1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 14, 2019, 09:05:24 AM
Try Blocknet and BlockDX
https://blocknet.co/

They have had a fully functional DEX running for months. I use it all the time.
https://blockdx.co/trade-history

Atomic swaps wallet to wallet, no KYC, automated setup, fully decentralized.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized vs centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, which one is better? on: February 14, 2019, 11:45:34 AM
The next generations of DEX platforms need to develop solutions to the problems that have constrained their predecessors. First, the main problem is liquidity. Users should know that if they want to buy or sell some currency, then at the other end there will always be someone who is willing to trade with them.

Finally, it is very important that decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges offer a simple and convenient user interface. Earlier DEX was a platform developed by experienced users for other experienced users. If decentralized exchanges want to develop, then they should make a user-friendly interface even for beginners that will be no worse than Binance or Bittrex.

The Blocknet has already solved both these issues. First by making its decentralized orderbook available over API, so that exchanges can share liquidity. Second by putting development into an application that looks/feels enough like a traditional CEX with an automated installation/setup process.

Also the fees are currently really low. I think takers are paying a set 0.015 Block for a trade right now.

Come try BlockDX on Blocknet. Links are in my sig

Just come trade on BlockDX. You don't have to sign up, no KYC, coins stay in your local wallet, uses a fully decentralized order book, super fast, secure, and looks/feels like a cex

The same consensus is being reached in slack.  I think after the holidays a return to this forum will take place.  Merry Christmas everyone!

Yeah looking forward to 2017. Merry Christmas all.

This is actually exactly what I wanted to suggest.  Seeing as Bittrex allows refund for 48h, the ito hasn't actually ended, and therefore we should still be allowed to buy.

Seeing as it is all about "fairness".

Open the buys and see if this ito fails or succeeds!

Bittrex did what they felt was needed based on outside events which were out of their control and ITO Terms.   So they did the right thing by their customers.

I could now write a book about a multi-exchange ITO process, mostly including what NOT to do.

At this stage, everybody has an option to either exit or stay involved - so in the end it all works out.

basically what it boils down to is you have people who buy to hold and people who buy to trade.  what this refund does is allow all those (I'd say above 50%) who buy to trade, to trade with 0% risk.  The 10% messed it up even further.  People have a hard time not selling there trexx bag back to trex and scooping up Polo's stuff...  I'm not saying it's your guys fault, or theirs, but I do think that Bittrex could stop pretending to understand how to make life fair, and in so doing stop allow more trading loopholes..

Keep up the good work though.  Even if we all go broke, what you produce could outlive us all.

i heard bittrex is putting a buywall up for block. is this happening for all the exchanges or are they the only one? and what if we bought with  another coin? any offical info on all this?

The 48 hour buy wall will only be on Bittrex.

After that, the amount of funds raised will be calculated.

It the total is lower that 850 BTC, then all funds will be returned to investors.

We're releasing full details on this today.

Don't even bother engaging that known BlockNet troll.

Yeah it looks like the trolls are trying to manually ddos synechist now.

Bump for response on Multipool as I've XC team in here posting since then.  Still not approved on XC forum to post there.

Once again posting here because main thread os locked AND XC Forum is manually filtering signups so I can't post there even though I've registered(see my aside below the reason for this post).

No payouts on Multipool for a week?

Concerning the forum I think a primary reason why traffic is so low there, especially now that the main thread is locked.  Most people that will go there are people looking to post a question or comment immediately.  They expect to register, but making them wait for manual approval will have a lot of people just saying "fuck it" and not bothering.  If you are going to lock the main thread then take the manual approvals off the forum so people can get in there and talk.  You already have control enough to manage what's posted no need to set roadblocks for people wanting to get involved there.

I've asked Dan about this.

I've also messaged Teka to ask him to approve you.

I'll get back to you on both of these. :-)

So during the drama I feel like I saw two people/coins looking to join the Blocknet.  I have forgotten what one of them was, but the other was roscoin.  So I guess what I'd like to know is, is there any news on new collaborators? Like Xcash, are they still joining?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The full truth behind ShadowCash/Coin trolls and their attacks on other coins. on: November 02, 2014, 08:47:25 PM
THANK YOU to who ever started this thread. I have never read so much truth and honesty about all of these trolls in crypto.

Everything mentioned here, that is not from the trolls is truth.  Soekip was one of the reasons BlackCoin got ruined, it was one of the reasons wiz could no longer promote them, because of people like that.

Longandshort is a full time troll and one of the most digusting people i have ever seen in troll land.

The whole Shadowcon community is ROTTEN to the core, they are a utter disgrace to crypto

and it people and communites full of trolls, like ShadowTrash that will be the downfall of crypto.

So go on, keep on bashing other coins, every post just confirms everything what people are saying here.
Karma is a bitch, because in life what you dish out, you get back ten fold.

So true. They think people will forget. We won't.

And all this shadow fud starts right after the bitcointalk post recruiting trolls for paid fud campaigns...  it is just too obvious.

-I am sorry; I work on the boiler room team for Shadowcash

-I'd never heard of crypto or bitcointalk before last week.

-That's why I'm a newbie account, that I and I don't want my legs broken.

-They offered me $15.00 an hour to join a bunch of guys posting
happy talk and happy pictures to "bitcointalk".

-Wierd group, not the usual Good Fella wannabee types, mix of geeks in fancy suits and
dark looking Romanians.  I thought they were Italian but they got pissed at that. They're
gypsies.  I thought those guys were just in Disney cartoons. Nope.

-They brag how they took out coins called Craigscoin and Litecoindark as practice before getting
serious about attacking more major league coins like XC.

-I work penny stocks which means riding the phone all day.  This is easy.

-But the more I understand the more I dislike this; it is one thing
to talk money away from stupid retirees, lonely fat chicks with cats, etc. and another to steal
kids college funds

-I'm no angel, we all were given a good supply of Shadowcash.  When they come out
of the back office and give the the dump signal we'll push the button.

-It looks more real that way because they gave us wierd random amounts.

-I'm basically rich now with the free coin they gave me so if it dumps down or dumps
later I'm good.  There's only so much top classy whores and champagne your body can
absorb per night.  Been there done that in the 80s. That was real Wolf of Wall Street stuff, not
this BS.

-Take it for what you will but if you want the fun stuff better get out now.

-It doesn't hurt me, the bosses will either tell us to dump or follow along right away if
there's a panic.

-I win either way, just passing on the word.

-Don't worry about the "cheap coins" thing.  When they dump this thing, they're done, gonzo.
Cheap will stay cheap till Bittrex delists.

-There going to go apeshit trying to figure out who did this; love doing this kind of thing!

-Here's some happy words from the whiteboard we have we're supposed to drop into posts.

1.) All the developments being tossed out on a daily basis

2.) I haven't bought any yet and wondering if I should?

3.) I have just grabbed a bunch of these as well, hope its not to late.

4.) Awesome to see when no one wants to sell.  Don't see that too often.

5.) These devs have a conscience and have created this coin for the right reasons.

6.) Do have a very strong feeling the coin will go much higher

7.) What made this coin so different from the rest so far that it only goes up and not down.

8.) This dev team rocks. It's been non stop release or news daily.

9.) Shadowcash goes all time high. I sold some at peak and rebuying now again!

-There's a another guy in-charge of finding moon pics, pics of money, stuff like that.

Hi all

To clarify our plan of action regarding this FUD campaign:

We give it no credit.‏

It does not deserve a response beyond the single statement I made yesterday.‏

Nor do we intend to allow it to slow down our work. We do not feel it justifies any further time or energy, and so there is no reason to clarify matters regarding claims made about XC, the Blocknet, or Dan.

We're done with it. We're moving on with development.‏

Any further responses are likely to simply be re-quotes of this comment and yesterday's statement.
Please do the same if you think that giving FUD credit has no warrant.

Well since the conversation was very concerning and Prometheus admitted to taking part in it, I think we deserve to know if he is involved in Blocknet's affairs or in anyway connected to Dan.

Simply ignoring it won't make it go away.

Have you not seen the latest one?

Dan = Prometheus https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=841525.0

I tell you what, If this fud somehow turns out to be true this is the most epic scam ever!

If its all fake, its the most epic FUD campaign ever!

Im still sticking with my gut that its FUD. theres about 10 threads claiming scam now!

Superdan, trolls all day, codes all night.

i'm still supporting blocknet and i think it's way more superior than the scam supernet but the only one problem i'm not support is the 2500btc, i think it is too much. i also believed they will not able to raise the 2500btc, probably 1000btc at best. i think it's best to return those sell on coingate to their respective participating devs. basically of those 5% of each coins which sell over coingate should returning to their developer.

I can't make much sense of your post but the minimum threshold for the project to go ahead is 850BTC which has already been achieved. In fact I'd wager that 1000BTC has been surpassed as well.

what i try to say is those 20% sells of participating coins over coingate should return to their respective dev for each coins. if you still don't get this then i think you're dumb.

I see you removed the part where you said you don't think it is fair that Dan gets all the money... Maybe then you have realized that he doesn't get all the money, all the devs share the money in their capacity to jointly develop the blocknet.

i have remove nothing. all participating coins should get something, i think it's best to return the 20% at coingate to them.

yeah I must have been seeing things then, that is more likely than a runaway troll in a forum...
please.
ignore.
