Of course I've checked my PMs, and I'm sure I could indeed figure out who your supposed miners are on my pool if I chose.  Speaking of information, you'll certainly know that my pool has typically averaged about 25TH/s except for the few miners, including myself, who decide to throw some rental hash at the pool in hopes of hitting a block.  The pool is a tiny blip on the mining radar.  I have no idea why you are even bothering to attack it and thinking that you're going to get me to pay you coins.

It truly boggles my mind that you're this determined to attack this pool at its nascent stage.  As I've written, the pool's liquid assets are minimal - even if I were so inclined as to pay you, the pool's assets just don't support the ransom you're demanding from me.

Lol... So now it's 4 people on my pool.  Congrats!  You just screwed them out of mining income!  Maybe if your supposed miners had actually kept on mining and solved a block you would have made the coin you're trying to extort.
1043  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 15, 2016, 03:46:53 AM
The bounty has been raised to 2 BTC!

CloudFlare will not help as the IP has already been saved and can be defined by the stratum URL (no masking is allowed)

Vultr Holdings will soon remove the account and server due to continued attacks.
Please note... This is not my account.  It is yet another newbie created to demand I pay a ransom.

Hey asshat - the pool has a total liquidity of about 0.05BTC from the fees and donations I've received... I truly don't understand your motivation here.  I mean if I had like 15PH and was making some coin then I get why you'd be interested in extorting me.  But seriously?  We've solved 2 whole blocks.

Edit: I'm also kind of upset with myself for not registering that username here...

As you've probably all noticed, the pool is down again due to DDoS attacks.  I just landed and am still at the airport replying on my phone.  I will work on it when I get home, but please understand the pool may not be back up until tomorrow.  I will keep everyone advised.
1045  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 14, 2016, 11:46:27 PM
Down again... But not from attack.  Server issue that my provider is working to resolve.  I'm getting on a plane now but will update when I land.

Looks like they got it fixed.... I'll check back in later.
1046  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 14, 2016, 11:00:13 PM
Just finished getting things worked out.  Pool is back up.  Thanks for your patience everyone.
1047  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 14, 2016, 07:03:14 PM
So again there was a DDoS attack on the servers.  I'm working with my provider once again to see how we can proceed.  As soon as I have more information I will update everyone.

Unfortunately I am traveling today so the updates might be a bit sporadic.  I apologize for that.
1048  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 14, 2016, 04:34:11 PM
No... although I'm working with my provider to see if we're under attack again.  For now, I'm still connected... I'll keep you updated.
1049  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com- Mining Pool for all. on: January 14, 2016, 12:31:46 AM
Good luck with your pool!  As I said in your other thread I like the UI work you've done.  You'll need to fix your links on the stats page...
1050  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 13, 2016, 06:50:40 PM
Everyone,  We're back up and running.  Again, I'd like to apologize for the inconvenience the DDoS attacks on my pool have caused.

Anyone know what this transaction is all about  Huh

08691d30f3a15697576f34e0702c0d721f92ff83770511f64edd36c6cc692dcd

Did I miss something somewhere?

Could it be dust payments?

They were all 0.0001
To consistent, maybe Kano is testing out his new payment processing code.

Looks like a transaction fee accidentally sent to payout addresses.
It's a spam transaction advertising some BTC multiplier thing.  I've gotten these before.  Nothing to see here, move along Tongue
1052  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 13, 2016, 03:40:27 PM
OK... an update.  I've been working with my provider and things should be back up and running by 1:45pm EST.  I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused people.  Once the servers are back up I'll let everyone know.
1053  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 13, 2016, 02:35:39 PM
Oh fun... Under attack again.  I'll let you know when things are back.

Is the attack not large enough for the data center to care Jonny?
Oh... they care... I'm working with them now.

Oh fun... Under attack again.  I'll let you know when things are back.
1055  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 12, 2016, 08:03:23 PM
All we want is 0.5 BTC

If it does not show in the blockchain by 12PM PST the bounty is raised to 2 BTC.

We will not stop, we will just let it run til we see you are online again and hit it again.
You want half a bitcoin?  Get a job and earn it.  Or better yet, buy a miner and point it to my pool and help support the ecosystem you're so willing to attack.
1056  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 12, 2016, 07:11:55 PM
Yeah... it's not over yet.  I just got another fun little PM:

As itsnogood wrote... I'm busy in the engine room...
1057  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 12, 2016, 06:24:41 PM
LOL... things seem to have returned to normal... I've brought the servers back up and your miners should be connected (or connecting) again.
1058  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 12, 2016, 06:14:37 PM
Well... it appears that the pool is under a DDoS attack after all.  Miners have likely failed over.  I have shut down the servers and hopefully whoever is attacking will get bored and move on.

I will update here once the attack has ended.
1059  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 12, 2016, 03:54:25 PM
Thanks for the reply.

I was just a little confused as it also says that my round shares and my PPLNS shares are massively different. I noticed that I got a lower payout than others with less round shares than mine. That was all.

Please don't take this the wrong way as I'm not complaining but just wanted to understand how its worked out.

I'm not taking it the wrong way... so don't worry Smiley.  I'll dig into the database for you to see if I can give you some more details.
1060  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) on: January 12, 2016, 03:22:01 PM
At this point, it hasn't.  The pool is setup to be PPLNS where N is 5 times difficulty.  Since the pool has only found 2 blocks and it is below the 5N threshold, the numbers being reported don't make a whole lot of sense.  I'm sorry for the confusion here - it's the way the MPOS front end works and reports data.  If the pool had 20PH/s where we were finding multiple blocks a day, then things would be good and those numbers would make far more sense than they do now.  I might even just turn off those pages on the site until we've found enough blocks for the numbers to make sense Wink.
