141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass Bounty hunter or Full time crypto trader on: January 28, 2018, 11:53:19 AM
Trading is the more profitable option for sure, if you make good trades that is. I doubt someone who has never traded will earn a lot of profit.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DAO][VR] The Movement | Fully Decentralized Organization | VR Headquarter on: January 28, 2018, 11:47:23 AM
3 millions of mvt is nice, its a small amount, but maybe in future we could think how we could burn some tokens?
that would be even better guys, any thought how we could do this? it could be some fee for something, maybe we could think about it together

Why would you want to burn any tokens when there is only a 3 million supply? With what purpose?
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: January 28, 2018, 11:29:39 AM
I know that after 90 day the reward from minting function go reset.
Where did you get this info? Resourse, please!
reset?  so if i hold POSToken in my wallet for 90 days, when i want mint my rewaird , there will be 0 ? where you  get this info , any link?

To clarify, nothing resets. 90 days are the max amount of days your tokens will be accumulating rewards, if you would get 10pos after 90 days you would still be getting 10 pos after 120 days.
144  Other / Meta / Re: What do you think about the new rules (merit) of the Bitcointalk forum? on: January 25, 2018, 02:05:05 PM
It's an interesting system I like it, but I think they need to consider that some merit sources might abuse their merit giving powers such as selling it or give it to their alt accts. Overall it's going to be hard to get promoted in the future for everyone given that merits are limited and some people will hoard for them for bragging rights.

There will be some specific users who are going to be merit sources.
Merit is trackable, so abuse would or could be noticed.

If hoarding will be a problem they will implement merit expiration.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC process and reasons for rejection: Is crypto still fair? on: January 25, 2018, 02:00:16 PM
KYC does seem a bit of a nuisance but on the other hand, if you are lucky enough to have your KYC documents approved, you would have an edge over the masses that have not passed KYC and are willing to pay a premium to buy your ICO tokens from an exchange.

I don't know the numbers, but I'd argue that the "masses" never even go through the kyc process.
146  Other / Meta / Re: What do you think about the new rules (merit) of the Bitcointalk forum? on: January 25, 2018, 01:57:01 PM
Is it possible to offer to exchange "merit" in the topics of posts-This will not be a violation of the rules? If possible, let's try to do this?)  Roll Eyes

The main purpose the system is to encourage users to make meaningful and constructive posts. What's more important is it makes it harder for broken-english(like yourself) shitposters to rank up.
And here you are trying to find ways to exploit the system to the point where you're basically begging for merit points.

I agree about encouraging meaningful and constructive posts. However, shittalking people who's english capabilities are below average is a punch below the belt. Be better than that.

If your english is not sufficient then don't post in the english sections.
People who understand english are getting tired of copied/translated nonsense posts.

They don't post in the french section writing broken french either right?

Are you the one to decide who copy/translates, and who has writing disabilities etc.? I agree in doing your outmost to write quality posts, but many people with hero/legendary status have broken english capabilities. Doesn't make their posts stupid or irrelevant if the thoughts are good.
And about writing broken french in the french chat; we have a lot of Swedish and Norwegian people writing in broken Danish in the Scandinavian sektion. We forgive for their national handicap.

That's fine, all those those people can continue what they are doing. They just don't get rewarded for them, as they shouldn't.

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: January 25, 2018, 01:17:49 PM
i read last 30+ post and did not understand why the price of POS DUMPed, why somebody said POS is SCAM? we got POS free i think ? who can tell me what happened this months  Huh

Everyone knows that a lending platform works like a ponzi scheme. The lending platform was launch to create a market for POStoken, its the choice of the holders if they want to invest or just continue to mint normally.
thanks for your reply,i saw some people said POS2.0 , seems now POS2.0 have a good expect , going to have a look what is POS 2.0 ,hope POS goes well ,have already hold this coin for the whole time.

In my opinion the biggest advantage of the 2.0 version is that staking tokens going to be automatically.

Imo the biggest advantage and greatest feature will be the exchange. We have the possibilities to mint and now also lend which is great. But the exchange will be a game changer.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust XLM stellar lumens? on: January 25, 2018, 01:14:48 PM
I've holding lumen more than 3 years ( it's come from giveaway , not a big amount , but I holding until now) , that time name as stellar (str) , 2015 or 2016 change name to lumen (XLM) , do you know that my total xlm only value $60 in 2014 , but today total value more than $10K , they partnership with IBM news come out and price rising like skyrocket , we don't know that when they announcement partnership to another BIG Company , so I'm not planning to sell my stellar and I'm sure that it'll rise to $1 soon

Good possibility you can gain from it and stellar grows in price, but in the end ripple and stellar are not my first choices at all.

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC process and reasons for rejection: Is crypto still fair? on: January 25, 2018, 01:05:01 PM
I'm against the whole idea of sharing my personal data to anybody but if they even rejects your ID ... that's really weird. What the point of this KYC then?

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if some people here will have to deal with identity theft in the near future.
It will be a long nightmare for them.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your plan? on: January 24, 2018, 11:11:53 PM
My dream is to open an animal shelter. In my country, a lot of homeless animals and a terrible climate. This constantly upsets me. If I can earn enough money by investing, I can help the world. I hope

This is admirable, I hope you will get a lucky break in crypto and can fulfill this, good luck!
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[ANN][PoSToken]First PoS Smart Contract Token[Lending Platform Available] on: January 24, 2018, 10:33:46 PM
I follow this rule of thumb:
"If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a ponzi." 😂

Cool story bro. Most people don't take advice from newbies anyway.
I think we will see a lot more development this year.

I got the same error, but still always got my staked POS. So nothing to worry.

Have you used the same steps in dev's post? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2110712.msg21934703#msg21934703
I'm not sure but it looks it doesn't work well on mine. I didn't receive my 99 accumulated PoSToken. *got tired of backreading*

As for the lending platform, I still don't have any plan to touch it.
No I am not using devs steps, I am just sending 1POS (amount doesn't matter) to myself and this is all the magic.
Just did it about an hour ago (https://etherscan.io/tx/0x70c61e73caf0f317979d288c4d1c109632bf0f94d20aa0cc6308e199a36cad74)
I got 2.2POS and paid 0.04$ for transaction fees.

It's just the blockexplorer, there is no error or bug it's only the explorer displaying that.
If you click on your address in the contract you will see your updated balance.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ArcBlock Project and ICO Summary on: January 20, 2018, 11:15:10 PM
Where do all those ArcBlock threads come from? This is I think the 4th I've seen in a single day. What makes it so special? Probably a good pay to advertise it.

Even that tagline is misleading. It's not a new blockchain so how can it be called blockchain 3.0?

Yes it's very misleading, and also very weird these threads come out of nowhere  almost always from newbie accounts.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION on: January 20, 2018, 10:55:09 PM
Well we all survived in a way or another but all the market is still on a rollercoaster and the prices may swing with prices. Just hold and you should be fine if you are in a difficult position.

Bitcoin is always a rollercoaster but we all see what bitcoin does at the end of it. We rise to new levels and we can buckle our seatbelts again.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum announced they are getting added to more exchanges. on: January 20, 2018, 10:52:14 PM
HODL and buy if no holdings as major exchange listing(s) tend to cause significant pumps but then watch for the dump that typically follows.

And don't get fomo and buy too high the day before it hits a new exchange or you will struggle to see any profit.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin at 9.620 ! on: January 20, 2018, 10:50:13 PM
It was planned dump in my opinion. Should've buy USDT but now i'm stuck and should hodl (

I have zero trust in USDT. They are 'minting' it faster than regular USD.
If I remember it right, there are over 600M new USD in last 45 days.

I can't understand people aren't seeing this, it's like an invasion of real fiat in disguise.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who believes Ethereum can go 4,000 USD 2018? on: January 20, 2018, 10:47:14 PM
I believe ethereum will become $4000 before end of this year 2018 . Take note not only $4000 maybe it will become $5000 each ethereum in this year. So better if you buy ethereum now and for Sure after few months you will gain a lot of profit. What if you hold ethereum for few years for sure you will earn a lot big profit because ethereum have big potential also become next bitcoin if the bitcoin die for sure ethereum will bloom and those people have a lot of ethereum possible to become rich because they gain not only profit maybe it's big profit.

I think ethereum will grow but maybe not that high Wink There are a lot of competitors this year who will be having smart contracts as well. Eth will get more competition.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stellar ($XLM) can reach to $1? on: January 20, 2018, 10:42:58 PM
i think if the industri use xlm it can overtake xrp. XLM ist ceaper is for banks and for the people (xrp only bank) and its also fast as ripple
i think it can go this year also +100% like 5-10 doller if they use the system. If they dont use it rip .... back to 0.001 doller like 1 year ago xD

I prefer stellar over ripple.
But maybe ripple has beat them to the punch and already established more of a name and relationships with banks and such?
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Got 100$ In Which Crypto Should i Invest on: January 20, 2018, 10:37:29 PM
Suggest Me A Altcoin Under 2$ So I Should Get Atleast 50 Of Them!

I think you can try your chance with ripple. It is not a promising coin for the future, but maybe you can catch some good profits with fast-trading.

Maybe some profit on ripple is possible but ripple will have a hard time to go up again like it did.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It True Hard-FORK Going to Happen on ETH (Ethereum) called EtherZero on Jan on: January 20, 2018, 09:11:06 PM
So is this a serious dev team can they compete with ethereum's dev team? Because I very much doubt that.
