Vertcoin market cap at $480k is so low it's comparable with joke coins like Karmacoin, and dropping like a rock while Litecoin has remained stable for 3 months. No one cares about ASIC resistance, try explaining that to the man on the street and see what reaction you get. Perversely you may see some renewed interest in the coin and a value boost from the Titan owners when Scrypt-N capability is added to the firmware.

If my thoughts are wrong, guys, correct me, please. Ironically the only way to mine Vertcoin directly and profitably now is with a Scrypt-N ASIC. One supplier is quoting 2.5MH/s for 18W (yes W not kW). This wouldn't be the first time doggedly sticking to ideology was the instrument of downfall. The coin needs more fundamental rethought than the devs are prepared to offer.
