121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy GRAMS in Telegram. on: October 11, 2019, 12:12:08 PM
Before you have anything to do with GRAM coins you should know what rules they have.
They can turn off your account whenever they want!
I guess same thing we can expect from Libra and others...

Quote
Use of the Services.

4.2. Termination. We reserve the right to close, terminate or disable any or all of the Services, your user account, or your access to the Services at any time and for any reason.

So it's centralized. That is weird for cryptocurrency where we mainly decentralized.
Maybe they will ask for personal data in the future.
But i really like Telegram, that is can upload high res image and can make private chat.
I am still looking forward, is TON comfortable or not in the future.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to detect desperate Developers and scammers on: October 11, 2019, 12:05:37 PM
That is maybe hard but sometimes easy to know.
The easy way is checking who as developers. Try find as much information from internet. Check their Linkedin, Fb, twitter, blog. Also from mainstream news site. Check the photo is it fake or not.
Some scammer is take someone photo and small information about developer.
The hard way is checking the project code, mission, etc.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experience from day one on: October 11, 2019, 11:57:58 AM
I already invest in cryptocurrency from 2013 where Bitcoin is in low price.
I playing Bitcoin faucet, it make me around 0.1 BTC.
After that altcoin showed, so i buy Doge i forget the price, but that is little low price, then i sell it in 2016, i make a bunch profit from there.
For bounty and airdrop until now i'm not fan to join it.
So many KYC needed to verified.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters needs to start respecting themselves on: October 11, 2019, 11:48:51 AM
Maybe they hunter who take low value bounty is too poor.
Yes they need money, but i think lazy to research, is it worth to take this bounty?
I prefer research first so in the long run will have a big potential profit.
I hope some beggar know how to educate themself.
I don't judge you!
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why promoting scam project After confirm? on: October 11, 2019, 11:42:24 AM
Some bounty hunter is don't care about the update.
They will try as best to get maximum bounty. So if that is legit they get some profit. Maybe they are tired about scam project, so they taken all  Cheesy
But for me, i always checking is it legit or not.
If the scam sign i saw, i will try get out from there.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: October 11, 2019, 11:38:07 AM
I'm not invest in all top ranked coin, only around 1 - 3 coins.
That is basicly to secure my asset if something wrong with altcoin. So if the price will drop, i don't get hurt too much.
Also top ranked coin is have small fee, so i can transfer with comfortable (maybe slow, but no problem)
127  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the things you hate about Islam! on: October 11, 2019, 07:16:52 AM
Every religion have minus and plus, also in Islam.
I am Islam, what i hate why terrorist is always linked with Islam. I already study every religion, they don't teach about killing people is accepted.
Also don't too much hate other religion, that is up to them to choose what religion to have.
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you arrange a meet up or make a gathering with local bitcoin community? on: October 11, 2019, 07:07:00 AM
I never experience it. Because Bitcoin here in my town is still not yet famous. There is still many problem if we try to educate people, like why we need use Bitcoin? It can't buy item in shop, that is waste of our time.  Cheesy
But if in Facebook Group, that is some people already take meetup, maybe in big town.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: October 11, 2019, 07:01:38 AM
Bitcoin is first currency with billion of dollars transactions with less fee and lightening fast network so other altcoins be traded with bitcoin

Yes Bitcoin is first currency in crypto world.
But some your point i think is wrong, less fee and lightening fast network.
Standard fee of Bitcoin is around 50 satoshi/byte.
That is expensive if we compare it with other altcoin, Dogecoin for example with fee 1 doge per transaction.
Also the network is more slow if we compare it one year ago.
130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think AI enabled trading bot really exists? on: October 11, 2019, 03:53:24 AM
The question is as simple as the subject line,

Do you think AI enabled trading bot really exists?

We often see websites with such claims that they have developed a AI enabled trading bot which generates income for them in an automated manner and anyone who invest in their platform. I strongly believe that these kind of schemes are just cleverly disguised ponzi schemes and no such trading bot really exists.

What's your view on this? Have you ever experienced any such trading bots that generates automatic income for you?

Yes that is exists. But the question is it really work?
I mean it's profitable or not, if we see to research and develop AI is not cheap. Also they have limited action to execute in buying and selling process.
So i think that will not profitable in long term, the human is always made mistake in choosing to buy or not in market, that is also with AI. If trading in cryptocurrency, i believe AI will made many mistake.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice - A small mistake emptied my wallet. on: October 10, 2019, 04:19:14 PM

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: October 10, 2019, 04:08:59 PM
Lol this is like propaganda.
But i already sell some my altcoin, today i still hold known coin like LTC, Doge to trade it with Bitcoin. Short answer to make profit. Then watch is it Bitcoin is really useful or not in the future. I hope it will useful and price go up to the highest price.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: October 10, 2019, 03:59:29 PM
Yes. Bitcoin is need support. The answer is altcoin.
If altcoin can solve many problem worldwide, that is chance to help Bitcoin get heart from people.
They will try how easy Bitcoin and altcoin. Bitcoin as parent of altcoin have some benefit if people want use it.
But i hear in China is very restricted about cryptocurrency, so maybe they will slow but sure to take Bitcoin.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The uses for Cryptocurrency in places where fiat currency cannot be used on: October 10, 2019, 03:54:01 PM
Nowadays the world’s economy seems to be stable in a majority of the developed nations. However, for some of the less developed nations their economies are not doing so well compared to the more developed nations. In these countries, their economies might not be going so well due to conflicts in the regions, mismanagement by their governments and sometimes in the worst-case scenarios corruption by their respective governments.

In such cases, the value of their currencies is not very high in the global economy or in some cases such as Zimbabwe, are worthless to use for transactions. While some people in those countries just use trusted currencies such as the US Dollar as it is trusted by people worldwide, there is another alternative: cryptocurrency.

Considering that their currency is basically unusable, Zimbabwe has adopted cryptocurrencies as a means of trade especially after their banks wouldn’t allow them to make transactions using foreign currency. So far the use of cryptocurrencies there is rising and it probably won’t stop until they fix their economy. This shows that cryptocurrencies can help countries that have problems with their currency.

Another example would be Venezuela. As we know now, the region is rather unstable with their economy not doing so well, however, some of the people there are able to get by using cryptocurrencies which further proves that cryptocurrencies can greatly benefit places with economic difficulties.

I have low confidence about Zimbabwe has used cryptocurrency.
There is country where inflation is very high, so for using cryptocurrency like Bitcoin you need computer and internet. The price is expensive and also they are poor in education.
So if they use Bitcoin, how to transfer and exchange. I think that's hard.
But don't know if there is already adopt cryptocurrency, i'm late news about them.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can more ATM's increase adoption for Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2019, 03:45:52 PM
ATM for bitcoin, i think that is great!
People will curious if they see it. What is bitcoin atleast.
But the problem is, to place ATM is not cheap. There is some cost like electricity, tax, fees. So if we buy Bitcoin with ATM, i know will expensive. That is bad... if you take advantage to make profit. Also if placed free outside maybe will get broken by bad people.
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 10, 2019, 03:38:31 PM
Thats right because Bitcoin is only currency.
But as human are you sure not worry if your investment drop like hell?  Grin
Personally i am still worry about it. But i don't too much pay attention about it.
I believe Bitcoin is still long way to use in the future, the opportunity people make it to as payment still bright.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin mixers be considered illegal by worldwide governments? on: October 10, 2019, 01:29:24 PM
Bitcoin mixers have a long history since they came into inception some time ago. They've been a viable alternative for people looking towards privacy within their Bitcoin transactions. While Bitcoin mixers are far from being perfect, they're still one of the best solutions for obfuscating transactions from third parties. The only concern would be that mixing services are centralized as they're provided by a middleman. In effect, this brings a single point of failure greatly defeating the purpose of privacy.

We've seen how Bestmixer got shut down by the authorities. They claim that Bestmixer encouraged money laundering activities which resulted in legal action. The truth is that Bitcoin mixers can be used for both good and bad things. Money laundering is mostly done with Fiat than with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. Still though, the perception of worldwide governments against mixers/tumblers seems to be different nowadays. Which makes me wonder whenever Bitcoin mixers will be considered illegal by such entities within the future?

If governments ban mixers/tumblers, then they could easily do the same to privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies like Monero and Grin. It's all a matter of power and control over people than anything else. What do you think about this? Huh

Mixer is centralized, the place is easy to takedown, atleast the website. But not for cryptocurrency, they can't takedown it, they can only banned or block it with ISP. But if you use vpn that crypto can still accessed.
Back to topic.
Yes that is absolutely illegal, because you like hide people transaction from surveillance government.
The mixer only service like that. They don't know who the customers. So maybe any customer is the corruptor.
That is like help him for criminal.
138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Backup your Private Keys ! (Before it's too late) on: October 10, 2019, 01:10:44 PM
So, recently my personal laptop's hard drive got corrupted and all my data was lost, including private keys for my wallet.
...thankfully I already had a secure backup of them and no coins were lost.

Here I am sharing my technique to beginners so they can back up their private keys the same way I did.

Many of the users might be storing the keys/seed in some written form but physical damage to paper might lead to loss of your funds.

Here's how I do it:

1. Edit an image using notepad, paste the seed in between.
2. Add it to a .zip file and encrypt it by setting a password.
3. Create a new Gmail account and set up 2-factor authentication. Upload .zip file to Google Drive.
4. Remember this account's password, and Never use it. NEVER. Don't save to any password manager, just remember.
5. That's it, you got yourself a secure online backup for your keys.

Don't repeat the password in any step, or else this method might become useless.

I don't know if this is optimal or not, but comments are appreciated.

I am not really sure, edit image with notepad.
Also that is complicated. We don't know :
zip also can get virus
Google maybe will block your account without notice
also to open it we must use laptop, pc, phone.
That is too long process...
I am still choose to write it manually in paper then laminated it. Save in the deposit box, if you want really secure.  Grin
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: October 10, 2019, 01:01:33 PM
Because people are always willing to sell their ico coins less than what's on the market, the selling power will always be greater than the buying power unless in rear circumstances.

Yess...
also that coin don't have value at all, maybe they get from airdrop. So they will sell it, they don't care the coin is good or not in the future.
The developer in the next must try make it like exclusive edition not like oxygen, everyone can get it for free.
140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to control your emotions while trading?👨🏼‍💻 on: October 10, 2019, 12:54:35 PM
Before control emotions, firstly i already lose so many Bitcoin on trading. I am really mad and sad at that time.
I always try to learn from my lose. Every time i get lose from trading i learn something experience.
That is patience. We need some research before join in trading. Reading some news, studied what project we want invest, etc. That tips might help you.

Your 4 tips i think not all right.
I always see the chart too much. If i think that time is good, i will buy at the lowest price.
