KnC Titan users:

We suggest you to use #xnsub AND #skipcbcheck parameters to get stable mining on NiceHash or WestHash, example:

stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com/#xnsub#skipcbcheck

With those settings you'll be able to get a stable 350 Mh/s average speed with fw 1.95 overclocking at 325MHs.

Proof:

btw: average NiceHash/WestHash Scrypt profitability is aprox. 25% more then direct Litecoin mining.

Does anyone know if the AntMiner S5 supports #xnsub?

Not yet, but we are working with Bitmain to provide #xnsub support for AntMiner S5 as well as  AntMiner S4 . It should be available very soon, we'll post here when it's ready.

From the 4 days I have been pointed to westhash, I have only been paid once a day...  Is it different if I point to nicehash?

Please, take a look at this FAQ: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqs5

Nicehash scrypt pool down for anyone else or just me?

I'm having trouble as well but the graphs still show hashrate...

We are not experiencing any issues at the moment. If you can't connect to stratum.nicehash.com:3333 please also try stratum.westhash.com:3333. If you are still having issues please send us email to support@nicehash.com and specify your miner type, btc address used for mining and your public IP address so that we can check for your connection issues. Thank you for using our service.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Question] To mine or Not to mine? on: January 06, 2015, 08:34:45 AM
Just download latest sgminer (https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=software#sgminer) and configure multi-algo mining on NiceHash (with energy efficient algos X11, X13, X15, NeoScrypt, Lyra2RE) ... https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo ... it your hw is paid you'll be able to earn a few bits out of mining while you sleep Wink

We welcome all Scrypt miners to try our pool. It pays in average 20% more then direct Litecoin mining. Check stats at https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=stats (Scrypt tab) and point your miner to stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3333 or stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3333!

Hi, pls can you tell me where can I get source code for binary of "sgminer-5.1-2014-12-20-linux-amd64.zip"? I want to compile myself a miner able to mine all gpu nicehash algos (x11, x13.... Neoscrypt, Lyra)

Neither branch in
https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/tree/develop
supports Lyra, only Neoscrypt

Thank you

You can use this GIT - it is the most up to date: https://github.com/badman74/sgminer

Hopefully sgminer devs will soon merge these changes to sgminer-dev GIT repo as well.

SHA56 is showing a lowly 1% plus above ... been negative since the rush a couple of weeks ago

Please keep in mind that our pool pays on PPS system. When mining on regular PPLNS Bitcoin pool (the majority of popular pools) you will hardly achieve regular Bitcoin mining price rate ... this is because the payment rate depends on luck on regular Bitcoin pools (variance) and you would actually have to switch pools just before they find blocks to archive regular Bitcoin mining price rate (and you would need a crystal ball for this Wink ). That said, mining on NiceHash is very profitable even when it shows a few percents below regular Bitcoin mining price rate, because of our PPS payment system.

Can anybody tell me why pools show up often as OFFLINE lately to me?
Only sporadically connected to Nicechash Multialgo Sad

The same situation is happening to me.  The port for the most profitable coin is not open in multialgo mining.

Are you 100% sure that you have all the algorithms configured with ALL your NiceHash / WestHash pools/profiles configurations?

You have to configure pools/profiles with blank password ("pass") parametere for all multi-algo algorithms with default parameters, or if you want to select only a subset of algorithms you have to set fX=0 to disable a particular fX algorithm.

Please take a carefull look at the configuration examples here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo#examples

If you have proper configuration then multi-algo will work 100%. The issues with "all multi-algo ports being down" is always related to sgminer misconfiguration (some algorithm missing).

We are also sorry to hear that TMB is shutting down, it was one of recommended pools for our hashing power buyers. Anyways, if you are a miner and you are looking for a decent multi-algo replacement in the meanwhile we welcome you to our try and point you miners to NiceHash multialgo pool ... https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo#finetuning We are looking forward to see TMB stratums alive again one day!

If you're looking for a new pool, check out Suchmoon's profitability thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=514242.0

I ended up moving to NiceHash for scrypt mining after having a good experience with them during the Paycoin excitement. I didn't mine Paycoin, but made a lot of profit renting to those that did.

And hopefully Suchmoon will soon add our multi-algo profitability ... our multi-algo is proven to give the best profits for GPU miners because it switches among all the best algorithms. Check out https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo

Another info is that there is no need to change any other settings with SP20, because by default --queue is set to 1 which works fine. The only thing You have to do with SP20 is to buy one, do fw upgrade (it is pretty easy to do) and point unit to Your favorite pool.

And when using our pool with SP20 do not forget to set xnsub: stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334#xnsub or stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334#xnsub

NiceHash is not a pool YO

Nicehash is good pool for all coin from bitcoin to alt coin as scrypt , x11,x13 ... Many thanks

Well, NiceHash is not an ordinary Bitcoin pool, but as far as miners are concerned it works exactly the same as any other pool - you connect you miners to NiceHash pool and you're paid in Bitcoins, as simple as that. Moreover, you get paid on PPS system without any variance which guarantees you stable and better payouts then regular Bitcoin pools. And it is even better for Scrypt or GPU mining where you are paid much more then direct Litecoin or Darkcoin mining.

Pool down?
Yep, another multipool down, as seen with wafflepool.

wafflepool and trademybit gave it up, but we are still here for you! But obviously we are one of the last ones big enough to be interesting for DDoS ... unfortunately. We are currently again under another type of DDoS which is hard to filter, but we mitigated the attack on NiceHash, working on WestHash now.

Fresh sgminer binaries with optimized Lyra2RE algorithm (by djm34) and support for multi-algo are available: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=software#sgminer (thanks badman74 for windows build). Do not forget to include ";f9=1.5" to the password parameter of your NiceHash multi-algo configuration if you want to enable Lyra2RE for multi-algo.

I have problems with my eyes.
I see only sgminer-5.1-dev-2014-11-13-win32.zip that does not work with l2re

Sorry, our software page was accidentally reverted to an older revision ... we fixed that now and you can download the sgminer-5.1-2014-12-20 binaries.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N][X11] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: December 23, 2014, 08:21:56 PM
PLEASE!!! Just launch wafflepool as soon as possible! I don't even need my lost payout (about 0.1btc) I just want to continue my mining process, because for those days while waffle stays broken i've already lost much more profit than 0.1btc!

So let me get this straight, because the pool is down you're not mining?  There are dozens of other profit switching pools out there!!!  I really liked Wafflepool, but it goes down I switch to another pool!!!

So, are there any other X11 multi-coin --> bitcoin pools out there? I know about the darkcoin specific pools, (and use some for backup) but are there any other Waffle like X11 pools?  Clever is Script only as far as I know which is no longer viable for GPU miners and many of the other multipools are gone or dead like Hashcows (or might as well be).

Already starting to gather some gear to transform former mining gear into some nice triple and quad crossfire gaming boxes for Elite:Dangerous and Star Citizen.... but would like to squeeze the last bits of mining I can out of the old workhorses before I shift them over to space simulator duty.

You might try and point you miners to NiceHash multialgo pool and use X11, X15, NeoScrypt and Lyra2RE algos (all energy efficient)... https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo#finetuning
758  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: December 23, 2014, 04:14:20 PM
I did a short test with the original cgminer on the s1, but currently I think it also shows the same problems.
my S3 behave a little bit better with the payout threshold, but not 100%

Which binary for AntMiner S1 are you using? You should use the latest version from our download page (https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=software#cgminer) because the first version that was provided by 7queue indeed had the idlebug ... but this should be fixed in the latest version from our download page. If you still having issues you could maybe ask 7queue to look into it at this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=850620

We don't have AntMiners S1 in our lab, but we do have AntMiners S3 as well as Spondoolies SP20s and we can confirm that the binaries for S3 and SP20 are working 100% correct with extranonce.subscribe and price-limitation switching.

If you have AMD GPU you can try NiceHash multi-algo mining ... it will switch between most profitable algorithms and give you best payouts: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=multialgo
