121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About EOS on: April 27, 2022, 06:34:59 AM
Someone needs to come to EOS rescue, this project was once an ETH killer and I am surprised it performing very bad for years now, Dan Larimer leaving the project doesn't mean it's the end, there are projects like that and they are still well managed when a popular dev takes his or her leave, EOS should be beside the likes of Polkadot and Matic today.
122  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think top exchange listing news should be hidden on: April 26, 2022, 07:16:27 AM
I'd rather stay away because its obvious that Binance isn't even aware, there was a project that did this last year and the get listed on LATOKEN  Grin saying binance listing is still coming and today this project had almost Zero volume, stay away from any project that promise Binance listing.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hiveon pool users your assistance is needed on: April 26, 2022, 07:12:17 AM
Screw HiveOS or SMOS. Minerstat is far superior. The monthly fee is reasonable and includes bulk discounts. Minerstat has good profit switching / dual mining support as well, not to mention rich APIs. I'm not a paid shill; I've used Minerstat for months on multiple rigs.
This sounds like the kind of review im looking for on Minerstat OS, other OS lacks good profit switching and even Nicehash has this feature, I wonder why HiveOS dont have this, I already download the latest Minerstat OS but yet to flash it to USB and try it out.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stay away from coinsbit on: April 25, 2022, 08:12:22 AM
Apart from dumping a token thats not listed on any other exchanges I dont see reasons why anyone should be using coinsbit exchange either for trading or selling popular coins, you will surely run into many issues and frustration, if low rated exchange is your thing then use Bitmart and Bitglobal.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1GH Ethash using 2500 watt on: April 25, 2022, 06:51:22 AM
If you can mod A2000 RTX you can get 50MH out of them, RedPandaMining have showcase a 8x A2000 mining rig that gives 400MH, having 20 of these card will give you 1GH easy, the modding isn't even hard to do, the tutor is on YouTube, follow RedPanda Mining.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Ever heard of Elsa gpus before? on: April 24, 2022, 06:50:15 AM
Have anyone heard about ELSA graphic cards before? If yes how good are they? My agent that sources graphic cards for me send me a secured 1660s that look like the picture below and to me this looks like an OEM gpu, I am trying to avoid any bad built graphic cards.

127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Guys! Got some questions about crypto mining on: April 24, 2022, 06:41:22 AM
Once ETH goes POS graphic cards will be cheaper, if you aren't in the train of ordering new graphic cards I suggest you hold your horses for now, we can say that the merge may never happen and later it happened, I already bought all the GPUs I need and still sourcing for very few ones because I am in this for a long term.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Trying copper plates for cooling but needed help with a tool on: April 21, 2022, 12:10:02 PM

129  Other / Beginners & Help / What's in for crypto wallet companies? on: April 21, 2022, 06:47:41 AM
Hi everyone, good day, I am just curious and I have a question in my mind today, nothing comes for free as we all know it, developers create crypto projects to solve the issues available in the crypto world today and also make money out of it but what about wallet devs? Few new wallets are showing up without having their tokens out of the box, my question is how are they making money? From gas fee? Or something else? No one works for free so I am thinking there must be a way they are making money.
130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Cannot Find Any Currency Exchange Where I Am Legitimate on: April 20, 2022, 09:34:46 AM
There are many exchanges that don't care about where you are from and they won't force KYC verification on you but they have daily limits like 1BTC or 2BTC, let's start from Kucoin and BKEX, you need a list? Here you go

1. CoinEX
2. Probit
3. Pancake swap
4. Para swap
5. Gate.io
6. Okex
7. BigOne
8. Huobi
9. Bithumb
10. MXC
131  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Trying to have my first bite of Asic miners, so excited on: April 20, 2022, 07:10:28 AM
I don't really understand why you bought solar panels... usually, the payback period on the actual ASICs is much faster than on solar arrays. What's the grid power cost in your area?

Personally, I think GPU mining will be alive until the end of the year. ETH PoS has been delayed to Q3 at the earliest. GPU returns are much higher than ASICs.

I was thinking of getting into ASIC mining, too, until I realized I would have to rent a small warehouse. Even then, the 100-150 kW of power capacity would only be enough to run 30-40 T19's. It would take 4-6 months to have the utility upgrade the power supply to 500 kW, and that could cost tens of thousands of dollars.

So now I'm considering trying to start it as a GPU warehouse, then converting to ASIC right before PoS. I have much more experience in GPU mining after all.
I don't have a choice, in my country Grid power is not reliable, im talking about 4 hours of Grid power per day, this is discouraging for crypto miners like myself, the only option is building a solar panel which cost me some money, 3.5KV inverter and 12 pieces of 250watt panel with 4 pieces of. 220AH batteries. This is my power source for my ETH farm but now I've get 400watt panels to expand my farm for asic.
132  Bitcoin / Mining / Trying to have my first bite of Asic miners, so excited on: April 19, 2022, 11:42:56 AM
For the first time in my life, I've finally made peace with Asic Miners, I always hate this piece of hardware for one reason, power consumption simply because im running my ETH mining rig on solar panels but I find out that my hate was all because I don't have extra power or solar panel to power Asic miners, now I made enough $$$ from crypto trading and I've ordered for more 400watt monocrystalline panels just for Asic mining only, what is the best Asic miners that I can buy for solar panels? I am hoping I can find something that uses 1200watt to 2300watt only unless the Hashrate is bigger, thank you
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: High temp on mobo heat sinks on: April 19, 2022, 07:29:46 AM
There is even a more effective solution to this because this problem isn't affecting small numbers of people, your motherboard is higher-end old AMD motherboard so its worth spending extra dollar on,  do you know that there are heat sinks built specifically for North Bridge temp? Check this out

They works beautifully, you can also add a fan.
This is a masterpiece 👍 I never knew something like this exists until now, hope it's not scarce to get from online stores, I try to always avoid AMD motherboards at all cost unless they are the latest Ryzen CPU motherboards, I've also never seen where an intel motherboard have a heat issue on its North Bridge and South Bridge parts.
134  Economy / Exchanges / Re: About my safety on exchange on: April 18, 2022, 06:39:28 AM
I'm curious which exchange you are even talking about, it's always wise to share full details newbie because there are also fake exchanges out there, some might even aim for your identity data or scam you once you make deposits on them.

I can't guarantee you that your data will be safe in the hands of even top crypto exchanges, if thats your fear then do not try passing KYC verifications, whatever an exchange plans to do with our identifications will never see the light of the day, to stay safe use localbitcoins or hodlhodl.

135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: April 18, 2022, 06:34:32 AM
This question is for those that are here when bear market of 2018 stormed the crypto space, how doesn't it feel like? All those staking for perceive income makes sense at all? Or returns went so bad and makes staking looks like a bad idea? How does it felt like.

It went down first. Then it went up. Everybody thought the bear market was over and then it went down again. Then it went sideways for a long time. People thought again, the bear market should be over by now and it went down even more. Then it went up and passed the last ATH.

^Basically every bear market there is in history^

I don't think this bear market is going to be an exception.
Isn't this already happening right now? Slowly the bears are gaining power and you can see that BTC loses is strength over time, ETH is back under 3000$, my chart says we are heading for a new bear market but I have confidence because of mass adoption rate, whales and millionaires around the world are taking advantage of every dips, which is a good thing.
136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Professional newbie on: April 17, 2022, 08:55:51 AM
I wish we had many more newbies who are just new and unfamiliar with Bitcointalk, but already know their way around Bitcoin. Unfortunately, that's not the case. The majority of them are brand-new to everything and they came here after being told they can make money. No problem with that if they are ready to read and learn. What I don't like to see is posts like I am new, how do I become rich here Huh

We do get the occasional newbie who claims to be here for the first time, but then mentions some drama or even that happened a few years ago. A lurker? Possibly. it's more likely that they have been here before.
Exactly, it's why we keep seeing same old topics over and over again on this forum, but i'm curious about how they came to know about this forum when bitcointalk isn't putting up any banner online or ads, maybe google search?.
137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Professional newbie on: April 17, 2022, 06:07:07 AM
Not all newbies are newbies on this forum, just because someone just created his or her account doesn't mean they have no knowledge about cryptocurrency at all, this shouldn't be an issue unless they break forum rules or try to scam people on here.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will switch to PoS in Q3 2022 on: April 14, 2022, 08:24:19 AM
This sounds more like the Ethereum team that I know, PoS is coming have turned into a joke from the ETH team and devs, I think it's better to leave the Ethereum network the way it is because the Proof of stake algorithm will give birth to new issues as well.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DEBATE] Are meme coins ruining cryptocurrencies? on: April 14, 2022, 05:42:28 AM
Meme coins have been in existence for a long time, they are community backed projects, meme coins aren't the faulty ones here all blame should be on devs that are copying meme coins because of types, if it was something else that Elin musk supported in 2021 many more shit coins will copy it's use case to make money.
140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why beginners should pay attention to their privacy on: April 13, 2022, 06:40:17 AM
Thanks for the advice, but there are many things in this world today that cant be purchased by any crypto and not all businesses allow crypto as means of payment, the reason why our privacy will always get fucked up is Fiat, how will you get away trying to exchange your crypto to Fiat? Someone should please explain this to me.
