Thanks, great info, never tried to unlock any of them.. just kept them as cool as possible, and ran them stock.

thats the benefit from a decentralized Pool like p2poll :-) nobody can hit it.
<snip>
That's not accurate, it's just more difficult and would cost more time and resources to really DoS the whole P2Pool network. There are many more servers to DoS (DoS and DDoS tools don't know how to iterate through all P2Pool servers this would have to be done separately and distributing the attack on all nodes would have to be done manually). Many servers have weaker Internet connectivity and would be easy to DoS but them being DoSed wouldn't disrupt the rest of the network.
In case of an attack trying to disrupt P2Pool, it would probably be only effective in disrupting a handful of nodes and people with backups would probably not even notice it.
well said.. I'm hoping more and more people put up p2pool nodes, which helps with the survivability. Is there any sort of "front end" that you can connect to by name, that finds the fastest/closest p2pool server to you?

Yes, I was mining with these cards.
They were in 4U rack mount cases, with 250CFM fans, in a 18'C datacenter, with an 74'C target temp, and an 80'C Overheat set in cgminer.
I had them clocked between 880MHZ - 910MHZ, and they were averaging about 350Mhash per card.

KNC made it very clear that you could get a refund right up to the time the units went to production.
As you saw from their website, they are in production, you will likely have it in hand in a matter of weeks.
That was my reaction as well.

Has anyone tried to mod the SC single to make the fans quieter?
120MMx25MM replacement options are available.. lots to choose from. personally I went higher cfm/pressure, since they're not sitting next to my desk.

since I can only speak for myself personally:
- withdrawal requested as international wire to US on 6/11/2013 - multiple requests for status, all with lame responses. - MtGox CS actually suggested canceling request - canceled 9/13/2013 - USD returned to MtGox account. - immediately bought BTC and withdrew it
In my opinion, MtGox has turned into an accidental Ponzi scheme, and they no longer have cash to fund withdrawals. Get out while you can.

http://middlecoin.com/If you paid attention, you'd know it pays out in BTC, and is the only auto-switching auto-exchanging pool. It's also fairly big and getting bigger. Smart, and about time.
