Just found this on the hodl coin thread. https://github.com/Optiminer/hodlminer-wolfThe miner should apparently give around double the hashrate of most other hodl miners. As far as I can tell there is no compiled version released yet. Of course you should always be cautious about 3rd party software but I havent seen any complaints on the hodl thread. if its on github, everybody can check it, thats why i use opensource software, you can consider it, to be very likely clean. Thank you very much i will clone it, will test it and keep an eye on their development. So we are able to provide always the freshest version. thank you for telling Matthias .

interesting focus on POS communities first (most likely to utilize chat or perhaps an API dashboard feature) sure a few POW will join too
POW? POS? What happen when an altcoin finished its mining stage? What happen here could be the missing links and the answers for any altcoins, (including those altcoins in that stage, wishing to stay viable). Hope the works here will get into gear soon. Thank you very much i think you are right. It in my opinion, its whats missing, to make Altcoins, to be one single market. We are already working,. For now mainly on building the Company, that will provide funding and will hire new developers. The company wants to build some solutions upon Federated Blockchains and therefore is interested in the progress of the project. Everything is moving smooth, but to be clear, this project will not finish in a few month, it can easily need a year to release its first version.

I just made 2 swaps... and on my end they look very nice. My ERC v3 is "EuropeCoin Core version v3.0.1.0-93d7168-dirty (64-bit)" on linux (64 bit) compiled from source (with some "kung-fu" -- please, have a thought for penguins too). I can't wait to see the v3 balance tomorrow... Have fun witch "kung Fu" did you use? I didn't manage compiling and i am running the windows version on wine on Kubuntu lol have fun Matthias .

I decided to 'cheat'. I opened/synced new wallet, and generated a new deposit address. I copied this down somewhere. I then renamed the appdata folder and synced the old wallet. I went to the swap tool, and followed the instructions given. However, when I went to the old wallet to send the old ERCs, I discovered a new problem. The balance in my wallet is correctly stated on the Overview page. At the Send Coins page the balance is stated as Zero!! I thought this might be a minor bug, so i tried sending my actual balance anyway. It did not work, as I got the message "The amount exceeds your balance". This, despite me leaving off the last few ERCs to keep the sending amount below my balance. I would really appreciate some help here. i think the coins are about to mature from staking or are preparing to start staking try to start it by adding -staking=no to my conmmand and then wait until they got matured, to return to the "spendable" line. This can last up to three days. have fun Matthias

@ Dev-teamGood afternoon! I need a bit more help with the coin-swap. I have the correct version of the old wallet (2.0.3.0) fully synced and backed-up. I have downloaded the new wallet and got it to sync. However, I had to change the appdata folder name when installing/syncing the new wallet, as I cannot get the shortcut to accept the -choosedatadir extension. Consequently, I am unable to run both wallets together. When I insert -choosedatadir (into ERC V.3 shortcut, 'Properties', 'Shortcut', 'Target') I get the message : "The name specified in the Target is not valid. Make sure path and file name are correct" They ARE correct. Any advice? You have windows? and which version? i am using this start command and it work for me (i am running it in wine, a windows layer on linux) coin-qt.exe -datadir=⁄home⁄hwr⁄.europecoinv3 -discover -ll -seednode hope that helps Matthias .

Looking forward to see the new road map. I havent been following the project for that long but I am very impressed with the work you guys put into it.
Cooool i simply love, seeing early users back here :-) have you been knowing, that we took over? Or is this info new for you to? When did you stop monitoring? You will see, that nearly all first timers, are back again and active. to make sure you know: this is our website: http://www.europecoin.eu.orgyou will also find missionstatement, whitepaper and and one sheet overview of our eccosystem in the downloads area. enjoy, if you are having question , ask anytime Matthias Sorry if I wasnt clear. I am quite new here. I first noticed ERC around the time the swap was decided upon. ERC had both active devs and a good plan which are some of the most important things I am looking for in a project. So I picked up a handful of cheap ERC V2 which turned out to be a very good deal. Ah thats great we are continuing to grow, you came in, at a perfect moment. We are a coin, that was foundet 2014 and has been a scam. After the dev vanished, it was dead nearly half a year, then we came and rebooted the network for takeover we are ~14 Month up and running again.
Though we did a lot, the old walled, with all those bugs, kept us running partly for nothing else, then survival. And now we finally left that behind, watch our new whitepaper to come out (i am already one day later as i planned). But i am putting plenty of efford into it, to make it possible to understand for anybody.
here is a small preview from the new whitepaper, its a view of our eccosystem, ~2/3 is already existing working:

Thanks Matt, Meta and Chris. Very impressive execution!
Thank you, Woody, very kind. Like always
Some general "whats next":Given this project has been driven by having a plan, but not being shy, to catch opportunities and quickly adapt (in case of community consensus), we established the tradition, to publish regular upgrades of our roadmap and also from time to time rewrite it entirely.
While trying to write an upgrade, today, I realized: "O.K. there changed a lot" So i am writing a new one. Also, if i am telling our history (to update new users), the document is getting (as did the last one) fragmented and difficult to understand. Nobody new, has a chance to wrap his mind around the huge amount of stuff. Therefore i decided to split our Roadmap in two different Papers and will also clean up our Mission statement: Our regular reporting will then have three documents, instead of two, that will be, as always, updated in a rotating cycle
1) The Roadmap: A "whats at stake", providing a clean representation of next actions and where these actions are supposed to lead to (short time goals)
2) (NEW) The Summary Report: a historic "what has happend" how did we get here, what have we learned
3) Mission Statement: the cause and long-term goals of Europecoin and in witch way, the Roadmap is related to these goals.
Its important, that we are getting better and better in explaining our work, to give users a glimpse, what's our Goal and a chance to see a line in all those actions, that are going on.
Projects with a holistic approach are very quickly looking just random for new users. I am beginning with the Roadmap, planning, to release it tomorrow, because i want to use the fresh attention, to educate as many users as possible about us.
Have fun Matthias

Hi Chris and Matthias, Like I said in my post I am not concerned about the honesty in the dev team and I that is why I said lost with double quotes. And I am also not asking for individuals (be it one of the devs or the community members) to sign their personal wallets. My concern is just the SWAP address and eventually the exchanges addresses since they usually contain a lot of coins which can scare people out. Nuno No worry, this is also, how i understood you , the rest of my answer have been just random thoughts and wasn't directly related to your question or intented of educating you or somebody else. Everything fine ...
B.t.w. isn't Bittrex looking nice? The fact, its still keeping up in that way since a week now, is a VERY good sign. A pump or a single buyer would look quite different. I counted about way over 40000$ on capital inflow for now. Future is bright
have even more fun Matthias

I know the ball is already rolling, but it is too bad that the poll had the option of voting for the feature we want through multi-selection or by a weighted order (ie. the more important features get more counts). Or it may be a better option to start a new thread dedicated to discussing the possibilities of new features. We are currently in a mess of possible features, and this is not the only forum I am reading or the only coin I am following, so I am forgetting where things are without going back and rereading 3 pages of posts. Too bad this project does not have a website at your disposal to list out the options and more details to the specifics of the choices... (sarcasm... I think...) There could be pretty graphs based on models and actual math to show the pro and cons of each choice and their effects on the growth in coin and value. I am already asked to make one, i would have some time to do so in about a week (or less). As soon as our swap is done and my Roadmap update is out i can have a conversation with vegas to get a feeling about his Needs.. here some examples i did: For Customer: http://www.automotives-keim.deFor crypto: http://www.europecoin.eu.orghttp://www.federatedblockchains.eu.orghttp://www.bitsend.infohave fun Matthias .

worth mentioning that creating a brand new address isn't a requirement for making a term deposit. Saw earlier that someone asked about "special address" for deposits, and I'd like to clarify that the address itself has no special properties on the blockchain, it is just an address like all others. Term deposits can be made for any valid ERCv3 address and addresses can contain a mix of term deposit and normal transactions.
MATT, look, I love our community, how they educate each other. I LOVE IT...I HAVE MY DAYS TODAY.... Fuzzbawls, pm me an addy, to get u rewarded for this good input. I decided to follow this topic as ERC has integrated systems/code that I wrote or contributed to from HODL, and there is bound to be similar confusions regarding term deposits and the like. Cool, in my opinion one of the brightest pieces of code this year. I am sure it will have a great impact for altcoins and will get a very popular approach. Do you like our variant? Our distribution model is quite different. You should have a conversation with Chris, he did the programming, i am sure you both are able to exchange some know-how. How about Europecoins,? do you have some? I can send you some, if I can have a wallet number from you. By the way: have you had a look into our little side project "Federated Blockchains"? We are just about to get some funding, to support developers and we are about to organize the Teams: url (there is a social projectmanagement under the hood, you are welcome to explore everything): http://www.federatedblockchains.eu.orgThread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1456407.0have fun Matthias .
