I usually play on multiple methods.

I play on 99x on primedice, I play on 66%, and I play on 90%

I've won several times on 99x, I have my method to it Tongue
\

I agree you have to go for the big wins to ever  walk away a winner 999x 99x my normal is either 5x or 10x but goiing for the big wins is only way to win big

323  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://luckyb.it/ - just be carefull on: November 23, 2014, 05:53:33 AM
Mathematically, the odds are better than 98.24% on every game.

However, experience differs due to variance. Some folks have huge luck and others have the opposite; same as any other game. There are also multiple approaches to probability, and one in particular helps demonstrate why Lucky Bit in particular gives some people such a negative impression.

Consider that the odds of hitting the very edge win are 1 in 32768. Well, if you don't plan on playing 16,000 bets you can basically assume that for your instance, the odds are actually zero. They aren't, of course, and that's the fun, but when evaluating an expected return, it's a safe estimation. The same logic can actually be applied on down the outer bets: the second payout has 1 in 2048 odds so if you don't have 1,000 bets in the forecast you can safely assume you won't hit that slot. Striking the third slot from the forecast is appropriate for less than a few hundred bets, which describes most players. So what you do is calculate the game odds without the fringe wins to come up with a "reasonable expectation" for a lower number of bets, and the answer is actually quite surprising.

For blue and green, striking the outer bets impacts the expected return by less than 1%. The big impact from playing these lines comes from the bitcoin network fee on small bets.
For yellow there is a notable drop in the expected return using this method; a few hundred bets can expect more than 90% returns.
For red the drop is significant. The expected return is under 85% for less than 1,000 bets and below 50% for a dozen bets.

Let me re-iterate that. Your expected return on a dozen bets on red is less than 50%. Notice that should any of that dozen bets hit one of the outer 3 slots it's a guaranteed double-up or better, and a single x9 landing paired with any non-x0.2 hit is a profit, for that same dozen bets. The chances of either of these scenarios is actually higher than your intuition might suggest, and we didn't even include the more-common profit instances of several x2/x4 landings within a given dozen bets. But hitting all x0.2 is not uncommon either; there's a very high expected variance within those dozen bets. Variance means bigger winners and losers - and that's why the game feels harder to win than it is. Anyone that's won 30BTC probably doesn't think Lucky Bit has bad odds - it's all perception when it comes to this sort of thing, and there really isn't a mathematical model for how a game feels. Roll Eyes

when i bet red i am ready to lose 80% of 80% of my bets... the other 20%.... whoooo knows...

327  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect from bitcoin in December 2014? on: November 22, 2014, 05:38:11 PM
get a job  Grin

Ok, that is a option D

D) Keep the bitcoin, some day that 3 btc will be $3000 again, and get a job to pay that $1340

All in 3 times on Blue Line :-P <------- joking :-)

i would steer clear of altcoins as their price seems to be more iffy than btcs.... I think they will go up though imo by late december +400 (I have no reason evidence or proof of this just my opinion with no facts to support)

I would say its better to hold on to your BTCs and slowly collect until you get to the amount youo neeed

wow, quite a big storm around .. I apologize for my words, I might have had a bad day, but I did not expect that at this forum are only the winners ..  Shocked

For the word "thiefs" - sorry - was not fair!

Edit: Big SORRY! Was VERY not fair! I should to know what im doing.. just my fault nothing more..

We all some times have a bad days... i remember the day i lost 0.4 on Satoshi bones with a martingale, i was mad and talking realy bad about the site, but i understand that game was fair.

But in the moment dont feel good to lose that money  Embarrassed
I don't think it is a good idea to use martingale with any blockchain based dice sites as the TX fees will encourage you to start with a large bet + the TX fees will eat away at your potential winnings.

I have made a similar mistake and have learned my lesson, and will generally only try martingale on actual "site" dice sites.

I remember that day, i start with 0.02 and all day win all runs on that x2.5... at night i got 0.4 and think, lets do the last one before go to sleep... i lose every single bet, was like 10 or 12 consecutive bets and i see how my wallet go from 0.4 to 0.0 it was a hard leason to me.

Now i dont bet on dice, i think Luckybit, Poker and Sports are better for bet than Dice. But i know some gamblers who make nice profits on dice sites.

funny how this thread started as an LB bash but quickly had many of the regulars there ready to defend the site :-) awesomeness

Can only put my 2 cents in, but I lost 30% of the games I played. I think something may be fishy but need proof in order to say for sure.

So that means you win 70% of the games you play. How is that fishy?  Huh

:=_) sometimes those numbers in math just sound better when said one way then when said the other lol manipulating the results to make it sound in favor.. *(not u mike the OP)
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The transaction fee is just ridiculous. on: November 22, 2014, 02:28:31 AM
We are FORCED to pay a tax upon every transaction, and they say Bitcoin doesn't have any taxes? That's just pure crap. Taxation is unconstitutional theft via armed extortion. In Bitcoin's case, it's unavoidable, and is without the armed extortion (YOU ARE FORCED TO PAY).

You are not FORCED to pay anything.

You are not even FORCED to use bitcoin.

You are welcome to use bitcoin if you like, and you are welcome to pay any fee (or no fee at all if you like).

Equally, the peers on the network are not FORCED to relay your transaction if they don't want to.

They are welcome to relay your transaction if they like, and they are welcome to ignore your transaction if they like.

Equally, the miners are not FORCED to include your transaction in their blocks.

They are welcome to include your transaction if they like, and they are welcome to leave your transaction for some other miner to include in their block if they like.

Isn't it great how NOBODY is FORCED to do any of these things with bitcoin.

well said its a luxery fee of getting ur transfer made in timely manner

338  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anonymous vs KKK on: November 20, 2014, 03:44:22 PM
I doubt anonymous would not have courage to make anything in real life.

They are a bunch of cowards when not behind a screen

But they are unhooding (showing the faces) of the KKK members that are locals around the town that is now declared a "state of emergency" AND alot of thhose  people being able to identify them are now not cowards....

Anonymous +1

I love that, the way people call other people cowards who use anonymity to fight psychopaths like the KKK and others who would immediately start targeting their friends and family if these people knew who they all were, gotta love the naivete in that because it just goes to show you how ignorant they are of what these people are willing to do. Unless you can assure everybody on the internet that their defenceless families won't be attacked in retaliation for them doing the right thing then you have a right to lecture them about not showing their faces, until then, fuck off.

These people are scumbags and won't play fair, that's just reality and as I said, if they knew who the anonymous members were if they couldn't get to the members they'd lynch their families.

You have to fight smarter not harder now days... the fact that anonymous is 1 probably out on the streets  as well as behind the computer protesting against a group that 1 fights for unjust causes... but also getting people to rally and stand up against these people and actually know who they are targetting...
