i tried bitcasino, nitrogen sports, mbitcasino and cloudbet, they all let me bet on a match, but noone on the outright winners of the tournament, which is the bet i'm looking to place. I got 11/1 odds on Ireland on directbet, which seems to be the only place offering it
104  Economy / Gambling / Disappointed at Rugby World Cup bitcoin betting options on: September 20, 2015, 04:12:58 PM
Hi all,

I just was writing http://bitcoinsinireland.com/rugby-world-cup-bitcoin-betting-go-on-ireland/ as I'd gotten 0.1 bitcoin and wanted to bet on Ireland to win the Rugby World Cup, but was pretty disappointed at my options. DirectBet took my bet, but several other sites I looked at didn't have any options, just match betting, most of which was suspended.

Anyone come across any bitcoin sites giving odds on the Rugby World Cup overall winner?

Thanks

Jamie

Hi Melisande,

I am doing that as well, but there may be some of the sites which I don't come across who might use bitcointalk, so that's why I'm posting Smiley

Hallo allerseits,

Jamie

Hi all,

I am working with CoinMate.io, the UK registered bitcoin exchange. This is at https://www.coinmate.io

We're currently formulating an advertising strategy, and wanted to reach out to bitcoin site owners, who can offer us the ability to target European traffic in general, and then in particular German, Czech and Polish speaking countries.

We have two things we're looking for.

Firstly, we have a referral program that shares 50% of our maker/taker fees (0.05%/0.35% respectively), for six months from the data of registration. These can be used in banners, text links, forum signatures etc. This is currently open now, you just need to register an account.

Secondly, we have a modest advertising budget as well, which we're looking to spread across several European based, or German, Czech or Polish language sites. We'd like to speak to site owners in these countries who can offer geo-targeted, and frequency capped reasonably priced CPM/CPC or CPA.

If you'd like to give us a quote please pm me, or email jamie [at] bitcoinmarketingteam [dot] com

Yours sincerely

Jamie
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 07-04-2015 - #BitcoinSurvey May & June Prizes sent on: July 04, 2015, 12:54:20 AM
Hi all,

Made a big update to the OP.

I got locked out somehow from my polldaddy account, but after three weeks and a very helpful developer (thanks Donncha), finally got access to the survey results today. I will now be able to prepare a second interim report based on this data.

We also now have access to the Spanish and German localisations we did before, and have also gotten Finnish and Arabic localisations of the survey, to continue trying to reach our quota of 1000

So first up, is the important thing. 0.5 bitcoin for March and April entrants was already sent out, but the May prizes of 5x 0.05 bitcoin are outstanding, as is the 0.25 winner.

The bitcoin for these have been sitting for a while at https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/1LUD7xavJo1um3toduKCpKu1tcKM4RmgPD

There were only 15 responses in May, and 13 put in wallet addresses. Winners were picked using http://www.miniwebtool.com/random-name-picker/ removing the winner from the following draw.

1PTqL5M6EUSS6qauNvcBBh8Z8YtLiuQGd4
1MwRfqWgWSUFa4L8FYon3MoKm2EPQcNZqq
1KQtiRVB7x8h7R7aLbHTqAzN4YNv5d8GQf
1NyWsJBzzfDBpLEA4h1JAQtm3v9KQQM9Z
1HAhy2peNsN3wteF34ZEJ53ESpkkBhro71

And now for the grand prize 0.25, all 232 bitcoin addresses for responses to the survey were put in, and the following wins 0.25 bitcoin. Drumroll.....

1M6ELX8c1g95ApJzcYCsGGipsAeYf7RvWN

These payments were sent and proof of payment is available for all to see at https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/cf0ae22ac318bdada6ec9757d4bb3bd724c8aa471bd0bca554a73b1a91ff8483 . One wallet address was invalid, but they put in an email address and I've emailed them so theirs went through https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/abb36150560fa7b85c574b04a4f0512d53c2a4e13f828ef3b3ce515f6778d079 .

So this concludes our promise of distributing one bitcoin to participants in the English survey. Stay tuned for a writeup, and Spanish, German, Finnish & Arabic versions of the survey!

Cheers

Hi all,

I got locked out somehow from my polldaddy account, but after three weeks and a very helpful developer (thanks Donncha), finally got access to the survey results today. I will now be able to prepare a second interim report based on this data. The original post is at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=987941.0;all

We also now have access to the Spanish and German localisations we did, which will be launching shortly, to continue trying to reach our quota of 1000, and it stands at 266 people right now. Hi all,

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=987941.msg11261767#msg11261767 has details of proof of payment, I've sent out the five prizes this morning (yesterday I was on the other side of Ireland away from my PC with work)

Thanks for everyone who participated. If you didn't win, you're still in with a chance of winning 0.25 bitcoin in June, and if you haven't responded yet, there's another 0.25 bitcoin up for May responses, before the survey closes on May 31st.

Cheers for everyone who participated!

You all have 0.05 bitcoin each winging their way across the blockchain. Proof of payment - https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/599621c0d8a226222028900d101fc27fe242cc5c0b5ff0d39835cb25fa35cd94

If you didn't win in April, you still have a chance at the grand prize of 0.25 bitcoin in June, and people can still do the survey which runs until the end of May.

Verified! I already participated in the survey but I wanted to be sure that you have the coins.

That's completely fair enough, and why I put up the wallet address to begin with. My first time signing a message for this purpose too Smiley

0.25 bitcoin was already distributed for March responses, but there were 170, so a much better chance this month. 0.25 bitcoin just for responses in April (60 so far) which will be sent first week of May, another 0.25 bitcoin for May responses which will be sent first week of June.
