So got a mining question, using an older BFL jelly miner, and its using bfgminer 4.8 / 5.3 both 64 bit versions, both are starting at the correct hash rate ~ 7 gh/s then as they get switch between pools us/eu servers the hash drops to > 1 gh/s. is this normal for this pool? I know renters can choose their hash rate, are they slowing down my miner cause its been rented?
Icon
** Update *
The slow down is happening on alt coins currently is showing ~ network diff is 2.2 ph/s on some coin, not btc coin.. humm
Try adding additional parameters for pool (with latest BFGminer): stratum+tcp://sha256.eu.nicehash.com:3334/#xnsub#skipcbcheck or for USA location stratum+tcp://sha256.usa.nicehash.com:3334/#xnsub#skipcbcheck

I guess they could be waiting like most of us and they don't have one to test on.
Exactly, still waiting... Any word on when they will release the firmware for it?
Bitmaintech decided to do another "not nice" thing with S7 - they did not release the source code for S7 cgminer driver. As far as I understood Yoshi, they even don't intend to do it (have no idea what are they hiding). That said, it is rather impossible to make any tweaks for their cgminer whatsoever. As you can see they are still using very very old cgminer version 4.8.0, but even so, extranonce.subscription should be included since they included it into firmwares for S5 .... try adding #xnsub when connecting to NiceHash (stratum+tcp://sha256.eu.nicehash.com:3334#xnsub, stratum+tcp://sha256.usa.nicehash.com:3334#xnsub) ... should be stable (but can't confirm since we still don't have test miners...). Keep on hashing

Hello, Why hashimoto Ethereum's algo not added on NiceHash or on Miningrigrentals? ...I m asking... :-)
We're very much interested in adding Dagger hashimoto Ethereum-based algorithm to NiceHash. We have actually already spent quite some time on researching this matter. The issue is that Ethereum want their own way with mining protocol and they only included Getwork-like protocol for mining. There is no stratum support and therefore including Dagger Ethereum-based algorithm into our service is not trivial (that's also the reason why there aren't any decent renting service available whatsoever). Basically there are two options: 1. Either Ethereum includes stratum protocol into their stack: we have already been asking the community https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/3068/stratum-support-for-pooled-mining-support-decentralization#latest -> zero response; and we've also contacted StephanTual of Ethereum, he said he will check with devs, but there was no further response. (see also here: https://github.com/ethereum/cpp-ethereum/issues/43) 2. Someone writes Ethereum's Getwork-like -> Stratum mining protocol proxy. That would require some programming effort, but is doable. If this proxy would exist, then the system would work like this: miner -> local (lightweight) stratum-proxy -> NiceHash -> any Dagger Ethereum-based algorithm pool This would yield significant boost to any Dagger hashimoto Ethereum-based coin since NiceHash is by far the most widely used system for renting and buying hashing power. Think about our proposals and let us know if you can find someone for the Dagger stratum-proxy job ... we're even willing to finance the development.

I would be great to see EXPANSE 'Dagger' Algo added to NiceHash.. I wonder what the consensus among the mining community is for something like this? I cant wait to see what the next batch of goodies the Dev team have plans for releasing next? I'm sure you don't need me to say this but i'll say it anyway: good luck & great job! That sounds like a good idea. Im surprised betarigs hasnt stepped up too. +1 sounds good Sure, we're very much interested in adding Dagger Ethereum-based algorithm. i cannot mining i have 2 miner Pool host: stratum.solo.nicehash.com Pool port: 3334 Pool user: 3MvxQFxQ1kk71kC1aY9MmaQvhhptvSpJk7 Pool pass: diff_655xx Algorithm: SHA256

OK Sending mining.authorize... OK Received mining.notify subscription... OK Received unknown stratum message. Received mining.notify work... OK Received mining.set_difficulty... OK: 65536 Received authorization result... OK i want mining Your guide custumer service,,icannot find block ini solo nice hash
First of all, please change "Pool pass: diff_655xx" ... 655xx is invalid number, you should try diff_65536 instead. Second, what exactly is your issue? Are you saying that the order is not not hashing, it's Inactive (Dead)? Please keep in mind that you have to mine long enough or with hashing power big enough to be able to quickly find a Bitcoin block due to very high Bitcoin network difficulty. Kind regards, NiceHash

Anyone having problems with #xnsub flag on cgminer? I cant use #xnsub flag with price settings, if i setup price with extranonce enabled, pool never goes "dead" but no work issued to miner. Cgminer 4.9.0 for bitmain miners from bitmaintech repo. If i disable #xnsub, price setting work as expected, nicehash pool goes "dead" and switches to backup pool
This is due to incomplete implementation of xnsub patch in the bitmaintech repo (details here: https://github.com/bitmaintech/cgminer/pull/7). If you're using AntMiner S5 we welcome you to install our patched firmware with corrected xnsub patch and also with added performance graphs. You can download if here: https://www.nicehash.com/sw/SD-S5-20150415_nicehash_perf_graphs.tar.gzHere is an example of performance graphs: https://www.nicehash.com/sw/SD-S5-20150415_nicehash_perf_graphs_screenshot.pngWe'll soon provide updated firmwares for other AntMiners as well (S4, C1, etc.). p.s.: based on our testing the 4.9.0 version does not work well with antminers ... use 4.8.0 instead.

Nevertheless the majority of found blocks in this pool are probably from NiceHash (based on our stats) ... it's cheaper and easier to use. Just to add: there is no such thing as "quality of hash" ... it's just luck, you select a Casino (ckpool in this case) and a Croupier (for example, NiceHash). We assure you that none of our coders are " Coolers" ... and of course ... never forget to say the charms and spells before you click submit. Good luck!

I notice that you changed the multiplier of X11, quark etc. What is the required miner to achieve that?
No, we haven't changed multipliers, they are still set as described here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgoWhat you're noticing is that Scrypt profitability has halved and thus the ratio between Scrypt and other algorithms has doubled.

Hi, are the fees different when using the nicehashbot ? I started some orders of 0.2btc and the orders started with 0.184btc?
No, fees are of course not set by bot but by the service itself and therefore the fees are the same no matter how you submit an order (via web, via API or via Bot). Please take a look at your transaction history and you'll see the details of your transactions and fees. Best regards, NiceHash

Link for connect titan miner at nicehash pool
Server link
You can mine Scrypt or Scrypt-N (ScryptNf algorithm with n=11 setting) with Titans. You can see profitability ratio at our homepage https://www.nicehash.com ... if profitability of ScryptNf is better then Scrypt, then you can connect to ScryptNf port: stratum+tcp://scryptnf.eu.nicehash.com:3335/#xnsub#skipcbcheck otherwise connect to standard Scrypt port: stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333/#xnsub#skipcbcheck (change .eu with .usa depending on your location) Thank you for using our service!

I see in your Auto-Switching Multi-Algorithm sgminer example that you have both the whirlpoolx and Lyra2REv2 algorithms.
Is there a version of sgminer that supports both the whirlpoolx algorithm and Lyra2REv2?
No, currently we are not aware of any sgminer version, that would support both, therefore you should disable either of the algorithm (by using fX=0). We hope that sgminer devs will soon release a version of sgminer that would support both algorithms. Kind regards, NiceHash.

ethereum pool will run?
Unfortunately Ethereum doesn't support stratum protocol for mining, therefore integration of Ether mining in NiceHash is not possible at the moment. But we're already working on it and we will try to add support for it in the future.

Short notice for miners on Lyra2REv2: Please note that if you're using sgminer under Windows you should NOT use AMD Catalyst driver 15.x since you'll only get HW errors on Lyra2REv2 algorithm. Instead use 14.4 Catalyst drivers.
