921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 29, 2022, 02:14:07 PM
This youngin' Kvaratskhelia is something else. Two assists and a goal already in first half for Napoli. Kvaratskhelia's goal-asist/match ratio is more than one, that's crazy. He was one of my favorite wonderkids in FM, it's nice to see he became a great player in Serie A after Rubin Kazan days. I don't think Napoli can hold him for long, we may see another record breaking transfer next season.
We may say Osimhen is the new Amokachi. He scores goals consistently, today another two in first half and he's on another hat-trick run. If Napoli become champion this season these two guys have the biggest credit.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 29, 2022, 01:52:45 PM
Staking is the best strategy while waiting for the rising market, I'm also staking a lot of coins at Dex and Spot Exchanges and the results in my opinion are satisfying, today the market looks rising and hoping to continue until it can reach a position like the end of 2021 or a year ago.

Not really, unless you stake with stablecoins. Staking altcoins usually give %2 to 10 if they are not scam, so instead of waiting this for one year you may trade only one time and make more money than that staking reward. I know there are a lot of projects that give %60 to 200 yearly but that is not sustainable. You may buy that coin and make more than %60 in that altcoin but at the same time you may witness that coin lose value in that time frame for more than that. So in reality you have 160 x coin instead of 100 but its dollar value is less than when you bought it.

I prefer to be patient and wait for the best time to trade. There is no magic stick where you put your money and it multiply when you touch. You have to take responsibility and do some trades. It won't work everytime but with less trades and realistic targets at the right time will make your portfolio richer in long time.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exactly did Elon want to buy Twitter? on: October 28, 2022, 09:58:04 PM
He definitely has a plan, considering he's making such a heavy investment. Although Twitter is about to die from underutilization in some countries, it's still quite popular in some countries. I think he didn't buy Twitter because he was directly interested in its income, he wanted to buy it because of the influence it created. Never before have we witnessed a social media site ban the American president and look so strong.
I don't think he ever intends to make Twitter decentralized. I don't think this purchase has anything to do with Trump's ban, at least directly, either. Since it's a platform that directs the masses, it seems normal to me that he wants to control it. After all, as the richest person in the world, it wouldn't hurt to pay extra when he could afford to buy such a thing. Building such a platform from scratch and reaching this number of users wouldn't be easy. We will see the effects of this buy in the coming years.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: October 28, 2022, 09:48:37 PM
I had the opportunity to work remotely during the pandemic period. If this question had been asked to me earlier, my answer would have been that I would prefer to work at the workplace. But once you experience it, you realize that even going to work is a waste of time. Because there are too many alternatives other than the work done at the workplace, and this distracts you from work. Being away from work while at work. It's ironic, but true. Working from home, you can be fully focused and use your time more efficiently. I think working remotely increases productivity. I have experienced and seen.

Actually this heavily depends on what you do remotely. There are various jobs you can do on remote and some of them really don't need any travel, while some may be more efficient at office or workplace rather than staying at home in PC.
Personally I would prefer remote work but that's because my work is really venue-independent. I agree OP's points, you have to create the right working space even if you work remote. Setup a clean and quiet place to work, change your clothes even if it doesn't necessarily mean that you wear suit at home, organize your time and use it effectively. That way you don't have much trouble working remotely. Considering wasting too much time and money on travel, you may spend these time and money wiser.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 28, 2022, 09:28:39 PM
I stand to be corrected, but Leicester City might go back to Championship.

I don't think that would happen but it's a reality Leicester is and will have struggle more this season. Against Manchester City they have no chance, they also know that. Their target games are different. Just like their last three games which they collected seven points, they should get more points from similar level teams. It would be a big bonus if they get any point against Manchester City, but as I said that isn't necessary as long as they beat their real opponents.

Manchester City failed to score against Borussia Dortmund but in Premier League games they don't have that problem. They scored in all games except that Liverpool game. I expect another multi goal win by City, possibly three. So over 2.5 goals bet is another choice along with one goal handicap City win. If Pep don't risk Haaland then we might see less goals, but still there are plenty of great feet in City that can score and carry the goal load.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 28, 2022, 09:09:31 PM
Metaverse may indeed occupy an important place in the future, but we should admit that the projects emerging as Metaverse right now, unfortunately don't bring any technological innovations and most of them are created by developers who want to make quick money. I have examined many projects under the name of Metaverse in depth.
There are big companies that are doing serious work on Metaverse, but we are still in a very early stage right now. I don't see a promising project emerging yet. If there's going to be a Metaverse project that will dominate the market in the next 20 years, it hasn't been developed yet.
I advise you to be aware of this and invest accordingly. Everyone is looking for the next gem, but that gem may not be here yet.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: October 28, 2022, 08:42:52 PM
Şenol Güneş is officially back. He signed 1.5 years contract which is reasonable. He has credit for this season but Beşiktaş need to win the title next season at most. The squad is good enough to fight for the title. I'm patiently waiting for the first match to see how things changed in a short time frame.
Today Galatasaray won after three games. Early red card blew Fatih Karagümrük's chances in this game, they had to do defense all game long. If it goes 11v11 I don't think Galatasaray would get this result, red card helped Okan Buruk pretty much. Now Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe need to win their matches no matter what. Considering opponents I don't think they'll face any serious problems though.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2022/23 Season on: October 27, 2022, 09:11:14 PM
Başakşehir lost the game but they are still in first place. Danijel Aleksic scored again, he's playing wonderful in European competitions. Başakşehir got the lead but couldn't hold on to that score. Fiorentina made a comeback with Luka Jovic. Now the last gameday will be the decider. Başakşehir has the leverage because of first game which was 3-0 win for them. Normally everybody expect Fiorentina to advance from this group but Başakşehir performed really good in first four games. This loss may be a huge blow for them if they can't beat Hearts in last match.

What a shame for Trabzonspor, they should've performed better against these opponents. Crvena Zvezda loss in away is not much surprising but they could've gotten at least one point here and bring their hopes in last gameday. Now they'll possibly play for Conference League play-off. We may see them here after group stage. I wouldn't say no to that as their capacity is good enough for this tournament.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: October 27, 2022, 03:05:34 PM
I see Union Saint-Gilloise win odds are over 1.70 so that may be the value bet. Union Saint-Gilloise is group leader with ten points, they are unbeaten in four games. Malmö FF is in last place with no points, they lost four games in a row. Even though Malmö FF is one of the oldest clubs in Sweden their current season is a big mess. They are in seventh place in Allsvenskan and very far away from championship race. They have no aim in any of the leagues this season so I don't see anything that get players motivate. On the other hand Union Saint-Gilloise want to win this game and guarantee leadership before last games. Otherwise Braga or Union Berlin may be a threat to them. For these various reasons I'll take Union Saint-Gilloise win bet.
930  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is a creeping beast on: October 26, 2022, 09:39:41 PM
There has always been and always will be inflation. There will also be economic crisis in certain periods. Sometimes it will be local, sometimes it will be universal.
From the state's point of view, the solution is not decentralized currencies. Governments always want to control money as long as they exist. There cannot be a government that says okay I'm giving up my right to print money. Eventually it gets into a vicious circle. Printing more money, rising prices, higher felt inflation, less declared inflation in official data, and the resulting decline in the purchasing power of the people.

Inflation is not a problem of one country or nation; in the current ERA, it's an emerging global problem that almost every country faces.

Every country has different inflation numbers. For developed countries it's way too lower and in countries such as Argentina, Brasil or Türkiye it's sometimes 10 times more.
For example, the inflation declared in our country is around 80%, but it's over 150% according to another unofficial research institution. When you go to the market, you can see that there is at least 200% inflation in last one year. The government is working very professionally to manipulate these figures. I wish they would really do this work on fighting inflation, instead of showing the numbers low.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: October 26, 2022, 09:17:56 PM
I think Valerien Ismael's days are over. There was already speculations about next manager of Beşiktaş but now it's the only topic of discussion. I guess we will find out who will manage the team in a couple of days. Fans have no patience left at all.

And now he's gone. No more Valérien Ismaël. We wasted maybe two years but finally this is over. Beşiktaş need to find way better manager, especially if it's a Turkish one chances would be bigger. As you know almost all champions have Turkish manager in this league.
Şenol Güneş is the closest candidate, we may see his return tomorrow. I hope he will be more successful than his first term. This squad is quite good, but it was managed very bad. Beşiktaş is still close to first place so nothing's over yet. There will be 25 more matches in the league. There is also Turkish Cup. Beşiktaş still can get something from this season.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 05:40:10 PM
I wonder if Salzburg will be able to score against Chelsea. It seems that their last attack wasn't bad... Of course Chelsea dominate the first half, but I think the game could get even more interesting in the second half... I took a chance and bet on a Salzburg goal... Cheesy I also find the odds on Shakhtar's draw or win against Celtic attractive... I think Celtic is not as strong as bookmakers see it... A x2 bet on Shakhtar equals 2...

Watching the first half gave me the vibe of Chelsea to score second goal soon. If they were a little lucky they could've made two already. I expect Auba to score in second half. About Salzburg, I don't know. They may find a goal but I don't think that would be enough for them to get a point here.

My money on Borussia Dortmund - Manchester City game over 2.5 goals bet. Just like their previous three clashes I expect at least three goals. Manchester City is one of their best form currently, I can't imagine a game where Haaland don't score. On the other hand Borussia Dortmund made a goal show against Stuttgart in last match. Morale is high and we know how they can easily create goal positions. At the same time they give big gaps in defense so City would use their disadvantage.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: October 25, 2022, 02:17:34 PM
A lot of mistakes combined and we got this result. Obviously tactical mistakes were the decider of the game. Beşiktaş could've played way better with this squad but something's wrong, for a long time. Substitutions were wrong, again. Muleka was one of the best performers in first half but Ismael decided to get him off. Weghorst couldn't get balls he wanted after that change. Redmond's crosses were okay but generally you can't find many good positions with only crossing game. Dele Alli performed really bad, I wonder what could be the problem. He's far away from his glorious days. Gedson should've started the game. Beşiktaş found very early goal but couldn't find second and as you already know, if Beşiktaş can't make difference to two goals they always concede a stupid goal and lose points. This is what happened, again. Important three points lost, only one win in last six games is unacceptable.

I think Valerien Ismael's days are over. There was already speculations about next manager of Beşiktaş but now it's the only topic of discussion. I guess we will find out who will manage the team in a couple of days. Fans have no patience left at all.

I didn't like the derby performance of both teams. We could've watched a better match but probably because of these two manager's tactical style and game plan, we watched a very boring derby.
Beşiktaş need to find better ways to score, without Ghezzal they couldn't do anything in attack. Midfielders should take more responsibility. Dele Alli should play more effectively in attack. Lack of creative player in the field is felt.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 22, 2022, 06:27:24 PM
Finally Moldova have won the match 2-1. In the second half of the match Latvia came strong making a goal at the start, and further Moldova took possession of the balls and restricted Latvia from making goals. Even after the defeat Latvia stands on the first position on the League D group 1 table and Moldova is on the second position.

I watched the game and it was beyond expectations. Moldova played pretty good and deserved to win. They don't have much chance to advance to C League though. Latvia should easily beat Andorra in last game and finish the group as leader.

If I'd make a parlay for next games I'd put Türkiye handicap win, Poland - Netherlands over 2.5 goals and France - Austria over 1.5 goals or both teams to score. Belgium looks favorite by odds but I wouldn't put my money against Wales, especially with that low odds.

Denmark are undoubtedly favourites for tonight's match... Although bookmakers give roughly the same odds for either team to win...

I think both teams have similar chance to win this game. I'd stay away from side bets. Bookies give similar odds for them normally. Both teams to score could be a good option as both teams have good forwards. I checked starting elevens, Braithwaite and Kramarić are playing. It will be the match of the night.
939  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: September 22, 2022, 05:36:55 PM
You call this high inflation? LOL. We have more than %200 inflation here and people are still scared to protest because of dictatorial government. Minimum wage is under the poverty line here in Türkiye. New iPhone 14 is about 6.5x minimum wage here. That means you have to work for more than half year to buy just a simple phone.

The world is changing. We haven't seen any World War or epidemic. Covid is nothing besides these. Governments print money like there is no tomorrow. Inflation will not stop anywhere. Whether you protest it or not, these won't change soon. Future generations are already in debt.

C Ligi'nden bahsetmeye bile gerek duymuyorum. Türkiye maçını kazanıp üst lige çıkmayı garantiler. Litvanya ise turnuvanın sürpriz ekibi Faroe Adaları karşısında ilk puanını alır.
