My problem with this so called "investors" is simply we will never know whether they're a genuine investor with deep pockets to support the growth of VTC or just a small time pump and dump trader bidding his time to dump thousands of his VTC stash.

once the price hit new hights - you even can't amagine how many new people will discover vtc for themselves (= mass adoption, new followers and belivers, more miners, ... all that you dreamed about)

A greedy-trader would've immediately dump at that height he spoke of despite whatever comforting words he used.
He does have a good point I admit, if something can be done to fix the inflation/price issue let's do so without sacrificing the miners and the whole coin per-se.

Bitcoin never forked anything fundamental i.e algorithm, difficulty adjustment, block reward, etc...IIRC They did fork something in the blockchain transaction but none of what these so called "investors" asked for...BTC has its share of drop too and nothing was done to stabilize price by changing what these so-called "investors" asked for...

just because you read it on the internets does not make it so...all of the companies purporting to be taking preorders for n-scrypt asics have no track record, none of them have ever produced a single asic (or anything else for that matter afaik) - they're likely scams.

any company that did legitimately invest big in n-scrypt asic probably feels pretty stupid now, at least if they're planning on making all their money back mining vtc and exe

Why devs don't want to migrate Vertcoin to other, more "cold" algo? Right now I must to mine x11-13 and change coins to vtc.
Now scrypt-n is too hot for all miners in summer

Maybe we could pay a "bribe" to btc-e to add vertcoin to their market ? I dont understand why people belive in magic x11/x13/x15 colder and energy saver algo. It's just modified Intensity and lower hashrate thats all. You can lower your intensity with the same effect. They washed our brains It works only becouse lower memory consumption and the hashrate is bigger than normaln scrypt and scrypt-n.
