141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounties dead? on: April 13, 2022, 05:46:58 AM
Honestly, I'm still new here.also don't know whether the current bounty is still profitable or not when compared to previous years. but for me personally there is an exception only to join project that are managed by a trusted bounty manager.

In my opinion, the current bounty campaigns are junk and worth nothing. most of the projects that launch the bounty program come from junk ICO projects and have no capital to develop the project and they need community attraction, unlike projects sponsored by IDO, IEO others

Choosing projects managed by a trusted manager can reduce your risk of getting scammed but still there is no guarantee that it will give you the return you deserve. Besides participating in bounty campaigns, I think you can refer to testnet, retroacitve. These are the forms that are gradually replacing the old bounty campaigns and have significant profit potential.
I reject your point mister, there are many projects that launched bounties in the past and are big in the market today, they raised a hugh amount of money and nothing stopped them, the trick is choosing the projects wisely, alchemy, cartesi, Ferrum, HEX and so on did bounties in the past, I was so unlucky but my friend joined all and made good rewards.
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2FA confusion on: April 12, 2022, 07:07:29 AM
Forget about 2FA as this belongs to centralized projects anyway, you can only see 2FA on wallets like coinbase wallet and xapo wallet where private keys and recovery seed are kept by the dev not by the users
2FA do not belong to a centralized project, you can use a hardware authenticator or use an app like Aegis which is open source, a wallet can be centralized like Coinbase.com or exchange like Binance, but 2FA should not be referred to as centralized because it is used to protect accounts on a centralized wallet, it can also be used on a noncustodial wallet also for protection, but mostly all noncustodial wallet see it not necessary.

a good open source wallet will never have 2FA security.
If you can read what others have post on this thread, you can noticed that electrum can use 2FA, but this is optional, the fee can not make me use it, but it can further protect you from hackers. Electrum is an open source wallet and one of the best know bitcoin open source wallet.
Google Authentication 2FA belongs to Google, thats a good example of a centralized entity mate, I guess that's why we don't see much 2FA on many crypto wallets this days, I do wish we can use 2FA on trust wallet, its way secured than using fingerprint locks and pin lock.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i market my old clips on: April 12, 2022, 05:45:50 AM
Today’s market is all about buzz and how viral particular art, clip, pics, insta reel or whatever it may be. I have seen the selfie guy who literally became millionaire by just uploading his face since few years. So what can we say about that? Do you really think that there art in it or is it worth NFTing stuff?

The only point when he broke the internet was the time when social media made buzz about it, made it go viral.

These days it’s more or less what can entertain people and investors rather than sophisticated brush strokes on the leather canvas mate!

So simply - Create buzz, media, go viral. (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook could be starting point).
And you think that all these makes sense? A guy taking selfies of himself and selling on opensea for money, like honestly what is going on? Imagine if everyone start doing the same? Who are idiots buying because this is not something that is useful for anyone, no wonder people said the perfect way to embezzle money is through NFTs.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best desktop wallet on: April 11, 2022, 04:18:35 PM
I'm into PC / Desktop wallets than mobile so which Desktop wallet can you recommend to a newbie that supported ERC20 and BNB smart contract thank you.
MEW Pc wallet looks like the best one for your need, this is a desktop wallet thats based on ETH erc20/smart contract and you can also add other chain like BNB smart contract too, it works very well and they have a mobile version but the desktop is better.
145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Via wallet from ViaBTC Group on: April 11, 2022, 06:19:02 AM
Every closed source crypto wallet is bad but I still can't help but trust the binance exchange trust wallet because of who the teams are, the problem is mobile users cant find wallets that are open source and supports multi-chain altcoins too, not everyone depends on ETH and BTC only (Electrum).
146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you know about Guarda wallet on: April 10, 2022, 06:06:03 AM
I don't like Guarda wallet because it feels like a centralized crypto wallet, the interface and design are so bad and rough, there are better options out there than Guarda wallet, Math wallet, Bread wallet, Exodus wallet and a few others but I just want to hear what others think, thanks for all the replies.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best wallet for monero on: April 10, 2022, 05:59:33 AM
I found and download Cake wallet, its a good BTC, ETH and XMR wallet and its just as good as the Electrum wallet, if one don't have the money for a hardware wallet right now cake wallet is your best alternative I think?.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's the best wallet for monero on: April 09, 2022, 05:27:52 PM
After packing a few good altcoins for the long term I'm finally thinking of having one or two privacy coins in my portfolio, I think I should start with Monero since its the most popular privacy coin but I need information about the best wallet for this privacy coin, I know monero have GUI wallet but I don't want to since the whole blockchain data as data is costly in my country..
149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers show no mercy, this is how serious crypto investment has become on: April 08, 2022, 02:15:35 PM
Scammers do exists off the crypto world as well, we are humans and we have greed in us, some know how to tame theirs and many don't know how, crypto or no crypto people will always fall victim to scams offline, greed is just like anger, it can destroy and also reshape, my advice is know when and where to be greedy, it's a dangerous weapon that can go against its wielder.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC needs to taste 50k for altcoins to start performing big again on: April 07, 2022, 08:20:56 AM
A bear market is coming and some YouTubers are already saying a 4000$ ETH is in progress, at this point, I believe that chart reading is inaccurate, however the market is going to play out will remain a mystery, buckle up for any outcome.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Real miners never give up. on: April 07, 2022, 08:16:17 AM
Then why are they not killing it?

I mean, Bitcoin has proved a big headache to several Governments and Big corps that we all think have lots of money since it's inception, and yet they have failed to do anything. Why? Because the truth is that they can't do anything right now.

Like I said before, for "political" reasons, they are not doing anything to it, not only the US, all countries are in the same both. If political reasons is no more then gameover.
@Metroid I wish you are the president of the USA, I would have begged you right now to bring it on, try to kill BTC just to prove me wrong, I think this is a faded dream already, BTC is power to the people not the government.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 06, 2022, 07:12:01 AM
It doesn't look like we will see a bear market soon because the way crypto demand have been performing since 2021 is the biggest since 2012 so I think this bull market will be the longest of them all.
153  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: About TokenPocket Crypto wallet on: April 06, 2022, 05:59:53 AM
Like how many crypto wallets will end up going closed source? Weeks ago metamask took some stupid steps that makes millions of Twitter users start spreading rumours that metamask is now a closed source wallet and fully centralized.. Some countries can't send assets in peace.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Another day, Another Lesson for those who want to learn on: April 05, 2022, 08:48:21 AM
Be careful out there newbies and all crypto fans, a few minutes ago I made a few transactions in BNB from one wallet to another and I got this

I was like, OMG 😱 it's a free APE Tokens, but then one APE is 12$ on binance exchange, how can someone send me 350 pieces for me? That's where I became even more curious, I did some Contract Address findings and I noticed this

As you can see I'm not the only winner of these 350 APE tokens, this is where I started to get angry, saying to myself that why can't it just be only me?  Grin (kidding) Lol, as I proceed in my search I ended up with this website link.

If this isn't a scam what could it be anyway?

The trick is every receiver will try to sell and that's when you will be f**ked up, in this crypto haven nothing comes for free, you have to work your ass up to make some gains and rewards, go after only what you sweat and worked for.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Be Under Pressure To act (Altcoin) on: April 05, 2022, 07:31:05 AM
The year 2022 has been one hell of a year where many altcoins have been on the downtrend and recently the entire cryptocurrency market have faced a lot of pressure from the market, But this week have brought with it some form of relief as the market is beginning to pick even in the face of war and cryptocurrency serving as an alternative means of financial transactions where there are traditional restrictions resulting from the war.
Don't Be under pressure
At this point, the altcoin market is beginning to witness huge traffic from new investors and the recent grave is the NFT Metaverse which has brought with it an entirely new experience, we most are careful and not to be under pressure to act either adding to our assets or letting off some from our bags.
Is there anything that's better than the DCA technic? I don't think so, this is the way forward, it makes no sense to stop investing when the market can improve more in future and it also makes no sense to sell for the fear of what may never happen tomorrow, sell only when you are in profit and buy when there is dips.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin question and answer better option to earn money in crypto on: April 05, 2022, 06:33:15 AM
::)Altcoins are always in the news, should we change our coin according to crypto trends
It's no crime to readjust your portfolio but make sure its worth the change because sometimes a coin you left behind for another will be the one standing so tall in a bull market.
157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are growing in numbers every day on Twitter, be careful out there on: April 04, 2022, 04:33:45 PM
There are too many ways scammers carry out their operations this day, I still can't explain how I lost 100$ worth of tokens on my old wallet that I created back in 2017, it was the first and I used it for airdrops a lot too, I dont know how I ended up leaking my recovery seed till date.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Right or Wrong. on: April 04, 2022, 04:23:15 PM
I think it's the ordinary 1660 not the super because the Super 1660 gives 30-31MH and two is 62MH but OP description is lesser , 1660 don't consume 70watt from the wall, I have one here it's Galax 1660 none super it uses 45watt in trex miner with absolute core clock and it takes 55watt from the wall, I'm guessing this is what they called silicon lottery?

160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to have 5, 12 or even more coins? on: April 04, 2022, 04:36:26 AM
It's easier to monitor 5 different altcoins than 12 and it costs less to invest in 5 altcoins, for example, I only invest 100$ on any new altcoins to lower my risk, this is the amount that I can afford to lose if anything goes wrong, 200$ and more is only for old popular altcoins.
