Hi
Are there any plans to support sia coin?
Yes, we are working on implementing stratum support. Should be ready soon. Best regards, NiceHash team.

Are the NiceHash employees the ones raising the bid??
No, we are not placing orders, it is not our core business to mine coins, our core business is to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, implementing free market hashing power marketplace. Once I get a good bid in, the price skyrockets wayy over .01 and all my miners leave, does it ever end???
Bidding orders are meant to be competitive. If you need fixed price orders, choose "Fixed order type", see also https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=faq#faqb0. Best regards, NiceHash team.

Hi everybody! Plz help me with info of mining speed using NH Miner 1.6 on Gigabyte R9 280x , Dagger Hashimoto algo. Net tells that it can run on 21-24 MH/s , but I am getting only 18.2 Mh/s max. ( tried different clocks : 950-1195 Mhz core , 1350-1600 Mhz memory). May be its really max for my card ?
18 MHs is realistic for this GPU at this moment. Please note that while DAG file is increasing, AMD GPUs are slower on Dagger-Hashimoto, therefore benchmarking results from the past are not relevant anymore. We've just updated the official speed reporting for various GPUs in our Profitability calculator, see here: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=calc

Why does my GPU fan speed go to ~100% even with a temperature below 80ºC when mining Lyra2Rev2 and Neoscrypt? Its GPU fan speed is set to automatic only when mining Dagger-Hashimoto, but I'm unable to mine Lyra2Rev2 and Neoscrypt because of the annoying noise and also because I get worried of the GPU fan lifespan. My graphics card is HIS R9 280X IceQ Boost Clock 3GB GDDR5 PCI-E DLDVI-I/HDMI/2xMini DP.
Please note that mining on GPUs utilizes 100% of your GPU card and will make GPU very hot. This is unavoidable. You can disable NiceHash Miner application control over your fan by setting "DisableAMDTempControl" to true in the config file or Config settings ... see here: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner#options

Dear users, NiceHash now provides extended support for placing orders on Ethereum and other Dagger-Hashimoto algorithm-based pools with older stratum specifications. Besides the already supported full EthereumStratum/1.0.0 specification, NiceHash now also supports older stratum specification. This older specification is by default used by several pools, such as ethpool, ethermine, coinotron, mph, nanopool, etc. (see -SP 0 option in ethminer). With this extended support you can now place orders by pointing hashing power to any of the pools with this stratum version, which includes pools for Ethereum as well as other coins based on Dagger-Hashimoto (such as Expanse). However please note that this older specification is not fully-stratum compatible and may produce a particular (small) percentage of duplicates. If you encounter duplicates on your order we encourage you to contact your preferred pool operator and suggest them to implement the full EthereumStratum/1.0.0 specification. Thank you for your support and keep on mining! Best regards, NiceHash team

Anybody know how to get the antminer S9 to hash on NICEHASH it just does not hash all other sites are OK. please help A.S.A.P ?
The issue is that Bitmain developed (or forked) their own mining software, called BMMiner. This software is obviously a bit buggy and does not fully support official stratum and it is thus currently not compatible with NiceHash (and probably some other pools, too). We are already in contact with Bitmain and they promised to release a new firmware in a couple of days. Stay tuned, we'll post here as well as on Twitter as soon as the new firmware is released. Best regards, NiceHash team.

I have a small problem with a new rig I brought online yesterday. Nicehash shows it is mining Daggerhashimoto ,but when I look at the webpage I can only see my ASIC X11 miner and Daggerhashimoto is not listed as one of the algros I can mine. The unit did benchmark Daggerhashimoto and Decreed okay. So where do I look to see how my miner is doing. I am using the same BTC wallet for both rigs.
What rig exactly are you talking about? What GPUs do you have?

Ethereum is out now but the promise to pay 'unexchanged' when that happened did not happen. What are we waiting for now?
Small payments will be processed during this weekend.

I put that but I can not mine why stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333_num/#xnsub#skipcbcheck You have an error (_num) Put this: stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333/#xnsub#skipcbcheck

one thing that would make this software really shine would be the ability to set a minimum mining payout threshold. if all of the coins you have selected go under this value, the miner stops and the pc sits idle.

Hi, I'm trying to buy Expanse mining hash, but it seems to fail. What pool do you recommend?
We are not sure if any pool is yet compatible. We announced to all pools that they should add NiceHash compatibility but not sure if any of them added support yet. If you have some preferred pool for Expanse please contact them and point them to this thread with instructions: https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/7346/bounty-for-ethereum-pool-operators-to-add-nicehash-compatibility/p1it is written for Ethereum pools but the same applies for any pool/coin, based on Dagger-Hashimoto. Thanks!
