Devs need to be convinced to Add RSK(Smartcontracts) and lightining network(Unsure of Segwit) functionality to the dogecoin blockchain(just like BTC and LTC are doing atm). I believe then DOGE will skyrocket both in Usage and in price.
Question is how many developers are currently involved to make it happen in a reasonable time frame? DOGE needs more active development at the moment, no dev, they have all canceled their participation to DOGE. You can also find a youtube video with the creator of DOGE saying that he will never continue dev DOGE. make a search on youtube That would be ok if someone took over, but nobody seems to want to do it, so Doge is just a meme unfortunately. I quite liked the coin, but it doesn't really offer anything anymore in face of all the competition. And it's perhaps impossible to change what once made it so strong in a trustworthy way. As you said it is just a meme and it is like a stigma and nobody would really believe DOGE could compete with the big ones on a technical level. And ultimately, that is the truth for now (and might remain forever). |

I totally agree. It seems from the past that after an ICO is finished the token value immediately skyrockets. Around june 2017 there where almost 800 coins. Now, only 5 months later it is almost 500 more...Too much choice for new investors but also on the other hand opportunity for projects that have a real product. The ICO area in general is not as hot as a year/ half a year ago. It is still extremely hot, but things have changed due to the unbelievable number of ICOs being launched. Back then all people thought they would miss out if they didn't invest in whatever ICO. Things are different now. Quality will be more and more important, and that is a very good tendency. |

I think this coin is cheap because this coin is ASIC free which is a big value in the future.

True but we should keep in mind that it is a feature that other coins can easily copy. You also need something outstanding in the long term. Even Bitcoin Gold claims to be am Asic free coin and it has much more backing than BitcoinZ. |

Because we want more money! Some day BTCZ will cost 1usd. mmmm. would be lucky to go 0.1 if it reaches big exchanges and gets some adoption... Chainlink or substratum got lower supply + huge hype in youtube, etc+ bigger marketcap, and are listed on bigger exchanges, still not moving from 0.2... BTCZ is cool, but itīs not solving anything, just payments.. 1$ with so many ICO and exciting projects out there is quite optimistic The biggest and likely the most important difference is the fact that BTCZ is a community coin. No ICO, no dev tax, no premine, etc. It's a community coin. Everyone who helps donates their time. All infrastructure is funded through donations. It's the community building something, not a company which may disappear in 6 months or a year. This is one of those coins which has withstood the test of time. I still remember the days when mining this coin was not as difficult as it is now. Today this coin is accepted as part of trading in almost every exchange. The price currently is in red but soon this coin is going to rise and shine and we all will make some profits for sure. The thing I like about Doge is, instant transactions, low transaction fees, unlike BTC.
Yes and also from the perspective of maintaining a node, Doge is much better than Ethereum because the bloated ETH chain grows at 20+ GB per month while Doge's blockchain is just 26 GB in total. Another example of the more compact and efficient nature of Dogecoin. You are right of course but you should also keep in mind that Ethereum is doing something completely different. DOGE isn't about decentralized applications. It's not surprising that Ethereum has a much larger blockchain than DOGE. DOGE is good at what it is doing, but it couldn't even do at all what Ethereum is doing. Hard to compare the two, doesn't really make sense. |

Well, I lost count, but I think I'm 0/10 on my attempts to purchase Hextra. How ridiculous. I've already warned people to stay away from this coin but since the window just closed, allow me to vent. This time the page never even loaded. As the countdown happened everything was just fine, but the second it hit zero, I hit refresh and the page never loaded. It's now 4-minutes past and the page still hasn't loaded. Worst... ICO... Ever.
There are plenty of Tips in this thread about how to get the coin. I posted some earlier, but got attacked for it. because he attacks other members who have different opinions than himself. #1, There is no Hextra coin responses here, they are hiding. #2, There is no block chain or wallet or opensource code to inspect #3, There was no whitepaper until people complained about it and is more of a road map than a white paper. #4, They lock your BTC until you buy 50HXT (which you cant) read my previous math on previous posts, to ensure they scam the BTG for themselves, also creating artificial hype, ensuring little children want it more because they cant get it (fear of missing out), Then when they claim they sold you a coin (no block chain, No wallet, No opensource code, no proof but a number on a screen), this is when people like kenmasters34 determins that everything is real, and tries to convince that people can get it, just lock your BTC into their wallet. #5, The preferred customer list... certain accounts can buy daily but others can never buy #6, If there are so many people wanting this ICO, It will sell out anyways so there is no reason to lock in your BTC. #7, What they show you in your account as a "wallet address" is more likely an account number, not a wallet address on a chain, as a chain does not exist. #8, Nova exchange denies listing Hextra, contradicting Hextra claims. #9, does there really need to be another reason? If a coin is a good medium for digital currency transfers between exchanges, then that means there is a lot of liquidity for that coin. A lot of liquidity requires a lot of interest in the coin. Since this coin isn't a pegged coin, most likely a lot of interest also leads to a price increase. Where is that now FUD? Sorry dude, but it isn't.
