Should I invest in Bitcoin?

Assess yourself and assess the situation. What brought you here? If you want to get profit 50% to the middle of this year than buy Bitcoin immediately and you’ll see how you’ll become a rich man.
762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in France: first legal decision directly related to Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2018, 09:47:37 AM
But I am still missing:

* Original August 11, 2011 Municipal Court Decision:
   http://creperso.free.fr/CIC/Ordonnance_de_refere_du_11_aout_2011.pdf

* And the more lengthy August 26 Appeals Court decision:
   http://creperso.free.fr/CIC/Arret_appel_26_aout_2011.pdf

* the October 18 decision which led to the halt of the SEPA activity

Does anyone have some of the above docs?

May I direct the attention back to those PDFs?  Grin

Bitcoin is becoming more and more legalized all over the world. Some countries even try to start its own national cryptocurrency. This is alternative way for them to get access to foreign financial markets.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Pre-ICO]***HOME LOANS***Blockchain. Home loans for everybody. HLCoin. on: January 12, 2018, 09:45:10 AM
Team mortgage loans is likely to choose not to ICO. This is due to the great demand for the use of our platform in January. The release also scheduled for January 2018. In the second half of the month.
Hurry up to buy tokens with bonuses.

I can join the mortgage program of your project at the end of January or there are some restrictions for residents of other countries?
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: January 12, 2018, 09:29:39 AM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

There are a lot of such stories. If you are working with digital currencies in some corners of your mind you must to be ready to rake a risk a be ready to lose money if something will go wrong.
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [SALE] [SELFKEY] ID Wallet for Citizenship, Fintech, Exchanges and much more on: January 12, 2018, 09:25:04 AM
The idea of the project is not very useful in my opinion and I do not think that it will be in demand. After the completion of the ICO, the tokens can also be promptly sold as they were bought, which after a while will lead to their uselessness.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the bitcoin price determined? on: January 12, 2018, 09:23:11 AM
I have just been recently trying to know how our legend crypto (Bitcoin) price determined. I really need to know more about this. Pls how is the price determined from time to time?

I don’t think that Bitcoin price manipulated by definite people or group of men. The price we see is not the result of purposeful policy. This price is defined by offer and demand. Simple rule.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BINANCE Exchange down? on: January 06, 2018, 11:55:46 AM
can you login on Binance?

I have heard about this kind of problems on Binance exchange. I used to work on other popular and reliable exchange platforms. First of all I am talking about Bitfinex and Bittrex. There no such obstacles.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your Bitcoin when you Die? on: January 06, 2018, 11:52:42 AM
Did you guys teach your family members on how to access and use your Bitcoin in case you will die?
Do you want to take your Bitcoin with you when you're gone?

Let me hear it from your own opinions...

This is really too morbid theme. Technically if you don’t transfer access information to your account to somebody then your bitcoins will be in your wallet forever, until the wallet would be crashed under hacker attacks.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: January 06, 2018, 11:49:48 AM
Dogecoin is one of my favorite coins. I have got several thousands of them in my wallet. I have been holding it for years. Finally, its price has been increasing for several weeks. I expect in 2018 1 Dogecoin = 1 dollar.

In my investment portfolio there is also Dogecoin. I hope that in the future these coins will bring me a good profit.

770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats the scariest almost mistake youve make transacting in btc on: January 06, 2018, 11:46:36 AM
not including almost placing orders in bfl, blackarrow etc, but making a transaction.

for me sweeping old paper wallets to claim bcash. i had done several already through mycelium on android but the biggest one i decided to send direct to my trezor, and not sweep to mycelium 1st as i had on the others. i send a small amount, check, then send the rest.

well this time i decided to sweep directly to the trezor and not use mycelium as an intermediary storage point, then send from there. it was a large amount. so i send 0.01 btc to the trezor. and i forgot about change addresses (DOH). thought i had sent the change to the great black hole.. so i was sweating bullets till i saw the change had been sent back to the original paper wallet address.

it was pretty nerve wracking to say the least as that paper wallet had about 20% of my btc.

btw i keep all swept paper wallets so i can sign them to prove ownership if needed (for good old tax man). plus there may still be forked coins in there, wallets were from 2014.

soo, any other near btc death experiences?

I don’t think that I have made any big mistake using Bitcoin. I don’t think that I should sell my BTC coins because of its low price now. It will rise and we’ll see our big profits again. Believe me,  I am sure.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 06, 2018, 11:43:56 AM
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

Telling the truth I don’t see any good program idea of ICO in 2018. A lot of tinsel but no real sense, practical perspectives. But ICO as a form will not die in a near future. The lack of good ideas is some kind of crisis, nothing more.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple - I am looking to buy on: January 06, 2018, 11:40:12 AM
I am New to crypto and been trying to buy some ripple as a start. I used Toast as my wallet. I am looking for up to 200 ripple coins and I can pay via paypal.

Or if anyone knows of a site where I can buy ripple without having to give a bunch of personal details please link it to me in this thread. The only ones I found ebay ect. have a 50 % + mark up from the current value.

Thanks,

RentMoney

If you newbie then the beat way to buy Ripple at first time is to use the Yobit platform. This is a common most popular tool of may people. There is no any problem with putting personal data in the system.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO directories on: January 06, 2018, 11:39:01 AM
Somebody has a complete list of credible websites which show upcomming ICOs with rating so I can decide which has some chance?

I am aware of:

https://www.coinist.io/
https://icohoo.com/
http://icowatchers.com/
http://www.icocalendar.today/ico-directory

Which one do you suggest?

Thanks a lot!!!

All these sites for entertainment and advertisement. Of course you will get some information of this but the analysis of the information this is thing that you would make yourself and be responsible for this.
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $500 Portofolio on: January 05, 2018, 03:00:20 PM
I am curious, if you had 500$, what portofolio would you build right now? How many coins would you buy and how much money would you put in each one of them?

So, what portofolio would you build with 500$?

I think that I would invest in BTC, ETH and XMR. The first two are for 200, and the third is $ 100. I think that this result should bring me good luck.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about verge elevation price on: January 05, 2018, 02:55:29 PM
I was lookin for altcoin to invest, and came out the porcentage for verge wich was about 13.000 % since 13/12/17 .
the price back then was $0.00148 and now its values is 0.20. what do you think?

When we are talking about the prices that on micro level it is hard to define the reasons of its growth. For many these currencies that are in the very beginning of its development the growth of some thousands percent is ordinary thing.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling tokens from myetherwallet on: January 05, 2018, 02:20:14 PM
Basically, you can't sell tokens in MEW. It's advisable to go for trading sites that don't offer fees for placing orders like KuCoin.

It is better to use Ethereum Wallet. It has more functions and possibilities comparing to MyEtherwallet, Metamask and many other ordinary online wallets. Try to explore Ethereum Wallet.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs are a legit or Scam? on: January 05, 2018, 02:16:30 PM
Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.

Recently, most of the ICO was created only to raise funds, and not to bring profits to investors. To determine a good project, you need to carefully study the terms of sale of the tokens, the idea, the team and the road map.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty or Airdrop? on: January 05, 2018, 02:06:33 PM
Bounty or Airdrop? what is the most easiest way to earn tokens?

I prefer to earn tokens with bounty. This method takes more time and requires certain skills, but the reward is much more.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EtherDelta! It's not safe anymore !? on: January 05, 2018, 02:00:53 PM
EtherDelta! Dear forum participants, what do you think about how to continue working, because there is no alternative to this exchange yet, and it is not possible to trade safely any more. What alternative can you offer?

I don’t want to use this platform anymore. At last few months Etherdelta was hacked or broken I suppose three times. If developers can not to hold with it. Then I should to find another more secure platform.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 7000$ to invest for 2018 on: January 05, 2018, 01:58:29 PM
I have 7k$ to invest for 2018, I'm looking for the next big potential (as everyone I believe Cheesy).
Need your best suggestions !

I looking for POWR and ARK, but maybe you have a better opportunities ?

I am really startled that some people are ready to invest a big stack of money in a currencies that I on myself never heard before. This is strange for me at least. My advice to buy Ripple or Ethereum, but this is a mauveton yet.
