1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: June 19, 2017, 02:23:20 PM
Just had a rejected withdrawal from Cloudbet. WTF is up with them. I needed the btc today and now I have to wait for a day to get access to the coins.

Hi Sherbyspark! what happened? why was your withdrawal rejected?

I have no clue. They have not left a message and neither emailed me about the issue.

Thats the least they should have done.

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin like systems already exist? on: January 24, 2017, 05:18:33 AM
Nothing decentralized or transparent as the bitcoin infrastructure. I believe the blockchain was the biggest win for bitcoin.

6  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 09, 2017, 05:17:38 AM
Yes, it is very much possible to launder money with bitcoin and I am sure there are already many cases of this happening. This is also how most of the sites like bitmixer survive and are able to pay those big amounts out on signature campaigns. Since it allows people to be almost anonymous, therefore it is and will always be the best way for people to evade taxes and launder money. It is also the reason some governments are against it.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: November 21, 2016, 09:02:08 PM
Not surprising that they haven't heard of it. None of my family members know much about it either except for the fact that it has some value. The only people who follow the internet news would have likely heard about it. Its very rare to have a new article about it too.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does bitcoin ATM going to affect bitcoin? on: November 01, 2016, 05:46:54 PM
If its an ATM that would allow people to buy bitcoins using cash, then yes it will definitely boost bitcoin activity and price. More people would also be introduced to bitcoin this way.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 18, 2016, 04:10:26 PM
I do believe we do must do both, because at crypto world, having some coin might mean we will get a bigger value, with saving, with investment we can grow our bitcoins fast as well risk to loose them.
currently look like that risk is not as mush as the chance of increasing the value of bitcoin in next few months so investment in bitcoin can e proof as a good decision,
You can almost never predict that. In the past the prices have gone up or down in the times when it wasn't expected. However, bitcoin is not a good investment currently, because the prices might not go up to get a good ROI.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and paying Tax on: October 02, 2016, 10:22:41 AM
The way I imagined it was, that every person will receive or will have to declare a few addresses as his own and anyone spending bitcoins or paying anyone will sort of have to declare why he is doing it. This way the government could monitor heavily. But overall, I doubt this would be successful due to all kinds of mixers and services being there.

Probably if the world becomes ready to adopt bitcoin, then a different digital currency will take its place which would have better control or monitoring by the governments.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Trying to buy my first bitcoins! on: October 02, 2016, 09:48:32 AM
Circle.com is usually great to buy bitcoin, but do require a verification I believe. In the same line, you can also just buy it from Coinbase and bistamp after confirming your identity.

If you wish to buy it off instantly, then Localbitcoins is your best bet, provided you can do a bank transfer. You should also be able to find a seller based in your local country or locality to do cash transactions.
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Jetwin scam? can't pay my $10k winnings! on: September 25, 2016, 02:46:59 AM
Would love to hear their side of the story. Usually just a suggestion, while I don't intend to hurt the reputation of any bitcoin casinos, I find that when betting such high amounts of bitcoins, you should only do so at the most reputed casinos to prevent losing any money due to such cases.

But hopefully you should have everything sorted soon.
13  Economy / Services / Re: Need A Legal Writer For Terms & Conditions For My Blackjack Site on: September 09, 2016, 02:53:04 AM
Just a suggestion. I have mostly seen sites pick up terms and conditions from other sites. Not exactly ethical, but that ways you can be sure of not missing out something incase you decide to draft a fresh one for yourself.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much do/would you donate/crowdfund and to what kind of projects? on: August 18, 2016, 12:14:44 AM
If its bitcoin related, it is very difficult to convince people to invest specially because of all the scams that have happened in the past.

I understand that people where scamed a lot but if the project is backed up with some proof what would the bitcoin community be interested in?
And what kind of proof should be provided that would satisfy investors/donators?

Proof for what ? I guess you will have to be a citizen of a gambling allowing country and have to reveal your identity. Apart from that, you can consider doing multisig with a Very trusted member of the forum.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone know where I can buy BTC with paypal with low fees? on: July 30, 2016, 05:43:20 AM
I believe Virwox was one of the sites which allowed you to buy bitcoins with paypal, but had a pretty steep fees. You can always buy it through traders, but another way you can buy it is through buying digital goods online and then selling it. You can look into buying an Amazon card, and then selling it for a 5% discount. You will have to take a hit in price, but thats the only good way to buy bitcoin with paypal. The 2 are just not compatible enough.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: SwCpoker.eu | No Banking, Only Bitcoin | Bitcoin Poker 2.0 LIVE NOW! on: July 14, 2016, 07:59:22 PM
I'm curious, why are so few players on swc? I would think lots of people would prefer BTC over banking and all the verification and waiting. Or are they playing on other btc site?

Time to read the thread dude.  The main reason why is that their old, cross-platform, working software was abandoned for a buggy, windows-only software.  I think the majority of the old players simply cannot connect or when the do connect there are too many bugs.
Also a decline in players in almost all sites. Swc just haven't been active at all in updating their software or addressing player issues.

There was never double payment on Table Starter and Krill rakeback. It was always the higher of the two percentages, and it still is. Management is not "ghost" they're here and  working hard to fix what's wrong.

Other than cancelling tournaments, what the fuck are they doing exactly?  Are they invisible?  Do they have tongues?

I haven't heard a word from these fuckers in months.

I feel the project is only a side project for them, like just paying the hosting and the domain fees. They probably have given up on running it as a professional site. I literally haven't heard a word from them since th e beginning.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ID proof on Localbitcoins on: June 17, 2016, 03:03:26 PM
If you use your ID on any of these online exchanges then everytime they ask you for the id, you should watermark the ID specifying the purpose so it cannot be misused at any other places.
