1041  Economy / Trading Discussion / ID proof on Localbitcoins on: June 17, 2016, 07:56:47 AM
I am a trader on localbitcoins, and a lot of people say I sell bitcoins too, for neteller send me their ID proof to verify identity. But whats a safe practice to prevent identity theft ? I recently dealt with a guy who charged back and I later found out that he was using some other guys ID and even had that guy fooled(saying he was using his ID for some purpose).

Whats a good way about in general to send or receive ID cards without falling into identity theft ?
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: newbie question - buy/sell diff on: June 17, 2016, 07:50:53 AM
BTC's price have 100$ different from any exchange to OKCOIN.COM,when you sell BTC for 750$ each, you can sell 850$ on okcoin.com,you just need to coin on local exchange, then send your coin to okcoin and sell it on CFD of september.if you think it's usefull, follow my referal link:https://www.okcoin.com/?invid=2041092

Thats not what the Op is asking about. This(your post) is what is called as arbitrage , that is seeing different prices on different exchanges, then buying at one and selling at the other. However not much profitable.

@Op, I believe what you mean is the Spread like whodaddy said. Say If there are 2 buyers and 2 sellers. Sellers wants 100$ for 1 btc, but the buyer 1 wants to pay only 98$ for the buy order. And buyer 2, wants to pay 95$. So the difference between buy and sell is 2$(100-98). Now if the buyer 1, decides to just buy it at 100, and buys from seller 1. So buyer1's order gets filled. Leaving new buy price at 95. Now say seller 1 has 2 more btc left at 100$, so now the spread will increase to 5$ and is the difference that you see when buying/selling.
1043  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Neteller scammer << \ steal my $$ out account and not give back. on: June 17, 2016, 07:45:03 AM
Unfortunately this is very true. Had my neteller account banned as well, for no reason yet(haven't heard back). It was banned after I deposited money on it, and before that I could login and logout without any problems.

One thing I really hate about them is that they take your money once they ban your account. They should refund the amount and close the account instead of stealing the money.
1044  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 17, 2016, 07:43:08 AM
I am comfortable with a few sites, but I am not at all comfortable putting uploading or giving my ID to anyone to any of the bitcoin sites. Don't feel comfortable sending it to even gambling sites. I am also a trader on localbitcoins, and see people send me fake ID's of some other guy, and clearly these are cases of identity theft.
1045  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for super-cheap servers on: June 17, 2016, 07:36:08 AM
Just a suggestion to get this. Look into buying one of the cheap AWS coupons. Not sure what the source is, but I have friends who had bought one last year, so they probably are just part of some promotion. You can get access to amazon servers through that and also have access to other AWS services in the time being.
1046  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Cheap Hosting Packages - Starting From $0.15 Per Month on: June 17, 2016, 06:37:33 AM
Does a faucet or a temporary gambling site count as an illegal site ? In the op it says illegal sites will not be allowed to be hosted on the server.
I use his service on my faucet site, and it's my third month now. So, basically, it allows faucet. I don't know about gambling.

And which pack have you been running for the same ? Small pack or some thing else ? And does the hosting come with Litespeed ?
1047  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastBitRoulette.com Under New Ownership! FREE BTC TO TRY IT (See Thread) on: June 17, 2016, 06:30:33 AM
Is it just me or is the site down right now ? Would love to try the site out as well. Will edit this post with the address once the site is back up.

Was having issues for a few minutes but seems to be back. Let me know the address

Still shows down for me.
Oh fastbitroullete has new owner? Dont you have any doubts that is it good to buy this site?? Fastbitroulette owners have many scammy issue accusations and linked with rollincoin.com.

And also the previous owner is mocking up mr.lutpin and for buying it you really need hardwork to prove that the site you buy is liable to trust with.

I believe once a site changes hand, then being a different owner changes a lot of things. Also I believe the scam accusation was opened after TraderCal put his bid on the auction.
1048  Local / India / Re: What is the Min & Max rate against which u have sold your Bitcoin in INR? on: June 17, 2016, 06:26:47 AM
Feels bad to even discuss this. Min rate for me was close to 15-16K, and the max rate was day before yesterday at 47K. Most of it has been in the 400-500$ range though. Otherwise I usually keep trading at localbitcoins as a trader, but that is never my personal stack.
1049  Local / India / Re: is there any trusted sites where i can buy bitcoins via credit card or paypal on: June 17, 2016, 06:24:54 AM
please suggest me TRUSTED sites where i can buy bitcoins via credit card or paypal
You can buy bitcoin with credit card on some exchanges like Circle . For Paypal, there is Virwox, but I would suggest using someone trusted on the forum at currency Exchange to do the trade.

1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: June 16, 2016, 06:20:44 AM
If bitcoin exchanges and regular casino gambling is accepted in China, then why wouldn't bitcoin gambling be accepted as well?

Why would China only "protect" its citizens from bitcoin gambling and not other forms of gambling? Well, I guess I could understand why China would "protect" its citizens just like the US "protects" its citizens - "Protecting" citizens basically means banning whatever it is they are "protecting" the people from until the government gets its cut of whatever it is.

Gambling is different from exchanges. Dollar exchanges are legal in US or other countries but not all gambling sites are. They are not making bitcoin illegal but the gambling which is illegal with or without bitcoin.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: June 13, 2016, 08:18:30 PM
Sad goal for me on that. I had bet on Belgium to win . Should have gone with Win/draw. Hopefully Belgium scores 2 goals before the end, but seems unlikely now.
1055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anybody Use REVERSE Martingale? on: June 13, 2016, 08:16:46 PM
What is reverse martingale?

You halve your bet at loss, or something like that?

Its just like martingale , but instead of doubling your bet on a loss, you double on a win. So if your initial bet was 1$, then you would bet 2 on a win, and 4 on another win after that. You would stop at a predecided win streak.

Read up more about it here http://www.roulettestrategy.net/strategy/reverse-martingale/
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anybody Use REVERSE Martingale? on: June 13, 2016, 07:03:21 PM
Well considering that each method does not get you to be +EV, each method would make you lose in the end. Anti-martingale is no different. The only thing that will be different from Martingale is the time it takes for you to go bust.
1057  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Mobile Recharge at 60% on: June 13, 2016, 07:00:54 PM
It's not possible for anyone to offer 40% discount on recharges everytime. Even Paytm/Freecharge offer max 50% on the first recharge only and then 25% or 5%. It's not everytime else they'll shutdown soon.

Last year there was a guy who actually did recharges at such prices, which was through some app or filling some offer and he basically exploited it. He later also sold the method to another member on the forum, but ended up not sending it.
1058  Local / India / Re: please help about bitcoin on: June 13, 2016, 04:43:35 PM
Why do you want to store your bitcoins online ? Why not store them on a hardware or a paper wallet that will be in your possession forever ? Storing them long term on any online sites, would be a very high risk.
1059  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie here on: June 13, 2016, 04:41:57 PM
Hi,is this forum will give us free bitcoint ? How can i do for that ?
Eh, bitcoin has value just as money, so you won't get money for free. You will have to work for it. Faucets and all can give you money, but its not much to work for. I would suggest offer skillset that you have in the real world and use that to serve customers here to give you bitcoin in return. You can also do trading to grow your stack.
1060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If prices crash after halving, what would you do? on: June 13, 2016, 04:40:20 PM
I doubt it would crash by so much that it would go back down to sub 400 levels. So any existing holders would still profit, unless they bought it at 500. I have been selling some of it, so I am fine with it.
