|

The bitcoin software is not controlled but it is developed mostly by the group of core developers team pointing towards the easiness in transaction bugs and improvements on the security and while the code is open source anyone could easily manipulate the software and use.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Could Make ATM Skimmers a Thing of the Past
|
on: September 04, 2014, 06:18:10 PM

... The ATM is one of these positive innovations that are now targeted heavily by malicious technology. There are people using things called “skimmers,” and they’ve become incredibly efficient at stealing banking information over the past decade. If Bitcoin catches a mainstream wave, it could be the answer to this problem. http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/bitcoin-make-atm-skimmers-thing-past/2014/09/03Will Bitcoin ATMs become big and be the answer to the Skimmer Problem? It's not that the normal ATMs and banking sectors doesn't try fro their side to make the system more secure. But the fact is that they are all targeting people to give a sense of easy services but not concerning more on secure side

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Western Union - sending limits?
|
on: August 30, 2014, 05:38:32 PM

What is the max limit that I can send or receive cash? I have a few transactions through WU, all over $1k. One of them was over $2k and was blocked.
Is the max amount $900 per transaction, like moneygram? They also asked too many questions for these larger amounts.
Online transactions are limited in western union due to many ongoing serious frauds, how secure you make your system there is always someone who is gonna bypass it to commit some fraud

Economy / Service Discussion / Re: There's a BTC payment processor in Lithuania, copying BitPay. Your opinions?
|
on: August 30, 2014, 05:31:42 PM
|
Screenshot from this Lithuanian payment processor (bitmarket.lt/mistertango.com/payweb.lt; don't ask me why they use three different brands, but it's the same company): Screenshot from BitPay: Find 5 differences? I think not... I don't see anything inherently bad in copying, but there are two very different things: 1. Copying something, and improving/changing/adding new features. 2. Copying something, and then selling the identical copy for a higher price than the original thing cost. This is because as you see in the screenshots, they ask more BTC for the same amount of FIAT (both invoices were generated at the same time). I wanted to inform you of this, and also to hear your opinions. Is this kind of copying acceptable, or not? Those who copy and establish their brand couldn't be considered trustworthy. Those who couldn't even generate their own design ideas how could they provide a secure environment for its users assets who are trusting and utilizing their website.

Australia government is more progressive than China and US then. If they know they tide of virtual can't be stop, they might as well embrace it and get some benefit from it. Government should be like this in the favor of its citizens,Implement,Utilize and Rise with the people for the People.
