1201  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best Bitcoin Miner for ~300? on: July 29, 2014, 10:21:58 PM
if you find the right seller you can possibly get 2 Antminer S1's for that price and run them both off of that Corsair CX750M.
1202  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 29, 2014, 01:59:19 PM
Woke up to B4 shipping details, I had ordered within a few minutes of it opening.
Mine also shipped, ordered within minutes of opening.
1203  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 - Specs: 6TH/s + 0.46W/GH on: July 28, 2014, 11:47:59 PM
the fact that bitmadrid still has this listed as open, has not updated the specs to unknown, or updated the first post to reflect what is happening with SP-Tech's chips right now goes to show you that he is incapable of running a successful group buy.

when something is going to cost people this significant amount of money or bitcoin you should at least try and be as sales professional as you can be.

1205  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] AlcheMiner Scrypt ASIC on: July 28, 2014, 02:45:50 AM
im eager to see what august holds for alcheminer.. for a short while you held a higher share price than asicminer.

i noticed that one of your bullets says this
"This pre-order payment made up for the lack of funds that would have been raised by the IPO and used for the payment to the foundry"

was this a large pre order of machines to get funded, or was it a straight bitcoin investment towards the company( as in .14 btc per share )? i see that outstanding shares on havelock are at 83755 while the IPO only sold 22155 shares.
1206  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Cointerra For Sale on: July 28, 2014, 02:30:42 AM
if you google her name it comes up with a fake twitter account that just retweets random ass things, and a tineye of the pic brings up 13 results for a generic female picture. id still trade with caution.
1207  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED] Spondoolies-Tech SP30 pre-order - Specs: 0.69$/GH + 0.46W/GH on: July 27, 2014, 05:39:10 PM
so far the only news released was that they will still ship on time, but at different specs than previously thought.. Late July, August, and September batches are going to have the "problem" chip and there will be compensation (unknown while firmware and chips are being tested). Future October batches will be normal specs when they open.

Currently no more information on specs or shipping times, SP-Tech still performing needed testing on these chips to maximize their potential, answers in a few days.

Free Shipping tends to mean something different to everyone else in the world, you should label it as " Available for Pickup"

What you are doing is confusing people into selecting this option and then asking them to "retract order" like user apollojmr earlier in this thread
1209  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 25, 2014, 04:45:59 AM
I have 9 Rigs in my possession, so they have shipped some....

You have 9 SP30s or 9 SP10s?

If you have received the SP30 what is the hash rate and power consumption, there are literally hundreds here waiting to hear...

theyre talking about Bitmine units on the spreadsheet, off topic yes, but easily enough to see they arent talking about SP30s
1210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 24, 2014, 08:46:39 PM
Is this normal???

same on both S3. Both with default frequency: 218.75

why so many discarded??

someone suggested that its possibly backwards, the accepted are actually the discarded, and vice versa. probably fixed in a new firmware upgrade soon
1211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 24, 2014, 07:47:29 PM
Has anyone successfully used the support/message system on bitmain's site?   I submitted a request and every time I login it shows an '*' next to received messages, as if I have a message, but there are no messages showing up. The '*' may just be a weird bug on the site and I just haven't gotten a response yet....

i also get the * beside received messages, and i have not sent a message. its a bug with the site. you arent missing a message back or anything, chances are they are just real busy today with reopening sales and issuing refunds.
1212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 24, 2014, 11:07:37 AM
Anyone looking to get rid of their coupons let me know your price, probably gonna buy 9 or so this batch.

1214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: July 13, 2014, 12:40:48 PM
What length are the supplied power cords going to be?

they don't come with power cords, you need to buy them yourself, it's just kettle leads (if you are in the UK you know what this is)

my mistake then, Collider's post said "include" which lead me to believe. I know the SP10's shipped without, but we easily knew what type of end we needed beforehand, now it might be a guessing game haha.

1216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer on: July 02, 2014, 05:47:22 PM
Yea I really don't like how they have accepted money from buyers or set new possible dates that they may not make. Oh wait.. they aren't accepting money for "pre orders" from us miners. They also communicated they ran in to problems and rather than toss up a bullshit future date it looks like they have been solving the issues.

Let's get a definition check on the word estimate for some of these guys. These guys came straight out and said they would send a unit to Dogie for review, we didn't have to ask them to do this. Worse comes to worse Dogie never gets a unit and this thread was only good to raise your post count.

Be a smart buyer, don't buy until Dogie gives the a-ok,  and go buy an S3 to bid you over til the release of this miner.

we do not accepting money for pre-orders. We have enough BTC to design device by our own forces.
So, why do you blaming us?

you have misread what i wrote, it was sarcasm towards the people complaining about your progress.

What i was trying to get across was that you guys are doing exactly what the industry standard should be, no pre orders ( because delays can happen and no one likes their money tied up ) and when there is an issue or a delay you communicated with us and rather than set a new possibly unachievable date, you instead got down to work and it appears you fixed it. Keep up the good work.
1217  Economy / Securities / Re: Klyemax Studios Shareholders thread on: July 02, 2014, 04:49:55 AM
just wondering if Klyemax Studios bid on the USMS Auction and if so what Kyles losing bid was?

1220  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 30, 2014, 02:46:16 PM
the block found after these went on sale was 15,000BTC in transactions than the previous, and the block found immediately after was 1,600BTC. Thats a lot of S3's.
