Rain, wickets, and a captivating contest in the #AUS vs PAK Test. It's a brilliance on day one, Pakistan's fightback on day two. Australia's batting is focused on day three as they trail by 197 runs. Labuschenne and Smith hold the key. Exciting cricket ahead!
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: January 02, 2024, 11:37:52 AM
In cricket we often see that if one team wins two matches in a three match series then the opposite team wins the next match but that situation is very unlikely in today's match because Australia has already collected more than 250 runs for 4 wickets so chances of win in this match is very difficult for India team. chasing 330 or more definitely be a tough challenge for the Indian team. India will try their best to win the last match. Since they have not got any win in this series and if they lost today's match they will be whitewashed. But fall of consecutive wickets, the match can come under control at any time.

The situation in today's cricket match seems challenging for the Indian team, as Australia has already scored over 314 runs for 7 wickets from 48.3 balls. Chasing a target of 330 or more will undoubtedly be a tough challenge. India, having not secured a win in this series, is eager to avoid a whitewash. However, with the fall of consecutive wickets, the match can swing in any direction.

Can India overcome the odds and secure a victory in the last match of the series?
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 02, 2024, 10:41:01 AM

It's true that the United Arab Emirates showed their capability in the second T20 match, making the game unpredictable. Your personal opinion favoring Afghanistan aligns with the team's strong performance. It will indeed be interesting to see how the United Arab Emirates performs if they bat first. Let's hope for an exciting and competitive match!
As Afghanistan defeated UAE by 72 runs in the first match but UAE defeated Afghanistan by 11 runs in the next match the three match series is tied 1/1. However, a win in today's match between Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates will ensure the series win for that team. But Afghanistan is far ahead in statistics but in the last match due to bowling attack of UAE, Afghanistan lost. But in today's match too if UAE bowling attack can do well then there will definitely be a chance for UAE to win. On the other hand, Afghanistan's batting is much better than UAE and if Afghanistan win the toss and bat first and give a target of more than 180 runs, then Afghanistan will have more chances to win today's match.

Indeed, the series is finely poised at 1-1, making today's match a decider. Although Afghanistan has a superior overall record, the recent performance in the last match, especially due to the impressive bowling attack from UAE, makes it an interesting battle. If UAE's bowlers continue to shine, they might secure a victory.

What are your predictions for today's match?

Absolutely, the current standings do reflect a delicate situation for Al-Shabab. While their recent performance has shown promise, it's important for them to maintain consistency to secure a safer position. Losing the momentum gained could be detrimental.

What strategies do you think Al-Shabab should employ to ensure a steady climb in the table for the remainder of the season?

No this series is not being held in Australia it is being held on Indian soil. The third ODI match between India and Australia women's team is going to be played today.Meanwhile, Australia women won the toss and elected to bat first.
In the previous two matches, Australia women's team defeated the Indian women's team with great performances. I think India women team must play well today and even win this match to show that we are good and show that we can win.

Thank you for the update on the series. The Indian women's team must perform well in today's match. Do you think the Indian women's team can turn things around and secure a victory?
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: January 02, 2024, 08:26:23 AM
That's one of my top list that I set for myself, I will never gamble with the money I owed to others or I won't gamble until I have extra money because I have seen or met many different people who experienced bad things in life because they were made to gamble using other people's money. for me, it is one of the things that should not be done to avoid the destruction of life, being in debt is a big damage especially if you don't have the ability to pay after gambling that's why I don't think play and pay later casino will be a norm in gambling world as we know that there's no guarantee of winning in doing gambling.

That's a very thoughtful approach towards gambling. Your commitment to not gambling with money owed to others and having extra funds before participating is commendable. Can you share more about the experiences you've witnessed that led you to make such a decision, and how do you think this mindset can contribute to a responsible gambling culture?
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is better, parlay or teaser bet? on: January 02, 2024, 07:37:08 AM
I'm curious what crypto gambling platform OP is using that he is asking which is a better strategy. I am not familiar with teaser bets. I haven't tried it. And I also haven't encountered it in my crypto gambling betting sites. It must only be offered by a very limited number of crypto sports betting sites.

With the explanation it seems teaser betting is just a kind of multi-betting. It is still parlay but with a different approach. I don't fully get how it is used to one's advantage so if ever there's such a feature in my betting site, I would love to explore it before trying.

I'm curious to learn more about teaser betting, especially since it seems to be a unique strategy in crypto sports betting. Can anyone provide insights on how teaser betting works and whether it's advantageous?
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 02, 2024, 07:32:32 AM
Actually by observing my external condition I think all are good in my health anywhere we should must door regular check up for more health concern. I think physical illness can come at any time, not just when you win or lose gambling. So if ever I have to face such a bad condition then I don't know what will happen next but since my relatives are near me they will take care of me.

It's good to hear that you're conscious of your health. Regular check-ups are indeed essential for overall well-being. Is there any specific health aspect or concern you would like to discuss or inquire about?
72  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 01, 2024, 02:13:06 PM
Yeah, the current performance of Brazil is really bad.

But Brazil is really one of the best, if not the best, team historically speaking.

There can be rough patches along the way, but they are a really strong team, and there are many more games to be played yet.

Things will probably change in the future.

Yeah, the current performance of Brazil is indeed disappointing. I hope within a few times Brazil overcome the position again with the talented players. However, considering their remarkable historical achievements, do you think they'll be able to bounce back in the upcoming games?
73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 01, 2024, 02:09:08 PM
Pakistan needs to focus on Test matches. Pakistani team needs to practice more to beat Australia. Pakistan mostly focusing on T20 Matches. We can see they are holding PSL for this purpose.
And you are right we also didn't see Pakistan well in ICC World cup. They did not perform like that which we were expecting. So still they need to practice more. Pakistan should focus all of three formats ODI Test and T20

Absolutely, emphasizing Test matches is crucial for overall team development. Do you think the increasing focus on Test cricket will positively impact Pakistan's performance against Australia? Additionally, with the disappointment in the ICC World Cup, how do you envision Pakistan balancing its emphasis on all three formats for sustained improvement?"

Afghanistan U19 lost the first match from India U19. And they had to win this match to cover up the last match loss. Afghanistan Under Nineteen team tried really well. They set the target of 177 runs for South Africa Under Nineteen team. The target wasn't much higher or you can say it wasn't difficult to chase. But the South African team was not able to chase. They just made 129 runs with all team out. Unfortunately they lost the match. Arab Gul and AM Ghazanfar was good in bowling from Afghanistan. They got 4,4 wickets. So for now, in the point table India and Afghanistan have 2,2 points. And South Africa has zero points.

Afghanistan U19 performed well in their match against South Africa U19, securing a target of 177 runs and winning the match. Arab Gul and AM Ghazanfar played a significant role in the bowling department, each taking 4 wickets. With this victory, Afghanistan U19 has accumulated 2 points in the point table, along with India U19. On the other hand, South Africa U19 has yet to secure any points.

What are your thoughts on Afghanistan's performance and the overall standings in the tournament?
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 01, 2024, 02:03:18 PM
Every religion has peculiar laws on gambling. Even within a religion, there are different interpretations of the content of the Holy Books. I know that gambling is forbidden in Islam regardless of the currency or goods that is used. Even if you use non-monetary materials to gamble, it is Haram in Islam. Some Christian creed accepts gambling, while others see it as a sin. For me, it will be better to obey the dictates of your religion based on the religious book.

My religious organisation sees gambling as immoral but I gamble because it is not forbidden by our religious book. I believe the head of my religious denomination is interpreting the book based on his view. I am looking for any loophole in my religion to gamble, as much as gambling doesn't conflict with my conscience, I will keep playing.

It's essential to consider the interpretations of your religious book and the guidance provided by your religious denomination. Reflecting on the moral implications and potential conflicts with your conscience is also crucial.

How do you reconcile your personal beliefs with the official stance of your religious organization?
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the perception of people about gamblers in your neighborhood? on: January 01, 2024, 01:59:29 PM
It depends on who you ask. If you approach teenagers or students you'll get a positive response since many of them gamble on sports events or play cards for fun.
Machines like claws or slots that give you tickets that you can exchange for gifts are also popular in my area, although many people (wrongly) don't think of them as gambling.
Try asking an old lady on the other hand and you'll get that grumpy style of answer "only bums gamble instead of going to work" or something like that. So, I'd say it's not a matter of location but rather age of people you ask.

Teenagers and students may have a positive response, as many of them engage in sports betting or play cards for fun. In your area, machines like claws or slots that offer tickets for gifts are also popular, though some people may not consider them as gambling.

On the other hand, asking an older lady might elicit a more negative response, with sentiments like "only bums gamble instead of going to work." So, the perception of gambling appears to be influenced by the age group of the individuals you ask.

What are your thoughts on this observation, and do you have any personal experiences or opinions regarding gambling attitudes?
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inflation and crypto gambling on: January 01, 2024, 01:31:30 PM
If crypto casinos feel the need to increase their minimum bets, they will do so with or without informing their gamblers. After all, gamblers will not think too much about whether the minimum bet is increased or remains as before. They just want to gamble and even if the minimum bet is increased, they will still gamble.

But for lottery tickets, this will depend on the situation in each region. If they feel inflation or need to increase their minimum bet, they will announce it in front of their shop. They want their customers to know that now the price of lottery tickets has gone up and it is up to them to keep buying them or look for another shop that is cheaper. Usually, this increase will be carried out jointly in almost all betting shops.

While crypto casinos may adjust minimum bets without notifying gamblers, players typically won't pay much attention to such changes and will continue to gamble. On the other hand, lottery ticket prices may be subject to regional conditions, and if adjustments are needed, betting shops usually announce the increase publicly. Customers are informed about the price hike, allowing them to decide whether to continue buying tickets or seek alternatives.

How do you think these differing approaches impact the perception and behavior of the respective gamblers and lottery players?

That game wasn't so much the Ravens playing great but the Niners playing bad.  The Niners beat themselves last night.

Haha, interesting take! Do you think the Niners' performance was the main factor in the outcome of the game? What could they have done differently?
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 01, 2024, 07:06:09 AM
I didn't think UAE would win a single match against Afghanistan. They performed well and defeated the Afghanistan team by 11 runs. There is no doubt that the UAE team is improving. However, there are no native players of UAE in the squad. UAE management should find native players.
This season we are seeing several new teams doing well. Nepal is playing very well. But I am surprised that countries like USA and Japan are showing some interest in cricket. If these developed countries are interested in cricket, the spread of cricket will be faster.

It's impressive to see the UAE's unexpected success against Afghanistan. Their improvement is evident, but the absence of native players in the squad is a concern. The management should prioritize finding and nurturing local talent. The emergence of new teams performing well, especially in Nepal, is noteworthy. However, the surprise lies in the growing interest of developed countries like the USA and Japan in cricket. This could undoubtedly accelerate the global spread of the sport.

What are your thoughts on UAE's performance and the need for native players? Are you also surprised by the interest in cricket from countries like the USA and Japan?
80  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: January 01, 2024, 06:58:05 AM
Gambling has been a part of our lives if you are an active gambler, and as this year is about to end, I would like to know your New Year's resolution.

Thank you for the New Year wishes! As a gambler, reflecting on the past year and setting resolutions is indeed a unique perspective. My New Year's resolution is to approach gambling with more strategic planning and discipline, rather than avoiding it altogether. I believe it's important to embrace the essence of the activity while ensuring responsible practices.
