Question:

The deadline to export/import private keys from v2 to v3 wallet is the 10th?

I'll be away from home during the whole weekend...

Can I do that in the morning of the 11th?

Or should I use method 2 and and try to open the old wallet.dat in the new wallet?

Sugestions?

You can export the keys at any time, even after a month or a year.
But it will be better if you to prepare your wallet in advance (until the network DMD v 2.0 in good working condition)

Yeah, I thought so. I'll migrate my assets first thing in the morning of the 11th and start my MN :-)

Thanks!

@cryptonit:

Any news on the solution for those who purchased the Reactor Auction keys?

they will get the missing 2 months 25% POS rewards
as payment send towards their address
1000*0.25/12*2= 41.66 DMD

after DMDv3 launched

Ok, thanks!

how to use overdrive without amd cpu???

We are not debating AMD's tool. We are talking about this:

Yes.
Win 10LTSB
470
480
580

I've been using Overdrive for the last two days and my 480 cards will not keep the voltage settings.

Edit: I've just tried your technique disabling P0-P6 and the results are the same: Overdrive shows the correct voltages values (815mV) but GPU-Z or HWInfo show values from 834mv to 985mV  Undecided

Dosen't matter what they shows.
Look for power consumption - you will see how it drops. Try it without and with Overdrive.
And Overdrive keep all setting, if you do as i explained above.

Right now I cannot measure the consumption at the wall but I believe Overdrive reads the values from the driver/API while GPU-Z and HWInfo take readings from the sensors. Therefore, regardless of what Overdrive shows, I believe nothing has changed.

But hey, thanks anyway. I welcome every suggestion  Grin

Here solution if AB not works for you to lowering voltage.

Use Overdrive.

1.Start it (you see options to choose cards) choose one
2. Double click on left column P0 till P6 - DISABLE IT.
3. In P7 (that only left) set desired Freq and Voltage (that for GPU)
4. IN P1 (under MEMORY) set desired Freq
5. APPLY and SAVE as profile 123
6. Do same for all cards you have and rig (same profile name 123)
7. Test you settings (for stability) - you will se all works you GPU is UNDERVOLTED !
8. Now you need make .BAT file and drop it to autostart (windows)
For example inside bat file:  OvedriveNTool.exe -p0"123" -p1"123" -p2"123" -p3"123" -p4"123
Drop a link to autostart and enjoy.

-p0 - that GPU number it goes from 0 till How many you have
"123" - that a profile name that you save
Names can be different, depends how you like it.

All works fine. Good Luck

You tested this solution with Win10 +blockchain drivers + RX 480?
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 18, 2017, 03:23:56 PM

Well it seems you can undervolt "easily" with the RX4xx series since you can still use WattTool so that's not too much of a hassle. I just have an ini file for each card, launch WattTool at startup then your miner a few seconds later and it's super stable with the dag fix.

But since WattTool doesn't work with the RX5xx series and I find that working with AB or Trixx is a real pain in the ass selecting each GPU and doing the undervolt. When you have 20+ rigs it becomes quite a big task.

Intersting read in your post about ADL. I'm really not a developper so I can't imagine all the work that it must be. Anyway, keep up the good work! I guess I'll wait for this to get fixed eventually.

WattTool doesn't work anymore, not with the blockchain drivers  Cry

Hey guys
how i start  eth mining ?

Like you start any other activity; by reading and educating yourself about it. Read, study, and research before your even consider the possibility of mining. This is a very risky and demanding business.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 17, 2017, 09:38:40 AM

Try with Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16

AB 4.4.0 Beta 16 either crashes my rig or messes things up... I'd rather have stable rigs with a bit of fluctuations in the voltages than have an unstable rig. But that's just me  Grin
In my case Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16 is working like a charm.

Beta driver + Beta AB + Beta miner = ?

Stability report:

Claymore 9.8, running on Win10 + AMD Blockchain drivers (patched) + RX480 with modded BIOS

Two rigs working 10 hours with no problems apart from the aforementioned voltage settings.

Not that bad...

ok and what about a .bat file and is supernova reputable? oih and theres also a epools wich i have with nanno, but then a dpool file do i need to make a new dpool file?

A config file is more versatile, an epool and dpool files are only required if you want to have failovers. As you should...  Grin

Suprnova's reputation?

You can be the judge of that, ok?
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 17, 2017, 12:11:05 AM
ok, i would like to mine ether and decred. can i mine at 2 different pools at the same time? such as nannopool, and then a different pool for decred? could someone help me make a bat file maybe even suggest a decred pool if can mi9nme at 2 different pools?

Create a config.txt file similar to this:

Code:
-epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444
-ewal [your address]
#-eworker
-epsw x
-esm 1
-dpool dcr.suprnova.cc:3252
-dwal Trimegisto.RIG02
-dpsw x
-dcoin dcr
-allpools 1
-mode 0

Fill the remaining parameters with your own choices.

Hoping someone has an easier solution then reinstalling windows 10.

6 RX480 Rig (2 Asus, 4 Gigabyte), Windows 10 64, Claymore 9.8, Modded Bios, 100% stable dual mining Eth & Sia, 16.9.2 Drivers.

When I install any new drivers including the blockchain one just released (Not the shifty one) My cards take 16 seconds instead 4 to load the dag and all hash at 4 mhs instead of 28.3. Crossfire is off, ULPS is disabled. Had the same issue with the 17.2 drivers.

Have 20 Gb of space for Claymore, Windows doesn't update because I never activated it.

Here is the process I am using to install the new drivers.

Run DDU in safe mode, Install drivers, Restart, Run Pixel Patch, Restart, open Afterburner, Open Claymore 9.8.

Just reinstalled the 16.9.2 drivers and my rig is mining away at 169 Mhs. Did the exact same process as listed above.

Am I missing a step? Anything else to try? Do I need to just start over and reinstall windows?

Thanks for you help in advance Smiley

My rigs are 6x 480 Sapphire Nitro OC. I followed the same procedure and all went well. Except I don't use Afterburner...

Try and repeat, but forget about AB

859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 16, 2017, 11:15:58 PM
I can confirm this combination is now working in both my rigs:

Claymore 9.8, running on Win10 + AMD Blockchain drivers (patched) + RX480 with modded BIOS

My rigs jumped from ~131 Mh/s to ~145 Mh/s (reported)

However, voltages are not as stable as they were before and the miner is not able to apply -cvddc 800 and -mvddc 800 to all the cards. Therefore the hashrate increase is also due to an increase in my power consumption.

So, it appears the voltage issue is not settled neither for the 5xx, nor for the 4xx but it could be exclusively a driver problem

I'll let them run for a few hours and report back on the overall stability.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.8 (Windows/Linux) on: August 16, 2017, 08:10:44 PM

I've checked Win10 + RX480, it seems it works, I see voltage changes in WattMan if I restart it. ADL does not report any errors.

Just to be clear:

Claymore 9.8, running on Win10 + AMD Blockchain drivers can overclock and underclock all parameters for the RX480?
