121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we ReBrand Bitcoin? on: February 16, 2017, 03:49:55 PM
Do you think Bitcoin needs some Rebranding?

Rebranding is the creation of a new look and feel for an established product or company. The usual goal of rebranding is to influence a customer's perception about a product or service or the company overall by revitalizing the brand and making it seem more modern and relevant to the customer's needs.

First off, the name is a bit confusing? - Most people see the name and associate it with some physical coin. The media is also not helping with this

perception, because with every article about Bitcoin, pictures are shown of physical Casascius bitcoins.

The other aspect of Bitcoin that can be rebranded is it's bad reputation that has been built up and shilled up ..over years.

Every company gets to a point where they need to re-think their original goals and future plans... Why not Bitcoin? We have come a long way

since 2009 and making small changes will help us to take this into a new future, without the baggage of the past.  Wink

What would the pro's and cons of this be, and also the impact?

Let's discuss.  Grin
I think we are doing alright. Loads of governments have also come to know about bitcoins and the media negativity has also reduced a lot. I love the name and the symbol of it and wouldnt want that to be changed either. Every groundbreaking tech has received some flak in the beginning but once people find out how useful it can be, it gets accepted and that will be the case with bitcoins as well.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you beat the house edge on: February 16, 2017, 02:01:39 PM
It is very hard to do so in a long run. House edge does catch up even if you make a lot early on and get lucky. It has happened with me as well. Initially double or triple my bankroll and instead of cashing out, I continue to gamble with it and eventually lose it all.
123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 16, 2017, 01:24:48 PM
Watched Miami Heat play Houston Rockets last night and I've got to say, Miami Heat are playing some awesome Basketball under Erik Spoelstra. Heat management have had faith i him for a long time and its paying off slowly but surely. I had money on the Rockets but the Heat outclassed them in every department. Other than Harden and a bit of Ryan Anderson, none of the players played well and for the Heat, the starters all scored double digits and rotated the ball well.
124  Economy / Goods / Re: Apple Watch on: February 16, 2017, 01:16:52 PM
OP admitted that he's sourcing those watches from Macy's and that you have to have a drop/delivery address. It's quite clear that he's carding these goods hence the low price point. It's all profit as far as he's concerned. Macy's will eventually find out that the payments they received were unauthorised and the delivery addresses associated with those orders will automatically be red flagged. Probably not worth the risk of you ask me. You could buy apple watches on eBay for under $200.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the case and advice all the users to stay away. Carding is illegal and its better to not get associated with one doing it coz you yourself might fall into trouble because of it sooner or later.  Unless OP clarifies the method how he gets is or at least explains that its not carding, this should be avoided.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: February 16, 2017, 12:01:35 PM
Invest BTC in btc trading and you get a good circle going on Wink
Yeah, I think thats the safest option that he can have.Invest into BTC and trade if you dont have time to do that then invest into a mining farm or set one up yourself if you get cheap electricity at or around your place. You will need a lot of cooling equipment along with the rigs though. Could be expensive on the whole.

If you are giving out any vouch copies, I'm interested to take one and write a vouch for you please. I will review about the experience I'll have with the trade and about how well the site works. PM me if you are giving out a vouch. Thanks Smiley

Do someone know about www.maxim99.com?
Stop promoting non bitcoin related stuff/casinos on the forum. Go find a review site or some forum about fiat casinos. Also, the site looks a little shady from what I see. I urge people to not register or play in that casino without researching about it.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you choose casino to play? on: February 16, 2017, 10:56:49 AM
The highest priority goes to how trustworthy is the site. If that's concluded and its all good then its about the welcome bonus that I get and when compared to other sportsbooks(not just Bitcoin based), how are the odds on that particular site i.e. House edge. I'll pick the one with the lowest house edge because that will give me better chances to win. I dont generally care about the site's aesthetics. It's more about the functionality for me than the looks of the site.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Soccer Transfer Market 2016/2017 ! on: February 16, 2017, 10:29:52 AM
I cant wait to see what changes arsenal will make in the summer, im almost certain that wenger will leave and i think Sanchez and Ozil will follow, hopefully they stay in the EPL tho, im hearing talk of them both coming to chelsea

Don't be too sure.  The old bugger thinks he can still win the EPL and might go at it for one more year.  But I hope he does leave and gets replaced by a potentially, league winning manager.  So far the top three managers who could replace him are Allegri (Juventus), Tuchel (Dortmund), Eddie Howe (Bournemouth).  I want either Allegri or Tuchel.  Howe is ok, but for Arsenal no.
I'm not 100% sure that Wenger will leave if he gets Arsenal to 2nd or 3rd in the league with a deep run in cups but I'm pretty sure that Alexis Sanchez will try to move out of Arsenal and probably go to PSG if they are interested in him. Mostly Ozil will make a move as well. Was shocked when Ozil agreed to play for Arsenal.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 16, 2017, 10:26:12 AM
I'm left completely speechless after watched that poor defensive back line from Arsenal, I understand they couldn't keep up the score against Bayern, but at least lower Bayern's score. How many time I should see this knockout stage 1st round tragedy from Wenger, might take another 10 years to break this curse, because with the team Arsenal have right now, I couldn't see any bright hope at all.
The defense was alright as long as Koscielny was there in the game. As soon as he left the back line started to struggle. Koscielny was replaced by Gabriel Paulista and he along with Mustafi werent good enough. Also its the defensive midfielders fault. Almost the whole team were back defending other than Sanchez but still they couldnt stop Robben to score. Who the hell gives space on the left side for Robben?
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any insurance service for gamblers to retain heavy losses....??? on: February 16, 2017, 09:04:55 AM
Some sports betting sites have the insurance button in there. Only one of the sportsbooks has that though when it comes to bitcoin gambling and that is 1xbit. Whenever you bet on a game and you are not that sure, you can insure the bet partially or full or even cash out the bet. I'd like to see more sportsbooks use that but as on now, I think its just 1xbit.
132  Economy / Gambling / Re: virtual horse raceing interest ? on: February 16, 2017, 07:35:35 AM
I donno mate. Doesnt look like a great idea.  The info on the horses are not enough and it would be really hard to replicate real horse racing. Also, this could easily be rigged and because of that I dont expect a lot of people trying it.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 15, 2017, 09:42:04 PM
Bayern Munich vs Arsenal ended 5-1. I think Arsenal play in the champions league just to lose out in the round of 16. Real Madrid vs Napoli ended 3-1. Napoli still has a slight chance if they win at home 2-0. They have an away goal and can be crucial but keeping Real's attackers quiet is close to impossible.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 15, 2017, 08:21:25 PM
Arsenal score one back. Lewandowski fouled Arsenal player in the Penalty area and ref gave it as a penalty. Score is now 1-1. Alexis Sanchez's penalty was saved by Neuer but the ball got deflected back to Sanchez and he scores calmly.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 15, 2017, 07:59:12 PM
Bayern munich vs arsenal
my prediction bayern munich would not easy to win against arsenal and maybe this match will end without any score. I bet on under 2,5 goals.
You've got it wrong mate. What a goal by Robben within 10 mins Bayern Munich scores. It cant get any easier than this. That was some great strike by robben with his favoured left foot from about 30 yards out. We say a lot of goals yesterday and this one is up there. One of the best in the Champions league this week.
136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bonus/Tournaments Sports Betting on: February 15, 2017, 06:57:13 PM
in sport betting i like and my favorite directbet.eu
is youre true in directbet many promotion contest
1 free bet prediction giveaway(football, basketball, hokeckey , NFL and more)
2 contest the best tipster
Directbet do have a really good promotion system but when you look at the odds that they provide for sports I think they give out the worst odds when compared to all the sportsbooks. They probably have the biggest house margin that any online sportsbooks. 1xbit has great odds given out and so does cloudbet. They have to push out some more promotions and stuff coz directbet seems to be a clear fav in that dept right now..
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling problem on: February 15, 2017, 12:19:17 PM
I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much
If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!

That's the usual thing problem of the gamblers, and one of the reason was poor of dedication, lack of self-control, lack of discipline too. If they can adapt this things only  everything for sure will be easy for the gambler to resolve it 100%.

If gamblers will just learn how to control their emotion, how to stop playing, being contented with their profit then they will surely make profit from gambling. Gambling with poor behavior and discipline will always give bad result. It can even make someone being addicted to gambling.  Worst is it can ruin your life if you don't gamble properly.
Agree to that. It is all in the psychology in some situations. I see that a lot of mental training to be done especially when a person keeps losing one after the other and not panic because of it. I see that people try to chase profits or targets that they have set. If they dont reach it, they tend to take a harsh step by putting a huge% of their bankroll at risk to win it back. Thats one of the worst plays ever.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SURVEY on the popularity of these ways to gamble. on: February 15, 2017, 11:49:30 AM
I think you forgot to add poker to the list. If I had to rank the ways I gamble, 1st would definitely go to Sports betting, 2)Poker 3)Roulette 4) Dice. I have never tried plinko and I dont think i'll try it anytime soon.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of people that treat Bitcoin solely as an investment? on: February 15, 2017, 09:19:09 AM
I dont mind if people think of it just as investment at first. In fact, I am making people get into bitcoin this way. I tell them about how the growth of bitcoins has been as of now and how has the ups and downs have happened and explained why they happened, if I know the reason. This way more people will adopt to bitcoin and BTC will grow. I know there are chances of BTC being panic sold but that happens even now.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 14, 2017, 09:21:30 PM
Ridiculous! 4-0!! who would have thought that PSG will score 4 and no goals from Barca? Who ever predicted this should get an award for it. Odds would have been massive for this. Will feel bad for the ppl who would have bet on BTS coz nobody would have expected Barca not to score in this fixture.

Edit: Its full time and the games finished with the score PSG -4 and Barcelona - 0.
