Hey guys, can someone explain it me how the pool stack works? I'm not familiar with this. Is there a minimum amount if buzz for entering the pool?
No minimum - that's the point. Where smaller wallet balances can take a long time to come through, if you combine them with others' amounts in a staking pool, stakes will come through more often, allowing you to compound the returns

hi, my wallet have been on 1yr 44 weeks sync for over 2 days. its not moving. what could be the likely problem.
It sounds like you need to close Buzzcoin executable, download and unzip the latest bootstrap... you need to extract the contents of the zip file to where the wallet.dat file is stored... (Back up wallet.dat first). The folder is something like '[Username]\AppData\Roaming\BuzzCoin'... Then run the executable again and hopefully it should sync

Sudan? But you have Russian names in the top of the team I'm okay with that, why do you call yourself Sudan?
Think you might have got the wrong coin there! This is the Buzz ANN thread...!

Are you sure windows wallet is safe for use? There is no virus? http://take.ms/nIsKeIt's looks like it contains Trojan.Win32.IRCbot I know that a few people have asked about this... It does get flagged as an IRCbot, but Avast lists it as 'PUP' - short for Potentially Unwanted Program, and K7 lists it as 'Riskware'. A think there are a few other coins that do this as well, but from my own experience, I've been running the wallet on a Windows machine for a few weeks now with absolutely no issues.

Hmmm might switch over to BUZZcoin for a while, sounds interesting but with rates like this we might see it crash to "fast" unless they are active in keeping this coin alive. I was checking out the buzzcoin community and there doesn't seem to be a lot of problems with this coin.
I got a general ? though how how many coins should i buy to start staking readily?
At the moment, the coins in circulation is about 20% of the total coin supply, so quite a way to go yet... If you want to stake every day, you need about 3million+ coins

No real problems with the wallet syncing here - although it can take a bit of time. Far easier if you download the bootstrap files from the website... But once you're there, everything should be fine... As for any white paper or roadmap, best get on their discord channel for now - that's where most of the community action is... https://discordapp.com/invite/dahMkae

[HELP] [HELP] [HELP] [HELP] Let's see who here know how to repair/importa wallet using the ".dat" backup file I imagine that this must be done using the console, but I can't find the right way of doing it Thanks in advance! The way I've backed up wallets in the past is just to close the wallet, rename the current one to 'wallet.dat_old' or something to identify it, copy the backup wallet.dat file to the correct folder, re-open the wallet and it should be fine... Backup should be restored

Thank you. My Windows Defender keeps detecting a specific trojan in the latest wallet, any ideas why please?
Yeah, I had that as well, so looked into it a little. I think it's an IRC thing for communicating with the network. Avast has it down as a PUP - 'Potentially Unwanted Program' - rather than a virus or the Trojan that Windows defender flags it up as; Kapersky lists it as an IRCbot; K7 lists it as 'risk ware'. So I added an exception to it on a Windows VM, installed and checked the registry. Didn't find anything sinister, and the wallet has been running fine for over a couple of weeks now Thank you, that's what I wanted to hear and I do remember running into this on one of my other staking wallets in the past. I appreciate the help. You're more than welcome! People in the Buzz community were good to me when I first bought some, so I'm just paying it forward!

How do I install/upgrade new wallet? 1. backup your wallet ( wallet.dat ) to a safe location 2. Navigate to C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Buzz 3. delete everything in the BuzzCoin folder except wallet.dat 4. delete any old Buzz QT wallets from the computer 5. download the latest wallet and bootstrap from website: http://www.buzzcoin.info/6. Unzip bootstrap (this should give you a single folder) 7. Open that folder and copy all files and folders inside to %Appdata%\BuzzCoin folder 8. Open the wallet 9. add nodes click help > debug window > console addnode 51.15.95.128 add addnode 138.68.47.202 add 10. Wait 5-10 minutes and you'll start syncing I upgraded but my total balance is incorrect. Where are my missing coins? Click help > debug window > console type in: repairwallet You will receive a weird error Wait 5-10 mins and if your balance doesn't update, close and re-open wallet I can not synchronize my wallet. Maybe you need to keep it in a special folder? Help please synchronize. Some incomprehensible need dancing with a tambourine. It can take a while to synchronize... Have you got the latest bootstrap from the website or asking in discord? https://discord.gg/VAkqYvqThank you. Something doesn't make sense here. The ETN team continues to leave updates on FB about their progress of "thousands of lines of code" yet their Github is empty and hasn't been updated since Oct 31st. https://github.com/electroneum/electroneum/commits/masterConsidering they forked off Monero and still don't know how to remove the name "Monero" from their actual code, I'm super curious what those 1000's of lines of code looks like. BUT HEY, THEY GOT SOME GOOD LOOKIN COFFEE MUGS! Just because they haven't updated the public GitHub with pre-release builds, it doesn't mean that they're not working on anything...

buzz looks promising
I think Buzz IS promising... the dev team are active, there's a good community on discord, and it's dirt cheap - at the moment

Hacks do happen though. i hope this was the case.
Only problem with the hack excuse is there was nothing to hack.. there were no wallets to hack with coins in them yet so what could the hackers actually steal ? I think the issue was to do with people using the same passwords for their ETN login as their email address - why else would Richard have asked users to change their email passwords first and then reset all the ETN passwords? My understanding is that if the hackers got in by hacking Yahoo and Hotmail accounts (among others), they could have also set up bots to withdraw the tokens as soon as the system went live. That being the case, the team did exactly the right thing by postponing the release of the tokens. My only question is to do with acing the blockchain go live before the token release - just my opinion, and for what it's worth, any tokens I have are never going to be sold in the short term - I think they should have postponed the whole thing until the system was fully up and running

once you have the wallet running, type "help" to see the command to start mining. If you plan on mining with cpu, remember you are competing with gpu miners
Is that really the case? I just listened to the interview and it was made very clear that the rewards system is not based on the same as the physical mining. It is more like a marketing tool. You can't compare physical chain mining and virtual mining on a phone - they are not competing over the same resources I think he was referring to the downloadable wallet and CPU mining software from https://downloads.electroneum.com rather than the mobile mining app

What bugs me the most is that why a team who raised $40 mln in funds wasn't capable of hiring a middle level Linux admin/developer who could do the job for a few thousands bucks?
I wish I am wrong, but this thought seems to be very logical to me. With that kind of budget there shouldn't be any shortage in team's skills set.
this bugs me too, because as it stands today their codebase (which is public on github) is nothing other than just a monero fork with a string replace of monero to electroneum. literally 0 added intellectual property for blockchain technology. i have no idea what they're devs are doing. i guess they focused on the mobile app which is yet to be seen. Okay, since we are on the subject, has anybody bothered to check the team behind the project? I would have obviously done that if I wanted to invest into an ICO, so I'm curious if any of the investors took a closer look at the team to see how many of them have development skills and how many are in marketing and so on. If the team's core is from the marketing then you know what to expect on development side http://electroneum.com/#teamThere seems to be a lot of development know-how in the team... (although there's little or no mention of QA, from what I can tell!)

for those who bought at $0.01 over 6 billion premined coins,i'm sorry to say that your coin's value has been dilute to $0.005 now because the premined coins is 12.6 billion ! Cheers!
Give it a rest, eh? It's beyond boring now and you're really not adding anything constructive to the conversation at this point
