301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titanium - World's First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider 🚀 on: March 07, 2018, 12:15:37 PM
What happened with this token?  Why price is dropped  too much to 0.02?. Is there any bad news behind it?
OK, so one more time:
The token price dropped because Titanium was hacked, around 16Mio BARs were stolen (rumors say by a team member)
Then TBIS reacted instantly and told the exchanges to stop the Trading of BAR.
However, not all exchanges acted like IDEX for example, and really stopped the trading.
So therefore, uninformed people just saw the cheap price of the BARs on HitBTC or FatBTC, and continued to trade, thinking they now could have made a good decision buying these cheap tokens.

The truth however is, all BARs bought after the hack (21.02, 7PM), will be worthless, as TBIS has now forked / switched the old BARs to a new token, called TBAR.
Only investors who bought BARs before this incident happened, will / have received their TBARs in a 1:1 ratio.
(Those who had their BARs on an exchange, had to fill out a form from TBIS to get their TBARs on the exchange, the others with BARs on their wallet got the TBARs automatically)

To sum it up: Everyone who bought BARs recently, should better sell them, to not loose all the money.
The current BAR token price on CMC doesnt reflect the real value of the token.
We will see the real token price, when trading of the new TBARs will start, within the next few days.

thank you for the news, but at first in shock was when there was such a discharge of tokens, but that's the situation.
Has already received TBAR waiting for exchanges

It doesn't even help anyone to encourage to sell those worthless TBARs because the person buying those worthless tokens is as fucked up as the person holding those worthless TBARs. Bottom line, that hack made a lot of people lose money and someone usually should pay for it. In my opinion it's the business that lost the money in the first place, which is Titanium. But that is a step we all don't want as original holders. It's just so bad.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepONION ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia ✈️ Airdrops 33/40 New Thread ✈️ on: March 07, 2018, 12:12:05 PM
Every week there are more and more mentions about Deep Onion. Great to see that. I know the end of Airdrop means moving forward for Deep Onion but im not looking forward to it in a way Smiley.

The airdrops are doing their work as they attract more and more people every single day. Was a good decision to distribute those airdrops consistently over a longer period of time.

I love airdrops over ICO. Everyone has right to join the airdrops. It is definitely not a rich man's game only. You don't have to have lots of money as long as you hold 50 onions you will be entitle for the airdrop in current market it is about 150 usd.

I agree although with most airdrops happening you also know that they might be rigged because the team has control over the approval of airdrop applicants. But DO's approach makes a fair impression.
Well they shouldn't really. Its a fair process and the tokens you get from a airdrop are free unlike a ICO were you have to buy your token and hope you will earn back your investment.

Sure but in theory you could set up plenty of accounts and claim the airdrop all for yourself (as a development team), even if you publish a spreadsheet. Then you hype the project, get listed and dump the airdrop. This does NOT apply to DO, I am just saying it because it can happen if the airdrop doesn't have the right counter measures in place.

Which exchanges have you contacted and what is the plan of action/rollout of them?

You need to ask Titanium support these questions and  not rely on idiots like me in this thread. Titanium already contacted all exchanges to stop BAR trading.  The company has already issued updates for their roll out plan for the forked TBAR coins.
Everyone waiting for the next update.

With the massive trouble going on now they should seriously hurry up and clear the mess. I fear most of the damage can't be undone, which is not so cool for anyone who put money into this.

Yep, I am pretty pissed I must say because such events take away a lot of the positive hype and dynamics. Not to forget all the trust that is now lost when it comes to the strengths of the team and the ability to pull this promising project off.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BTCZ] BitcoinZ - Low Fees, 100% Community, POW-Equihash No-Premine No-Tax on: March 03, 2018, 02:16:44 PM
Not sure if it's too late but development speed would have to accelerate significantly in order to compete with BTCP. They probably have a lot of resources available to get BTCP where they want it to be.
We have to consider both short-term and long-term races, what you said is for short-term race. It's good but not enough.

Not sure if I agree with you. If BTCP starts with a huge market cap (big if here), they would have much more resources than BTCZ. And if deployed efficiently and effectively, those resources will make them win the race.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌕🌕🌕 [ICO] HIVEWAY.NET - YOUR SOCIAL NETWORK 🌕🌕🌕 on: March 03, 2018, 02:15:12 PM
Imo it's really not optimal to launch the thread and start the ICO the next day. It would be much better to raise awareness for a period of time with the help of a bounty campaign and then actually start your ICO.
That is right, we should make things clear first before entering into something that we didn't actually fully understand the platform. This project seems in a hurry because they released the announcement at Feb. 28 and in the next day its ICO will start. I think dev should make some time to adjust their date of ICO so that people who wants to know more about the platform will have time to do some research.

I don't want to make a premature judgment here, but more often than not projects approaching an ICO that way turn out to be scam. It just doesn't make sense to go for an ICO that way if you are serious about your intentions.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Fire Lotto - International blockchain LOTTERY on: March 03, 2018, 02:13:51 PM
USA citizens can officiale participate in the ICO. We placed SAFT agreement in investors cabinet and now informing SEC about our token.

Don't be fooled. This scammers are trying to lure you into completely illegal activities. The SEC has no present rules that address cryptotokens specifically, only securities in general. Crypto-tokens that are securities must comply with the laws for traditional securities. The definition of a security is very broad, but does include (by recent clarification) practically all crytotokens that are not utility tokens that have immediate utility and whose value is not tied to the profits of a company or project. A registering a public offering is what a company does before an Initial Public Offering (IPO). It involves Form S-1, and the creation of a prospectus. The costs of producing the prospectus and registration materials, plus the ongoing reporting obligations, are so expensive, that practically no company executes a registered public offering without also “going public” on a secondary stock exchange such as the NYSE or NASDAQ. Otherwise, the costs greatly exceed the benefits (liquidity and access to capital that the major secondary stock markets provide). So do you really believe, that Fire Lotto that does not have a operating license, that is registered in offshore and operated by Russian criminals will be listed on NYSE or NASDAQ ??  Grin This is another confirmation that this project is organized and orchestrated by criminals.

Actually again no proofs just words  Smiley I`m admin of a project and my job is to show news about Fire Lotto and help people, answer thier questions and thats why my posts are about this project! And u man just write every link only negative I think it`s your job

While the criticism here isn't entirely wrong, I wonder how you would shut down a lottery that operates in a decentralized way. I think that's just not possible and governments will need to think about solutions other than shutting something down which you can't shut down.

FireLotto is 100% decentralized platform piwered by smart contracts only. You can check bitcoin hash for each draw in draw history on firelotto.com All as mentioned on whitepaper.

Yes yes I know Smiley That is why I said that whatever governments wanna do, they'll have a hard time to stop people from using it anyway.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: March 03, 2018, 02:12:36 PM
The price on Bittrex is amazing. It goes to show how Bittrex trades are fake bots. How the hell would buy at 3x the price of all other exchanges.

But I personally think the sell of on ZCL had no reason and the price could go back up to at least $80.

BTCP when starts trading could start at $200. Will see where it goes from there but if you ask me its at least worth as much as half of BCH or $600 so if starts trading at $200 it could run up after that.

If I remember correctly development for ZCL will stop completely. I doubt the price will go up again. Or has there someone been found now to continue the dev work?
Yes, it will stop.
But the market sometimes is quite a funny thing, and stopped development might sometimes be better than continued but screwed up.
ZCL is a good foundation, without greedy lines of code of Zcash and Zencash. And it can survive as a starting point of some privacy hardforks and one of the "default" coin. It was pumped and dumped, nothing new or unusual.

A not so unlikely scenario is that a capable developer will buy up ZCL at very low prices and then announces to continue development. As you say the code base is solid.

Maybe it will be too late. We already see stolen idea from BTCZ in the form of BTCP.
Linux is far better OS than Windows, but which one is far more popular? Better technology doesn't have to win.  Undecided

313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][pre-ico]WeAre - Revolution in Helping Investors and Founders with ICO on: March 01, 2018, 10:03:40 AM
How does the WeAre foundation work?
Who is the manager?

The main idea of the WeAre foundation is to promote the WeAre token and support new ecosystem projects. WeAre's profit directly depends on the WeAre ecosystem.
WeAre is an ecosystem, which contains amount of tools and services for investors and founders who are going for fundraising by issuing digital assets (tokens or cryptocurrency).

I was always wondering what the exact function of the foundation was. Does that also have to do with tax implications for crypto-project founders?

Full amount of projects and assets will be a property of all participants, but not small number of people and founders. WeAre is not just another blockchain or fund that provides token issue and projects supporting. It is a complete ecosystem, where success of each project increases portfolio value of all token holder. By this way all team leaders are interested in success of all projects and will provide all available help by advices or providing staff or funds for solving some issues.

Does that mean that all WeAre holders are also participating in ICOs that get launched with the help of WeAre?
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🚀 [ANN]Genie-ICO 🌟🚀 Asian Asset Exchange | REFERRAL PAYOUT on: March 01, 2018, 10:01:23 AM
I watched the project and I hoped that hardcap would be raised. Judging by the meager advertising in social networks, I came to understand that the developers aren't very confident in their project, and as a result - with great difficulty reached softcap and didn't close the project. I'm really sorry. I hope to implement the plans in future!

By reaching their softcap it's at least certain that they are going to develop the product as promised. And sometimes it's even a good thing for investors because they start out with a smaller marketcap, which in turn comes with higher growth potential for your investment.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Titanium - World's First Decentralised Cloud Services Provider 🚀 on: March 01, 2018, 09:57:08 AM

I am confused by your comment. You  are suspicious of the company and feel cheated in that they have misrepresented themselves. OK I get that but not sure I agree with your sentiment. We are all here to make money on our ICO investments. However, regardkess of your feelings I fail to see how you have been cheated in monetary terms. If your BAR tokens are replaced 1:1 with new TBARs then you have lost nothing in terms of money. And since it is early days and the token is not listed on bigger exchanges then you are imagining unrealized losses.
My advice is just to wait and hodle your TBAR tokens. If the company is even a fraction of a success then your TBAR tokens will be worth much more than what you paid. You can sell your tokens for profit.
If you thought this was going to be a fast swing trade for profit then you were wrong. Most ICOs fail and they few that make it can take a few years before they moon after they get their platforms set up  (eg. Populous, veritaseum, omisego).
And finally, if you are this emotional with your investments you should not be invested in highly speculative ICO start ups.

Replacing BARs with TBARS 1:1 will not fix the problem

Reputation is gone, damage done, 90%+ regret investing in company and no new buyers believe in this CEO.

Micheal interviews are all fluff, car salesman style of talk and delivery

People get banned in TG for asking reasonable questions, its sad the way Titanium ended up
He took 35m USD and is  then someone steals his private keys, what moron keeps 16m tokens on one addy? I have 4 adresses and nowhere near that many coins.

This guy will screw up all the time, he has no deep knowledge and we are paying for it.
Selling timeshare on some beach would suit him better

Im all for ETH/BTC refund, others can have TBARs and good luck to them.

Now he says he wont honor replacing BARs with TBARS bought after certain period of time?

I can see this ending up as a lawsuit if not handled right

Getting banned from the TG channel is really a very bad move by them. They first lose millions of dollars and then remove you from the channel for asking questions about it? That's as bad as it can get.

318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] InsureCoin - First Decentralized Insurance Providing Platform on: March 01, 2018, 09:51:38 AM
Due to restrictions provided from the Canadian government with registering our insurance platform as a viable company in the registered database and to represent it physically through the office we plan to announce, the government has requested a multitude level of documents and ID’s from all staff and advisory board due to the delicate procedures of running an insurance company that may result in sensitive information being submitted by users. This being said, we were asked to submit a large amount of paperwork and have it verified before we can proceed with our Crowdsale, this was an unforeseen problem and therefore we require 30 days extension on the Crowdsale start date. For this reason all activities such as bounty etc, will continue for 30 days extra, and conclude at the end of the crowdsale as planned.

Talking about this incident as an unforeseen problem sounds a little bit foolish, to put it mildly Tongue Tell me a single country where you could launch an insurance company without even submitting any documents to authorities. Probably not even possible in an African desert or a South East Asian jungle Cheesy

I feel like you should provide more information on this thread. Many people are hesitant to click links and you should make access to info as easy as possible. Otherwise too many people will think this is suspicious.

Hi everybody...what other interesting pools for this coin besides those mentioned on the first page?
D3POOL.EU - but payment only once per 24h....looks not good
d3pool.eu is good pool, some problems with miner disconnection at the moment, but this will be soon solved. They will migrate to another server provider.
looks like this pool is best pool for X11 coins at the moment.

I had some problems when sending too much of hashrate. My inout was rejected sometimes. Is that a standard problem?
