I know I'm insignificant and my business won't hurt but both moolah and mintpal have lost a future customer. As soon as this mess is squared away I'm dumping all sys and pulling all my btc out of mintpal. Bittrex will have my business from now on, good day sir

Our agreement with Syscoin includes a window of opportunity for them to fix issues that pop up after launch.

That will be a surprise to many investors. I am sure you are familiar with the UK commercial law that requires full transparency from the parties when performing escrow type of contracts. It seems to me you failed in that and even the best solicitors won't be able to help you when it goes to HM Court.

+1

Let's say syscoin fixes issues and moolah releases funds and devs abandon coin. Moolah would lose credibility and it would be the official death of mintpal. Your move moolah

So moolah offers escrow on the terms of a fully functional product. Products werent met. Now we arent being given back our btc... am I missing something here. Did the terms and conditions outline a time? Yes.. the launch date. It failed. Moolah I know its alot of work, but your not sticking to your words here. You have failed us. Syscoin is dead forever, no coin will survive after screwing over every investor.

Our agreement with Syscoin included a launch window to allow the developers the opportunity to fix any issues that popped up. We are still within that window, and the developers are actively working to resolve those issues. We have stated repeatedly that we will process refunds if the developers fail to deliver a working product, what we are not going to do however, is jump the gun and do that while attempts to resolve are in process.

For the sake of full clarity, we are hereby giving the Syscoin team 48 hours as of 1800 GMT this evening; to deliver a stable and working product. If at 1800 GMT on August 20th, the coin is still in a completely non-usable state (multiple forks, wallet corruption, service issues, mining issues, etc) and no progress has been made; we will begin the process of fully refunding coin holders at ICO rates. If good progress has been made (and only lesser issues remain), we will readdress this issue. If the coin is fully resolved? Great, escrow released. I will be communicating this to the Syscoin team momentarily.

That's your agreement with syscoin, not mine. Me as an investor was not told about a special deadline to iron the "kinks" out . You should have made that information public and available so I as an investor could have made a more informative decision.

No ones trying to kill this coin.. the devs killed it themselves.. 5x profit, lol are you delusional, this coin is the biggest joke in crypto history. I will no longer be doing business with moolah or mintpal. I don't care if they believe in this coin, I don't because it doesn't work.

It's an ALT coin with tons of features, no surprise they have some problems.  The real surprise IMHO is https://moolah.io/ and the fact they seem to be hedging so much on the grant of escrow services.  If anything I think it's the Moolah reputation that will sink now, even if the coin does well.

Exactly +100 I hope the devs pull through and syscoin takes off but given the history of alt coins that's a bet I'm not willing to take. I only invested because of escrow provided by moolah under the stipulations we have at the least a working product. I'm not here to believe in a coin, I make profit, that's what I do and as an investor, I believe that profit is gone because of our non functioning product. I hope moolah will provide refunds for those that want them, you guys can keep your hopes and syscoin, I'll gladly walk away with my now undervalued btc.

Newbie, Grin, can you use your main account to post in this ANN.

This is my only and main account I've lurked here for months but recently decided to sign up.. I'm not spreading fud, I'm an extremely concerned investors and given the history of alts you should be too. I hold moolah responsible not the devs, they simply didn't meet the deadline.. no problem, escrow denied and money should be returned. No one deserves anything, this is a failed product, simple as that.

I got it to work after 10 tries. Not sure what happened. Just to warn people -

Dont use the bootstrap.dat provided by the devs. Use the nodes being provided:
addnode=76.25.201.234:8369
addnode=67.253.247.113:8369
addnode=node.syscoin.me:6369

Try 10-15 times or bang your head on your keyboard and it might work.

Thank you! Working now, afraid to restart it though.

EDIT:
fatal error
EXCEPTION: St13runtime error
CDB() can't open database file wallet.dat  error - 30974

Oh that was a nice headache, try moving your back up out of appdata and reinsert original wallet.dat with empty balance, resync close and then place back-up in appdata
Doesnt work. if you try replacing the wallet.dat it just gets stuck. IF not, it will sync up, show your balance and fail to re-launch.
Personally I am now waiting for 1.2 version, current version is just crap.

I have'nt even tried restarting yet, damn.. your probably right, what a shit storm

Just update the wallet they say, lol We've had to manually update the update so we provided you mis-information regarding that update to manually update lol wtf

No problem for me cupcake  Grin I only invested 1 btc Moolah and mintpal will forever lose my business and I'm sure after this. No one will want to go back there. Are you reading, mintpal? This was a failed coin from the start and met non of the criteria as a working coin. Refund to build customers faith in your exchange

Real quick, since my knowledge is limited to investing and basic computer skills... how the fuck do I know if I'm on a fork?

Whales of twitter are bad mouthing this bad.. never seen so much before. The game plan was to troll you out of your coins, mission accomplished. Sure the devs didn't have a perfect launch but believe me when I tell you this hasn't even started yet. Massive pump will come I guarantee you, where we go from there is all up to the devs but for those selling now you just missed the perfect entry point with limited coin supply, bravo. The price is holding at above 600 lol where do you think it will go once the fork is fixed?

I have a bucket full of coins that I a'm holding! No dump here, yet.

I waited ready at launch.. I pre-planned to buy in case something went wrong during launch or I couldn't get them on an exchange fast enough. I was one of the lucky few that sold at above 1000 sats. I did'nt have time to screw around with keypair or inputting nodes..

This wallet crashed and I can't get it to open, anyone can help out? It's minimized to tray and won't open, didn't back up yet.. fuck!!

Try opening up your task manager (CTRL ALT DEL) and closing out the wallet manually and then
try launching it again.

Tried this multiple times but didn't work. Ended up deleting syscoin.conf file added earlier for nodes. Reopened wallet and everything's up and running and more importantly wallet is encrypted and backed up!!  Grin
