Today Antalyaspor disappointed me. They got the lead with Haji Wright and I was so sure about they won the game but after 54th minute they conceded four goals and got a shocking loss. Honestly Gaziantep FK started the season great and we should give their credit. Nobody expected such a start from them. I don't know how can they sustain this success though.

Başakşehir and Fiorentina should qualify without any problem in Group A. West Ham is already favorite of the tournament right now, I see Steaua and Anderlecht have similar chances in Group B. Villarreal is another favorite for me. Second place for this group is open for all teams but Villarreal probably finish it first. Partizan, Cologne and Nice will fight for two places, as I watched Slovacko games I don't think they have any chance.
For Group E AZ Alkmaar is by far the favorite but other clubs have same level. Group F is also another balanced group. Sivasspor got bad results this year, I don't see they qualify from this group, Slavia Prag and Cluj will go to next stage. Basel and Bratislava are favorites in Group H. I don't see much surprises here.
After Group stage we may see better matches as I don't see big interest to these games besides fans of these teams.

Lazio played better from start to finish. First half was more balanced but Lazio took whole control of the game in second half. Luis Alberto's goal was fantastic. He and Pedro changed the flow of the game. Great substitutions by Sarri. Inter tried a lot of shots but their dangerous positions were lower than Lazio's. Lautaro Martinez was good but Lukaku couldn't do much in this game.
Seven points in three games look good for Lazio. Especially when they beat Inter. Napoli and Roma can still pass them though if they win their matches. Lazio probably won't finish the week as leader.

Under normal circumstances both Turkish teams should qualify from group stage but they get mixed results so I don't really trust them.
I don't see any groups that look like Champions League either. There are teams in Champions League caliber but they are not in same group. If you say Arsenal and PSV in Group A they should qualify together. Manchester United and Real Sociedad in Group E can go to next stage together. Other than these two groups I don't see more than one team as favorite. Average teams and average groups, better ones will go to next stage. The real competition start when teams from Champions League fall off to Europa League. I won't be surprised if all first seed teams qualify to next round, even in first place.

Having an office job is less risky and it gives a good comfort zone. You can retire working 9-5 until you fulfill your 20 or something year requirement but in the end you don't get rich and you live a standard life. Entrepreneurship means you go out of your comfort zone and take risks, in result you can get your reward and make money or you may bankrupt, depends on your choices. If you don't have capital it's hard to become an entrepreneur, so you may have to do some office job before growing your own business. Both have ups and downs, no matter which one you choose you gotta give your best. It's not only about making money but reputation and environment.

Manchester City, PSG and Liverpool's groups are nowhere near "easy", I don't know how you follow football. Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund are contenders for Manchester City. Ajax and Napoli are though opponents for Liverpool. Juventus and Benfica are big clubs and always play in this league. These groups have three big teams and one relatively small team. Only easy draw was for Real Madrid because there is no two clubs that can push Real there. Other teams will play with big teams in Europe. Even though they are favorites they didn't pick easy draw.
Viktoria Plzen have no claim in this league anyway, even if they get one point that would be success for them. Same goes for Maccabi Haifa and Copenhagen.

It's time for second leg, Başakşehir have to win this game as they made heavy investment to the team again. If they can't play in Europe then all of these investment will be gone for nothing. Bertrand Traore, Mesut Özil, Mounir Chouiar, Leo Duarte, Lucas Biglia, Patryk Szysz and Francis Nzaba came to Başakşehir. When you make these kind of transfers you have to play in both leagues. If it's only for local league that means Başakşehir will be in a huge loss.
Royal Antwerp is a though opponent but Başakşehir has way better squad. I hope they won't fail this time. Stop Frey again and don't let any set ball to be dangerous, that should be the formula tonight.

I would rule out these rumors as Galatasaray already spent huge amount of money without European cup participation and they have too many attackers. That would be wrong both financially and squad engineering wise. Hazard is a big name but he fell off so hard, there is only his name left. Don't expect any big performance from him in any team.

Beşiktaş brought Dele Alli last night. That's what I call a good move. Low cost and good deal, one year loan and 6 million Euro if buy in Winter window, 8 million Euro in Summer buyout fee. Now it's up to him to meet expectations. Whether he gets a good contract here or in another league, but he really needs to do something to resurrect his career.

I wish Sivasspor win today but it's nearly impossible. Although Malmö FF is not a fancy team, Sivasspor is lower quality. Their squad in previous season was better. They lost too many players and didn't buy enough new players. Last player they lost was Kerem Atakan Kesgin to Beşiktaş. He played in midfield regularly last season. Because they conceded three goals in first game they have to get two goals lead and try for extra time. That's possible but very unlikely. Gradel and Yatabare need to do extra work because they need a miracle tonight.

It looks like Kevin Durant stays in Brooklyn. I don't think he can give his %100 to this team as he wants Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks to leave but they are also staying. It's hard to work with people you don't get along well with. On the other hand, it's quite normal that other teams cannot get him when he has such a loaded contract. If Kyrie also stays then no rebuilding for Nets this season. They have to do their best to reach higher places in play-offs, maybe one last time.

Let's be real, Dynamo Kiev have absolutely zero chance against Benfica in Portugal. They need to win with three goal difference, which is almost impossible. It's not even %1 chance, but lower. Benfica will probably get another win today at home and qualify to Champions League again. If Dynamo Kiev played in Ukrainian league as usual I'd say they have a low chance but under these circumstances they have zero chance. I see their league will start next week, Dynamo Kiev can try their chance in local league. They are nowhere near ready for European competitions.

They are different kind of players so that comparison don't look normal to me. Neymar may be more talented but Mbappe is definitely more hard working player. Neymar is in his thirties and he already said he got bored of football, still he produces great results in games.
Mbappe made hat-trick, Neymar scored two and Messi also scored a goal, it looks like these trio try to scoop up goal and assist statistics.

It looks like Ghezzal won't play, he has slight injury but they don't want to risk it. We will see both Muleka and N'Koudou in wings. N'Koudou can play in right wing even though he's a natural left winger. I don't know about under 3 goals bet, Pirlo only managed one game and there were six goals. Beşiktaş is also very productive when they find first goal fast. It's possible to go over 3 goals just like last week.
It will be interesting to see Gedson - Salih - Berkay midfield. I'm sure nobody think about that midfield in early Summer but when Josef and Atiba is unavailable and Emirhan is gone we see Berkay here as a regular. He can show himself today and get the jersey until Josef come back. Kartal is another choice but I don't think he's strong enough to get more playing time.

I don't know what to say, is it because Chelsea bad or unlucky, or is it Leeds United really good? I guess it's the latter. That's true, it didn't start this season, they were on a rise since second part of last season. They needed a great striker and bought Jesus. He was like a missing piece of the puzzle after Lacazette and Aubameyang gone. Arteta found ideal squad and this may go on if no injuries happen.
They used fixture advantage. I expected three wins in a row and that happened. Their next two games are also relatively easy. Then they will play with Manchester United which is in chaos already. This winning series can go on much longer.

The game finished just how I expected. Antalyaspor won the game and let Trabzonspor taste the loss for the first time this season. Actually Trabzonspor made a comeback with their new transfer Enis Bardhi but Antalyaspor got the control again with Gökdeniz Bayrakdar move. In extra time extra things happened. Haji Wright created his second goal alone. Nuri Şahin studied well, he made great counter moves against Abdullah Avcı. It's a well deserved three points for Antalyaspor.
