Has a decision been made in terms of funding for development?

Hm sad you didn't answer my question: for how long have you been developing this platform? Has it been under development in stealth mode for quite some time?

Devs need to be convinced to Add RSK(Smartcontracts) and lightining network(Unsure of Segwit) functionality to the dogecoin blockchain(just like BTC and LTC are doing atm). I believe then DOGE will skyrocket both in Usage and in price.
Question is how many developers are currently involved to make it happen in a reasonable time frame? DOGE needs more active development at the moment, no dev, they have all canceled their participation to DOGE. You can also find a youtube video with the creator of DOGE saying that he will never continue dev DOGE. make a search on youtube That would be ok if someone took over, but nobody seems to want to do it, so Doge is just a meme unfortunately. I quite liked the coin, but it doesn't really offer anything anymore in face of all the competition. And it's perhaps impossible to change what once made it so strong in a trustworthy way. As you said it is just a meme and it is like a stigma and nobody would really believe DOGE could compete with the big ones on a technical level. And ultimately, that is the truth for now (and might remain forever). A meme competing on a technical level would be some next level meme though. Sure it would be difficult to pull that off, but I would really enjoy seeing it done. Absolutely! Problem is we would need people (actually super skilled people) think the same way as you and me. And for them there are a lot of other opportunities where there is money to be made. This community would need to gather a good amount of funds to attract devs. I wish I had the reputation to round up funds and look for strong developers and marketing teams. Aren't there any prominent oldschool shibes around to tackle this task? With all the lack in development and interest in DOGE it is impressive that this is still a $130 million coin. I mean I am sure it is well distributed but there must be some whales with a huge interest in further development. Where are they? Traders would trade anything as long as it can be converted into money. It doesn't matter if it's coins minted from fecal matter or gold or even monopoly money. Well, as long as it can be converted into more money than they invested I would say. So some do obviously still believe in DOGE. |

Take a developer fee for marketing and infrastructure of 500 BTCZ per block size reward, but do not destroy the factor 1000 in relation to BTC.
The halving will destroy the trust of 'normal' people in BTCZ as true BTC 2.0 as explained in post #1 of this thread.
Please could you explain exactly from the advantage site why halving helps?
BTC is mining until year 2040 to get all the 21 mio coins available. Shall BTCZ miners mining until year 2070 to get all available coins?
Halving destroys the reasonable factor 1000 to factor 500, this makes no sense IMHO.
Halving is a contradiction to the basic concept of BTCZ.

Zcash devs take 20% (2.5 Zec out of each block) while BTCZ is a pure coin, BTCZ starting to get a dev fee you too This is not a dev fee - this is a community chest. Dev fees go directly as 'wages' for the work they do/ have done. The proposal here is to build a community chest where a part of the block reward goes to a multisignature wallet address where there are 8 key holders. Any funds that need to be withdrawn from the chest MUST be voted on and if vote passes 3 of the 8 key holders must sign the transaction for it to execute. Hi so while reading what you are trying to accomplish there is a number of projects coming to my mind. They are not quite doing what you are going to do, but there is a certain overlap. Bitclave, Synereo, BAT and a few more. How do you fit into that niche and what exactly is your value proposition for the marketing space?

We will develop new technology first for the main pain-points: trust in tracking and settlement. And there, first for the performance advertising market. We strive to establish the technology, the brand, the business relations and take it from there. It is our belief, that this approach has a higher chance of success than the truly revolutionary approaches of some other start-ups. Fair enough and thanks for the honest explanation. the profitability for this coin in regards to mining was awesome. But as always, the more people find about BitcoinZ the more are going to mine it and the less is to be earned by every individual. Then, it will be un-profitable soon. Good luck and happy mining. You're assuming it's going to stay at the same value or drop in value. I have not seen the potential that this coin and community have in a long time. I truly believe this coin aims to be what BTG and SIG2X tried to be. There is a lot of future ahead of us. Let's look to that and work on building the foundation. Think logically. If we want to make this coin accessible to everyone in the future, why limit to a few million? Everybody hates having to do math in 0.00000x. With this coin, it'll be much more usable in whole or small fractions. We are witnessing the decentralization of money and anyone is hoping to launch a currency and get rich. It's not going to happen. The competition is already on full steam and only if you offer surplus value your currency will have a chance to survive. Right now BitcoinZ does not offer anything beyond what other currencies offer. If they do not come up with something unique very soon, this thing will be history. |

Why? Is this your assumption? Or is there evidence? If there is, please provide. Someone did a really nice analysis on youtube and proved marketing manipulation and fake accounts. That's not good for the reputation of Atlant project, I have been a supporter of this project as I believe it's its vision and mission. If you are kind enough, will you provide me with that information from youtube? just post the link. It is not even clear to me what you were trying to say. It must be very hard evidence because otherwise you could theoretically accuse all other ICOs of having done the same. |
