Actually maybe a tiny faucet would help so new players could at least have a roll without depositing.

However, being an investor it needs to be small or there will be a a lot of fake accounts and people, plus maybe bots taking faucet money all day.

This time, what date will we get dividends?
The casino has been running for so long, I wonder why such small profits

So much competition and Crypto isn't in a bull market anymore. Like when the ICO was happening...

Just visited Dice-Bet after not being there for a while. Although it is shown there are 9 people online, actually no new bets were made for more than 10 minutes. Also there's no activity in the chat. What do you guys need, from my point of view, is either faucet or constant giveaways in the chat or both. Otherwise, like you can see, the chances of your site becoming popular are slim. I think even 20 sats faucet is much better than nothing. Try it. What can you lose? Set the Minimum Withdrawal Amount to 0.002 BTC, limit the faucet claim to 10 per day by a user, and you will make it almost impossible for someone to reach the min withdrawal amount starting from the faucet. Also, if nevertheless someone succeeded in that you could make a good promo from the fact.
Just my two cents. Do as you will, of course.

But they are doing ltc wagering competition right? And I thought that it is a monthly competition so people will slowly getting something up right here. And btw they are a new site which huge bankroll as I can see here, you should really give them some time to promote their sites. They have everything good from the game, design and may be support team but lack of marketing program and support that managing the thread as well. This should be considered as well, hope they get a good team to help them

They are running 3 wagering competitions (btc, eth and ltc) but the prizes are depending on the wagered amount by players up to 1btc prize. As I posted previously that to win 1btc from the competition, player must wager 500btc. Otherwise top 5 players will only get 0.1% up to 0.2% from what they have wagered.
Obviously they need a better promotion than the current running competition, indeed their wagering competition is unique as it is not similar to other sites but I think they should make promos which all players (low and high bankroll) has the same chance to win the prize.

I never know that they are having others competition too besides ltc because I saw many people are wagering for ltc instead of others coin. And when I know this competition end, I busted too. If I knew this earlier I might take some part on the competition as well. Yes they are making a unique competition but as I been there for some time, I saw there are only fews online and not all that players are doing the wager as well. Sometimes I am the one who betting there, saw my name on all bets tab. They really need to do something to increase their traffic

It is only 1 month old and they have had about $750k worth of bets made (nearly 6 million rolls), so it has been a very good start, with no big problems from what I have seen. So they may not be getting a lot of players (all the faucet leeches) but there are real players.

In saying that a signature campaign and more marketing would help. I see small site upgrades every week but marketing is always worth it!

47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: October 18, 2018, 11:17:48 PM
I've been trading on Cryptopia really well since Bittrex went down. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=CLAM_BTC

Works slick as shit.  Can buy and sell clam.

Only negative is CLAM requires like 450 confirmations... so I send before I go to bed.

Looks like the volume is increasing on cryptopia with bittrex and poloniex not supporting clam anymore...

Might have to try it out to buy some more clams, Getting closer to 3k now!

Fairdapp alone has already wagered 1416LTC

So he will get 2.8LTC based on his rolls already from the competition and It seems like he will wager more.

Plus he is in profit like 10.8LTC.

So I don't think the wager competition was a bad one to start with at all.

57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustadice vs DiceBet Leveraged Investment Returns - Recorded Weekly - 0.6BTC! on: September 26, 2018, 06:44:20 PM
yeah ok I have never invested in anything outside of gambling sites personally and the returns have been good. However I cannot compare them to p2p lending.

So bustadice charge all new investors a 1% dilution fee that goes to all previous investors. It is a bit annoying but if you are a long term investor it will almost definitely be made back and then some.

You will find a better explanation of offsite investment on their site but I just think of it as leverage. I am basically getting a bigger exposure to the profit and loss of the site but they call it offsite investment as opposed to leverage.

DiceBet is currently up from the 0.3BTC I put in, so you might be reading it wrongly. Here is a screenshot taken right now of the investment there:

58  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: DiceBet Review | BTC, ETC & LTC Gambling | Watch As We Turn 0.01BTC into 0.02BTC on: September 25, 2018, 11:44:36 PM
It's nice to see videos that review a specific gambling site and introduce some of its primary interfaces, work around, etc. I have seen particular videos that show different gambling techniques but just on a specific website where they Always gamble in. I hope you could help out with the different scam sites or possible scamming with people too, using gambling sites.

The scam sites have basically died in recently years in terms of Dice sites that you can invest in. Years back it was like every second dice site was scamming you!
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Bustadice vs DiceBet Leveraged Investment Returns - Recorded Weekly - 0.6BTC! on: September 25, 2018, 11:41:02 PM
I have been investing for years now in crypto casino bankrolls and recently publicly recorded the results for the last few years. I think everyone here knows it well enough for me not to have to explain how it all works (You can see the old bitcoin talk investing thread here).

The first year I had great returns, basically up over 50% on average on a Bitcoin basis. The second year was very poor on a bitcoin basis, this was due to the ICO investments in crypto casinos doing very poorly and the normal investments in bitcoin bankrolls giving really low yields (less than half the previous years).

The sites accepting investors is only growing and the established casinos bankrolls are inflated compared to the wagering that is going on in my opinion. So to get a bigger exposure this year I will be investing in DiceBet who allow the biggest investor leverage option (50x) and I will also be investing in Bustadice - the site that week in and week out gets the biggest amount of wagers for any dice site around. Hence the reason this is called Bustadice vs DiceBet!

I will once again try to record the weekly investment returns and graph them (updated graph will be in this first post and at the latest posts).

The investments will are a total of 0.6BTC as per below:

- Bustadice 0.3BTC at max leverage

- DiceBet 0.3BTC split in three different leverage levels:

0.1BTC at 50x leverage (max)
0.1BTC at 25x leverage
0.1BTC at 10x leverage

When a few weeks have passed I will get a good graph up.

Below are screen shots showing the investments that I have put into these sites today.

Bustadice 0.3BTC Initial Investment

DiceBet 0.3BTC Initial Investment

There is a lot more risk this year in terms of investing in less sites and not getting diversity, plus the leverage amount is very high!

Regardless of how it all goes I will be recording it all weekly.
