1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pelecoin - new cryptocoin has been launched on: May 22, 2014, 12:05:09 AM
Where is the love? Where are my free coins?

I would be ashamed to be the creator of pelecoin.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: We need to pass $547 to see a REAL jump! on: May 21, 2014, 11:53:54 PM
Seemed like Huobi was hesitant to follow the rally today, but is now only lagging $5 or so behind. Kinda undecided tbh about where we go from here, but 547 sounds optimistic.  Lips sealed

Heard Huobi started this pump followed by BStamp 10min after? Doesn't really matter  Smiley  wouldn't be surprised if the whale team were using both major exchanges.

Around 74,000BTC on Huobi and 30,000BTC on BStamp past 30Hrs.

$547 seems totally possible assuming consistent/increased trading volumes.

I'm hoping this time round we test but don't penetrate $500 barrier and trend towards $430, only because I'm in FIAT  Cheesy

Either way, interesting 2days to follow!

I am all FIAT too.. we need a steep downtrend to refill the btcbank.

this make no sense. I say trade more! It increase sales volume on exchange and its beter for day trading.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchanges 5% up in the last couple of hours on: May 20, 2014, 08:52:19 PM
i have bought and sold my 10 coins over 3 times in the last 10 days. profit margin between 2-4% every flip, until today. I am obviously buying back as soon as the trend is going down. Quadriga CX is great as people seem to be trding 15$ CND higher than bitstamp and prices are much more volatile than bigger exchange with higher volume.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchanges 5% up in the last couple of hours on: May 20, 2014, 08:20:35 PM
According to Bitcoin Exchange Calculator a single bitcoin is $476.998. If this has to do with Richard Branson $30 millions investment in BitPay (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=616850.0) it's going to short live...if not, Bitcoin is about to explode.

What are your thoughts?

I would not be surprised to see price going back to 430-440 within 48h. I am hoping anyway, so i can buy back and wait for next bubble.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchanges 5% up in the last couple of hours on: May 20, 2014, 07:51:18 PM
I bought my first bitcoins 10 days ago at 470$ CND and sold today for 550$ CND, I only had 10.. Its my first experience trading and I am really excited about it!
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Exchanges 5% up in the last couple of hours on: May 20, 2014, 06:18:11 PM
Its crazy, Quadriga CX is up 75 CND$ since yesterday. How high its gonna go?
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goomboo's Journal on: May 18, 2014, 02:55:33 AM
I am going to increase my position in BTC by 150% in the coming days. This is the first time trading in which I am going to ignore all these above intuitions. Every time I had this uncertainty I should have invested. Every time the market seemed so uncertain I should have invested. Time to roll the dice, see you on the other side.

I support this attitude.  If hundreds, thousands more people like you were able to take a leap of faith and buy some bitcoin right now, we'd be out of this downturn and cruisin' into a solid bull market within 48 hours.

"Be Fearful When Others Are Greedy, and Greedy When Others Are Fearful" -Warren Buffett

I rather the price we have today... until i have enough to enjoy an upturn.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Buy Low, Sell High', is that the same as 'Sell High, Buy Low'? on: May 18, 2014, 12:53:17 AM
For any investments in cryptocurrency, the correct formula for getting rich is this:

"Buy now, hold for 3-5 years, oh look there's no fiat left to sell your crypto for. Spend crypto anywhere @ 100x value you paid for it."

Some of us actually believe in trading. We sell/buy several times a day in order to increase total value. I started with 1000$, I now have XAU/CND/USD/XBT moving from one to another. I funded my account only once, and my total value is near double.

Holding wont do that. Trading is like a daily income.

It seems very expensive. How much profit was made since you started. What is your daily traffic? Daily orders?
13  Economy / Goods / Re: Bitcoin T-Shirt for 12.89 mBTC, Group Buy ($5.63) on: May 17, 2014, 06:20:53 AM
I will ship by any method you choose on http://www.usps.com or http://www.fedex.com/us/ and only charge you actual shipping. However, I prefer to ship by USPS priority mail with insurance and tracking for 0.093 BTC, which includes the T-Shirt AND shipping for one T-Shirt. Shipping can be combined for multiple T-Shirt purchases. I invite you to my website for further details and to place the order: http://www.3dprintfilemarket.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1381

I am very confused. How much BTC to get this shipped to Canada t1k 1g7

Thanks.. i will look into it. I dont really like the picture.. but i like the cost.

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashcloud and Credit Card on: May 16, 2014, 07:45:40 PM
I am not using credit card to buy my BTC, I used Interact Online. I think its going to be a lot more fun to see the value changing, the possibility to exchange every month for a kid than a bunch of BTC right of the bat. He most likely will exchange them all for cash on day one if I do that.
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashcloud and Credit Card on: May 16, 2014, 06:58:03 PM
i found hashop.io, is it legit?
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Hashcloud and Credit Card on: May 16, 2014, 06:41:56 PM
I have been getting my bitcoin on an exchange like most of us, but i need to get into an hashcloud contract. I have to give a birthday gift to someone, something different. I do not care if the value end up less than buying and holding, I want the kid to actually take it as a learning opportunity, about both bitcoin, savings, and mining. I want him to learn the concept of investing for slow long tern reward blah blah blah...

Anybody know a good cloud company taking credit card for payment?
18  Economy / Services / Re: Writing high quality articles for Bitcoin on: May 16, 2014, 05:23:11 AM
I find your website very hard to read. I randomly got there yesterday.. I had to bookmark in order to come read later as I did not have the energy at the time.

Its weird how its empty everywhere but the text is all in the middle going down forever with little to no way to see the entire content or a break down of all articles.

I will look into reading more of it tomorrow and give you appropriate feedback.
