81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: June 20, 2021, 10:01:35 PM
Binance is a great company no doubt, no institution is too big fail. Failing to me is superlative there are areas where they their services are lacking and they need improvement on those places I can attribute them as "fail" if I so wish. However, there has to be a very competitive opponent to shake Binance off Binance off the radar or better still a heavyweight attack on the exchange to pull them off the level they are currently.

But there is merit to that term too big to fail, no doubt about that. If you reach a certain size and you are systemically relevant, chances are good that government will bail you out if you fuck it up because otherwise all your employees are without jobs. Yes, never say never but we have repeatedly seen in the past that the bigger the institution and the more money and workforce involved, the more likely it is that you will be saved with tax money even though you are to blame.

As for Binance, they are actually really huge. Look at the gap between their trading volume and rank two. It is hard to think of a scenario that that gap will be closed anytime soon as their business model is sound and customers are satisfied. This is not a business where customers quickly change the provider. Liquidity is awesome, service is awesome, product offering is awesome. Binance is in a great spot to say the least and probably for a very long time.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 20, 2021, 09:49:40 PM
BTC is currently in a bearish trend. As a result, altcoins follow btc. If BTC falls, the market bleeds, and when it makes a rapid rise, it bleeds. But when I look at the market in general, everyone thinks that there will be a nice uptrend between August and September. When I look at BTC in general, I see that the support points are solid. Whenever those support points break, I literally think the bear season has started. But it's too early, at least for me, to say that this downtrend has truly started the bear.

Is it really in a bearish trend? We have seen this a couple of times over the last weeks. It starts dropping but now it again recovered up to where it came from half a day ago.

The 7-day trend is a little bit less than 10% minus but we'll see how Bitcoin does during the end of June. Ultimately I am prepared for anything no matter what technical analysis says. What is TA worth if Bitcoin crashes against the best predictors.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth vs bnb on: June 20, 2021, 09:46:05 PM
Each coin has different advantages.
ETH is a long-established platform currency and is trusted by many investors, while BNB is backed by the world's largest exchange.
I think in 2021 these two coins are still competing with each other and no one has outperformed yet.

I agree, both blockchains are backed up by huge projects and a big capital, And both are good for the tokens propose. That's why it's hard to say one of them is better than the other one.

I prefer ETH because they was the first ones with the idea, I feel like BNB is just a copy and not an original idea, but isn't a bad copy at all, they come with the lowest fees and that was a nice move.

As for Ethereum, how exactly are they funded? I mean for BNB it is clear that they are funded by a business' day to day operations in the form of the exchange. But I never really understood whether Ethereum earns any constant income streams? Does anyone know that or is it just donations for rich guys?
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: June 20, 2021, 09:43:40 PM
For those who are experienced in the crypto space or crypto market, I think it will feel good to face market situations, because they are very used to it, but what usually becomes a problem is those who are still very new, so they often panic themselves when they see market conditions that are up and down.
This market has always been volatile, so anyone who wants to trade in this market has to accept it. Noob has no right to complain, price volatility did not show up yesterday, it always was.
As a matter of fact, although this feature scares those who are afraid of losing, also drags the rest to the very center of the market to win big. There are billions of people in the world who have little money and want to be millionaires, and crypto offers them that chance.  Wink
The issue with all of those people with a small amount of capital that want to become rich is that they should understand that due to their low capital they should resign themselves for this process to take a very long time and yet we see the opposite, they want to earn big and they want this process to take a few weeks or months at worst and this is incredibly difficult, and for every single one of them getting the results they want there are thousands that do not, and then they complain about this market being a scam when they were the ones taking the decisions that lead them towards failure.

Hm, but aren't we all similar in that regard to some degree? Especially when you are new to crypto and you realize there is this dream and this potential, you can quickly lose focus and modesty. That's very easy in crypto actually to become greedy because once you had a 5x return in one year you really start to think that 2x per year is a weak year compared to other investments like stocks. That is problematic.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 20, 2021, 09:41:35 PM
I think the meme coin that can last a very long time in my opinion is Dogecoin, because only Dogecoin is able to attract investors and influential people like Elon Musk and other artists who have a lot of money so I believe that Elon Musk's support for Dogecoin is very capable to make Dogecoin last a very long time.

talking about elon musk support, i read this article:

Even Elon Musk can't save Dogecoin from crashing another 60%, analyst asserts

it seems that the forecast is that dogecoin will drop 60% in the next few months and this time elon musk will not be able to prevent this huge price drop. the future will show us if this price forecast is wrong

But if you look at the concentration of the overall DOGE distribution in the top wallets, you don't know who controls those and whether the DOGE are even brought to market ever. If not, a 60% price crash looks more dramatic than it actually is.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: June 04, 2021, 01:42:00 PM
I agree that Binance has a strong impact on the bitcoin economy because almost half of volume trading is dominated by them. and I think they are always trying to give their best by supporting new coins and projects that they believe will have the potential benefit for their customer and also for any parties that involved.

I am not sure whether they have half of the trading volumes with them (would be really surprised if they have, because even at its peak Mt Gox never held this much market share). However, I have to admit that over the last few years they have made a large number of acquisitions, which mostly involved small and medium sized exchanges. This has significantly boosted their overall trading volumes. Also, there is the trust factor. Binance is one of the most trusted exchanges in the world right now.

No they don't have half of the trading volume, but they have 2.5 times as much as the second largest exchange in terms of trading volume. That is quite impressive data. I don't see that gap closing anytime soon as they continue to expand their operations.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 04, 2021, 01:39:02 PM
After the news of doge listed on coinbase pro, the price is increasing. Well dogecoin deserve to be list on coinbase pro because many people supports dogecoin and still believe that it can hit $1 soon.

Don't you see when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of Dogecoin also goes up, and some other coins like BNB have even gone up to $11%. I don't think this is an effect of Dogecoin being listed on CoinbasePro, but because it follows the movement of Bitcoin.

The movement of Bitcoin is relevant but when Bitcoin goes up Dogecoin goes up faster and the other way around.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin listed on Coinbase pro on: June 03, 2021, 10:47:20 AM

Even though Dogecoin is currently listed on Coinbase Pro, I'm not sure it will hit $1 soon, because Dogecoin is basically a joke coin and of course everyone is aware that Dogecoin is not the right coin to invest in. Moreover, recently Dogecoin has become Elon Musk's main target to manipulate market prices, so that without us realizing it, many investors are currently losing some of their assets because of Elon Musk's actions.

It could $1 very well quite soon. Allow Bitcoin to have another boost and things could escalate quickly for Dogecoin with a coordinated pump. It is not that it's unlikely or impossible, but it will depend on Bitcoin's performance I am sure about that.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 03, 2021, 10:46:04 AM
Some obviously fell for it at least to some degree, otherwise a sell off can't happen! Wink Unless it was only the big players who unloaded their bags which were created by pumping the market while also selling into it.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: June 03, 2021, 10:43:28 AM
Binance has grown into a force to reckon with since its establishment in 2017. In just 4 years since inception, Binance dominates the crypto market being the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world. Its most successful venture has been the launch of a public smart contract platform dubbed "Binance Smart Chain". The native cryptocurrency "BNB" went from being worth cents to hundreds of dollars (USD) in just a few years since inception.

It seems to me that Binance has huge influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry. Sometimes I wonder if the world's biggest crypto exchange is too big to fail. With no signs of decline, Binance is on a road to widespread success in the mainstream world. This is bad because it'll make crypto heavily centralized.

What are your thoughts? Is Binance too big to fail? If not, why? Do you think Binance has too much power/influence over the crypto/Blockchain industry? How will it affect crypto (either positively or negatively) in the long term? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Definitely not to big to fail.  Wait until serious players start entering the crypto exchange game.  Exchanges are only as good as the latest fad.  Another exchange can easily catch on and blow them away.  Remember poloniex, Remember mintpal, crypts, etc etc.

What speaks against too big to fail is the theory of create destruction. There have been so many businesses where nobody could imagine in the slightest that they might once disappear. Some of the largest banks failed, companies disappear because of changing technologies and so on. For now they have an incredibly safe position.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: June 03, 2021, 10:41:19 AM
Dogecoin is dropping. Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again?
As the community lost faith and grew fed up with Elon, his tweets were no longer a treasure trove of creed.  Doge's value will drop very quickly.  Even in a temporary retracement, I think Doge will leave an even more colorful carpet.  The price will rise to the side of 0.3$ and the slider at 0.1$.  Although, other variations from the bulls could push in the other direction.
Investor confidence in Elon Musk's tweets may fade but investors continue to believe in Doge, so far the price of Doge is still stable at around $0.3, even though the market is currently unstable, especially Bitcoin, but Doge remains stable.

It will fade a little, but not completely. He is too much of a relevant figure in the world that his word would lose any and all weight. He can turn into a global marketing machine for any cryptocurrency out there with all his businesses.

94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: May 22, 2021, 08:57:56 AM
Can a coin with very low 24hrs volume still brings profit? For example zclassic, the volume isn't even up to 20k in 24hrs, is it worth the risk or it's a big no for you? What do you think about this?

Gambling on small coins is really fun, but we shouldn't get carried away with emotions to give these coins high hopes. A very small volume is very difficult to survive because of the small community. This could be the trigger for the coin to be quiet and starting to be abandoned.

Then, if a miracle happens to the coin, then you will get a big profit. You will be able to easily multiply your money to 4x or even 10x with low volume shit coins. This will only happen if a whales starts pumping the coin.

It is also a question of how much you want to invest. If you have a low volume coin with thin order books there is simply no way to build up a substantial position. Neither can you get out again if you hold a large bag. That's the advantage of the coins with bigger volumes and market capitalizations and that is why for institutional investors coins like Bitcoin or Ethereum are the number one choices. Imagine you want to liquidate a billion on a small cap coin.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: May 22, 2021, 08:55:47 AM
I started to like crypto and being an enthusiast with it lately. I had read many articles around in the internet and found some good attributes regarding on the  different kinds of crypto in the crypto market. And i found out that ethereum is a platform which also supports mostly of the altcoins being introduce by  its mean using ICO. Conducting a project from the crowds budget and in return from the contributions are the giving of tokens instead. And afterwards the tokens will be used in an exchange they prefer to partner with. That is why i am taking credit to ether as best crypto next to bitcoin because of the platforms being used by most of the crypto as well. What do you think? isn't it ether is the best crypto?

ethereum is still the best in cryptocurency. And today Ethereum has risen in the market which has reached a price of $ 3500. this is proof that ethereum is still the best until now because it still has good commodities to pump ethereum for the better and follow the movement of bitcoin.

I am not really sure which Ethereum you are talking about, but the one that is discussed here isn't even close to $3500... It is at $2350 at the time of writing and honestly I am afraid that it will take quite some time to get back to $3500. It is not looking very good right now.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will dogecoin drop to $0.2 again? on: May 22, 2021, 08:52:54 AM
I think there could be a flash dump to $0.20 at some point but I am pretty sure it will get back to $0.50 quickly then. A lot of investors will see an opportunity in a dump for as long as Musk is involved and it seems he has no plans to abandon DOGE.
yes, it has got back to $0.5.

Well now it's getting ugly for everyone who bought DOGE lately, but honestly it was to be expected. Those who thought it might go up to a few bucks are now burning their fingers. DOGE is what it is, a meme coin and before investing one should really think twice.

98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burning of cryptocurrency on: May 18, 2021, 10:17:14 AM
Hello guys,
I have recently come to know about cryptocurrency. It is amazing, how these digital currency eill revolutionise this world.
Since, I am following alot of coins. I have listen about burning of cryptocurrency. I am a little bit confused what does burning mean, I will be thankful if anybody explain this.
And I have seen major percentage of coins hold by this address 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead.
To whom this address belong? Is there anyone have access of this address ?
My advice is don't invest on crypto projects with only burning feature because that's all majority of those projects has to offer, burning off max supply of a coin or token doesn't mean the projects will have more value, burning of tokens isn't good use case

If it is the only feature that might be a little bit poor and short of what we should expect from a good cryptocurrency. It is nice to have though if you have a burning option or feature built into the protocol.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I see no difference between Elon Musk and McAfee on: May 18, 2021, 10:16:16 AM
I smell another John McAfee parody with this meme coin and Elon musk chilling all other the internet, the guy will end up losing his respect and people who aren't wise at making decisions will end up hating him, John McAfee used to chill crypto projects forcing the unknown to rush and buy well Elon Musk is the John McAfee Part 2
Sometimes i was thinking that they are twins? because they almost have the same attitude and same greed and stupid person  Grin

While McAfee had already lose His popularity when he did not Eat his private part last year, now Elon Musk is making His own path to become popular as McAfee in this market.

Actually they both lose their respect from people now and sooner will be forgotten and become just a joking memes .

No way you can compare Musk with McAfee. There is nothing they have in common if you ask me. McAfee is a failed personality. He failed on almost all levels. How could you say that about Elon Musk? Look at the list of criminal charges or suspicions against McAfee. McAfee is brutal and insane, I wouldn't say that about Musk.
