423  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Betcoin SCAM on: October 25, 2014, 05:18:56 AM
Ive never had any issues...how sure are you your ticket was a double winner?  Maybe there was flaw in there grading procedure and since u were first to point it out it may be taking a little bit more time to get this resolved for you while double checking bag logs of tickets seeing if this is a mistake that has been made in the passed... never go and use the scam word to quickly...

A little off topic but I'm confused, did a gambling site sell you the $1.50 of BTC or did you purchase from an exchange and transfer to the Casino?

If you follow my signature link below you will see the gambling site im in reference too... there if you atleast have a little to start with you can win prizes for chat also which helps ya keep going....   I've won the BTC i have from playing poker freerolls though...
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hollywood on: October 24, 2014, 04:19:54 PM
well, let alone starring angelina jolie, which tells the story of a rescue mission inventor of bitcoin is held hostage by terrorists. and they succeeded in their mission and are rewarded 400bitcoin, they traveled the world with it with luxury living

Or maybe a movie about the inventor of bitcoin really being a time travellor that in the ends becomes a world power with the wealth his has accumulated from traveling in time implementing this thing called bitcoin with his future technology then returning to his own time 2040 to cash in on it...
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / First Send compared to last send on: October 23, 2014, 03:42:17 PM
I'm just curious after reading through some of the older archives here, for the users who are still currently active with BTC and how long most have been using it could be easy to tell your time in with comparing what you use BTC first and what it was used for last.... My first purchase was for about 4 or 5 BTC for a virtually small bag of a green leafy substance... which at the time had a value of about 150-180USD... my last purchase was for a small amount of 0.0035 and it really wasnt a purchase but a bet made to a gambling site for a value of just about $1.50 USD....
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin Collection on: October 23, 2014, 12:48:42 AM
yes i am im not here to trip anyone up the potential of this is huge I just want to make the right decision and if I fail I think I would probably kill myself it will be with me for the rest of my unfortunate life

with that being said be careful with any investments if your life is seriously dependent upon your investments...  but all in all out of all the coins out there bitcoin is the only one with strong future I believe most alt coins are a come and go type deals maybe ltc will stick aroundd.... these are just my thoughts dont put your life on the line with my words...

Yes i know ppl who got his money back, but i know ppl who didnt got his money back yet, maybe this will take some time to them i dont know.

So what can i tell you is that:

1-they are working on it and you will received it soon.
2-they havent enought money to pay back everybody.

i hope they are on the number #1.

They are at number 2.

I think its incedents like this that will if there ever is cause a death of bitcoin... companies that are holding over a s certain amount of count needs a checks/balances system in check to insure all coins are being held with some type of insurance

433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is a time traveler on: October 21, 2014, 10:41:33 PM

Well, Nikola Tesla had just as much insight into potential future impacts of certain techs and had comparable levels of impact on the world with his inventions (he could have had a lot more impact if he werent drowned by capitalism, eg his free electricity transmitter).
Tesla never claimed to be a TT, so if human genius can be as capable as he was, then I think Bitcoin could be achieved by a similar person without the need to 'know' the future.

That said I hope he is a TT, its way more interesting and also that way he less likely to spend his coins for a loong while:)

The other thing about TT is that it begs lots of questions i love to think about:
is TT not regulated in the future? Was [t]{s}he[y]* a lone shark traveler just out to make themselves rich with pre-mining?
If TT is regulated or not, why didnt * go back and kill hitler or some other mass monster(s)?
Why not prevent lots of senseless deaths by inventing earthquake detectors or leaving more benevolent tech?
If * are just out to get rich, why not do something that is more likely to survive into the future like buy gold at 1$ per ounce(gold has stood longer test of time so far, BTC could be made illegal still in an unknown timeline - I guess this person cant be from a tooo distant future then)?
What other inventions were given to humanity without knowing who * is/are? If this is a solo actor acting illegally, how did they get away with it? Surely they can detect ST distortions?

Maybe * illegally travelled back, pre-mined enough to get rich without intending to return to their original time for fear of getting busted - but that would mean the BTC value gets high enough in this lifetime, and adoption gets widescale enough that * can withdraw them without causing a price crash, OR widespread enough that * can just live off spending them...

Now you got me thinking:p

Also makes me think of The Philedelphia experiment lol time travel and things of that nature
434  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS 1 oz Gold Eagles Spot + $40 on: October 20, 2014, 09:56:32 PM
I might be interested next week if it's still available.

Where did you buy this from? Any proof it's real gold? You can buy fake ones that are well made and look real but are filled with tungsten. I almost bought a 1oz gold bar here a couple of months ago. Decided not to after their was no proof... later I found it was indeed fake (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=664807.msg8443112#msg8443112)

I bought these from a guy online, so no credibility there. I can however provide a xray report from a local pawn shop. (they put everything through it to make sure it's real)

I'll just go and ask them to scan them again, and print out the report. I'll take a pic and post it along with some pics of the actual eagles.

A good reputable site is TheCoinVault.com but they do not accept BTC, but here recently I have started emailing them asking if they may in the future consider accepting BTC as form of payment and still waiting to hear back from them.  Maybe if a few  more people email in regards to this may catch their interest, would be nice to have a trusted dealer of coins like them to accept digital currency.

Not as dumb as " satoshi comes from the future" I guess. ..

436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Your favourite BTC poker site? on: October 20, 2014, 08:08:20 PM
Hey, I am tired of sealwithclubs, outdated client and can't cashout through it. Which poker client has the nicest design (in your opinion) and the best function? The closer to pokerstars the better.

as stated above nitrogensports.eu is nice and also betcoinpoker.com is very nice if you like gambling in general and a good fun game to pass the time check out my signature is fun game :-)
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin seen on National T.V. during football game on: October 19, 2014, 01:37:06 PM
Such companies and tv ads will definitely attract more people to use Bitcoins.

I highly doubt it.

People are lazy by their nature, chances for bump in "Bitcoin" googling are very low in my opinion.

I don't agree with you.
Advertising doesn't mean that people will buy new product, or try new service, right away, as soon as they see new ad.
Maybe 1 of 100 or 1 of 1 000 prospect will do this.
but, if people will see advertising about bitcoin more and more often, eventually more and more people will become interesting in bitcoin and check out about this.
In this way, bitcoin will become more attractive and popular, and this is good way to become mainstream eventually.

Those are my thoughts exactly.... Im sure whenever visa/mastercard first came out and it became widespread it took a little bit of time before at the end of every commercial it said now accepting visa/Mastercard.... but there are also alot of people who 1. have never heard of btc 2. dont trust btc: I believe it becomes mroe mainstream will knock some of those people out of those two catigories
438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hollywood on: October 19, 2014, 01:18:08 PM
Documentary from small independent company is more likely. There just isn't enough audience out there to pay 20 dollars to see a bitcoin movie.

Not a movie that is 100% about bitcoin but maybe like a small part having an actor guy to some lil  kiosk and paying with bitcoin or even just a mention about bitcoin in the movie... lol i dont think they could make an entire movie about bitcoinn and it be innteresting unless it was some heist movie lol
