirc)

In section 5 of nvidia profile inspector
cuda force p2 state : off
power management mode : prefer max performance.

tried at +1000 mem does ~42.5 on phoenix and ~41.7 on ethminer
https://imgur.com/a/omD0M8z

The speeds make sense at these clocks.
I'm just wondering how you're able to even run these clocks so high in the first place. Is your rig in a freezer? Cheesy

Voltage is lower than even allowable with fixed voltage curves in MSI. They key is the mem clock with core clock being below regular algos. Mem also uses much less voltage to remain stable at these levels too.

I've found power usage to be between lyra2z use and reg algo use like x17 or x16r when using these settings as a baseline.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, now with GPU! on: June 27, 2018, 05:25:37 PM
I get an error when running with GPU'

Compilation of Open CL Kernels failed CL_BUILD_PROGRAM_FAILURE

It works on another system with no issues though. Any ideas?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AwesomeMiner Coin Updater *Version 0.8* (Plugin) on: May 19, 2018, 05:06:26 PM
I've changed my AwesomeMiner Web Portal to use port 8080 so it can be accessed while on work computers however I understand the API was built with port 17990 so now the updater can no longer communicate with API.

Where is the port config referenced to in the Coin Updater? Thanks!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [CPU] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, brand new, super fast! on: May 03, 2018, 03:29:04 AM
Even in assembly, we have very few control of the cache level. Just a few instructions: the movntdqa and some prefetchnt (nt == non temporal == no cache). JCE mostly let the CPU handle everything, except in "use_cache":false mode.

Progressing on assembly for multi-hash on AES-64 (the easiest to write).
I reach 79 h/s on Hexa-hash on CV-v7, which is very bad, but when using IPBC where the JCE multihash does marvels, i get some interresting results. More tests and optims to do.

Surprisingly, i didn't run out of registers in x64 with 6 hashes at the same time. But on 32 bits it will be terrible. I'll provide hexa-hash 32-bits for code symetry, but probably useless.

edit : i reach 1700 h/s on on IPBC my stock ryzen 1600 with JCE 0.26 and its multihash, with config multi
3+1+1+1+1+1+3+1+1+1+1+1
so 12 threads, two triple and ten simple. Curiously the double are less good...
That's the fastest combination I found. On CN-v7 still cannot beat the default 8x simple

Any reccomendations for IPBC settings on a ryzen 1700? I cant seem to top 1800hsh

Trying 12 threads two double ten simple.
Also tried 14 threads two double 12 simple

Anyone had success testing this one mixed rigs? I've had crashes when using it on a 1070ti/1080 mixed rig. Works excellently on 1080ti and 1080 only rigs though.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Gateless Gate Sharp 1.3.2: Now with memory timing mods and CryptoNight-Heavy! on: April 07, 2018, 06:47:34 PM
If the miner crashes during optimization is there anyway to stop it on the next launch? After rebooting and re-opening moves down the list and crashes once again.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: January 26, 2018, 04:39:31 PM
The Onda boards seem fairly cost efficient. Only issue is cooling but if it's in a server rack style with fans it's a non-issue

Has anyone had any luck with the various server PSUs on ebay?

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/2400W-10GPU-Mining-Power-Supply-For-Eth-Rig-Ethereum-BTC-Miner-Dedicated-90-PLUS/352236174282?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D986116ef2daf49a8935ce44d07305446%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D15%26mehot%3Dag%26sd%3D263420036873&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%253Ad3593131-f315-11e7-b1b1-74dbd1802c4f%257Cparentrq%253Acce55ef91600ab66f206ed05ffec64f5%257Ciid%253A1

It looks like its just housing two HP Server PSUs, my only issue would be with the reliability of the wires as opposed to a breakout board option.

With Parallel miner having no stock I was hoping someone else had some ideas on server PSUs, in Canada a lot of the ATX PSU deals are pricey after shipping
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: December 30, 2017, 05:15:52 PM
Same profit switching issue as well. I noticed under the View Details tab the profitable coin that it's not mining has disappeared yet under the same Profit Profile/Online Services the algo/coin that is most profitable still appears.

Re-adding and restarting seems to fix it temporarily but after a few minutes it disappears and switches to a less profitable option.

Hopefully this helps in debugging the issue.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: December 21, 2017, 05:04:50 PM
Is it possible to have two instances of Awesome Miner "Manager" running at the same time? I'm often travelling between cities and will be using two different desktops.

My thought is that if I implement a change like adding a pool or switching from managed to profit switching the other client may cause conflict.

I have a .bat file that specifies core and memory overclocks dependent on each algo template. Currently I am remoting and running these .bats before switching templates.

I noticed there's a section to run the same commands but what directory should I specify to run the .bat from?

Is there a folder I should place the .bat in or do I specify the commands in that box?

It's info like this:

SET GPU0=-setBaseClockOffset:0,0,125 -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,450 -setPowerTarget:0,77 -setTempTarget:0,0,75 -forcepstate:0,0
SET GPU1=-setBaseClockOffset:1,0,125 -setMemoryClockOffset:1,0,450 -setPowerTarget:1,77 -setTempTarget:1,0,75 -forcepstate:1,0
SET GPU2=-setBaseClockOffset:2,0,125 -setMemoryClockOffset:2,0,450 -setPowerTarget:2,77 -setTempTarget:2,0,75 -forcepstate:2,0
SET GPU3=-setBaseClockOffset:3,0,125 -setMemoryClockOffset:3,0,450 -setPowerTarget:3,77 -setTempTarget:3,0,75 -forcepstate:3,0
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: October 16, 2017, 01:53:16 AM
I have a card that ran fine for 3 days with softplaymod 0.9V 1400/1100 but now whenever its on load whether it be mining or a benchmark like furmark it instantly crashes. the GPU tach lights turn off and the fan suddenly seems to run at full speed.

A restart doesnt even fix it. I have to fully shutdown the rig.

Any ideas what could be the cause? I've tried moving slots, risers, PSU, DDU driver uninstall and reinstall, no softplaymod at stock settings and it still happens...
