1121  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 01, 2014, 12:36:49 AM
OMFG shut the fucking zencloud down NOW, can't you morons see there is all sorts of shit going on with user balances. Shut it down, stop all action, audit the fucking database, fire developers, start over.

They won't do anything major with Zencloud.. It's kinda damaged goods in their mind... Once hashbase rolls out it'll replace it... So I assume they don't want to "waste" resources on actually fairly paying people.

What exactly is hashbase and when is the release date?

It's probably going to be linked to btc.com, about time the site started working for them.

My answer to the OP's question would be - neither.

1124  Economy / Speculation / Re: don't panic, btc is doing well ! on: October 31, 2014, 01:52:21 AM
Why shouldn't we panic when btc is still under $500.
Simply because last year at this time it was below $200  Grin
1125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MEMBERS SIGTATURES on: October 31, 2014, 01:50:01 AM
A great way to earn some coins, especially if you don't have money to invest but would like to hold some BTC.
1126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are hashlets worth it? on: October 31, 2014, 01:32:28 AM
They are really trying to make mining fun for you, so there are many different features to choose from. You get points for keeping your money there as a BONUS. You don't have to do it, but if you choose to, or simply forget to withdraw, you'll get points, that you can use as a store discount. IMO it's a great feature that makes them unique.

To be honest, I can't take you seriously when you say "they are trying to make mining fun". Adding an absurd amount of gimmicks/arbitrary games is not fun, it's a massive waste of time.

GAW knows it's a massive waste of time which is why they implemented the games knowing that only a select few will actually waste their time day after day.

If it's such a waste of time, there are other mining offers to choose from. You are free to use any of them. It appears people like to play, because they have a lot of clients.
I'd say you're wasting more time arguing in this thread than you would boosting your hashlets.
1127  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: October 29, 2014, 01:54:57 AM
There is a mismatch between the users that coinpiler is looking for and the number of posts they are wanting for people who join the campaign. They are essentially looking for people who, in the past have been very active and posted more then most other users have on average, while they are only asking for 40 constructive posts in order to qualify for a payout (which is very few for a signature campaign).

They assume that people will continue posting at their usual pace, and the 40 constructive posts limit wont matter.
It does happen - my signature campaign has a minimum requirement of 50 posts/month, but I guess I will do twice that.
This is why they will not be the biggest campaign because most users are not that active plus users that are that active who want to get paid for their signature will not want to sell it for something that has a 40 post minimum when they do 100+ posts per month....it would like be giving away free advertising
It could be considered free if you could join campaigns that pay more than 0.1 BTC for more than 50 posts. If not, you are getting paid the highest market rate.
Writing over the limit is your choice.
1128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAWRefugees for when GAW BANs everyone. on: October 28, 2014, 03:38:00 AM
Sold my account off got about $1500 which is higher than what I originally invested and in total got about $2000 off them.  Now I got LTCGear 1K6X and if you guys have any tips for where I can invest my $450 in BTC would be much appreciated.

I'm glad that you were able to come out with a profit, but please keep in mind some other user will be making more than $500 in losses. Hashlet Prime's pricing, and ZenPools payouts seemed arbitrary and I wouldn't be surprised if there was no mining activity, and zenpool's payouts were artificially boosted.

Take a look at Hashie, maybe? We're running the Halloween Sale, where you can save up to 10% (plus no maintenance fees until Oct 30th). If you're new, you can claim a free 10 GH miner too Smiley

Are you for real? You came here to bash them just so you can promote yourself in the next sentence? I don't know your services, but I won't try them after reading the above.
1129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Haunted Hashlet Cloud Mining on: October 28, 2014, 03:19:34 AM
Dont buy cloud. Seriously. You will not ROI.

The problem I see here is, you could as well say: don't buy miners, you will not ROI.

Whoa, i remember visiting that site ( or one looking like that) some few years ago while on my studies at gymnasium (yes, i'm from europe). At that time,it was indeed hilarious, compared,to static webs i visited at that time Smiley

Was it called "spank the monkey"? That's [robably the oldest one I can think of.
1131  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: October 27, 2014, 09:42:29 PM

If this not a scam then it is GAWS/ZEN responsibility to prove their services are worthy of people BUYING and using them, while they actually uphold the things they are representing to the public.
(...)
Because unlike GAWs/ZEN I am not seeking anything from you... not even your opinion.

I don't see it this way. There's a large number of service providers out there and it's up to you to decide. They can choose any path they want: full disclosure and transparency, partial, or none, just like you can choose their services or the competition's.

It isn't that simple though, is it?

If the decision to use a service is based on claims made by the service provider then it's not unreasonable to expect those claims to be fulfilled.

For example maintenance fee reduction to maintain profitability. Ok, let's say that one was vague. However there was nothing vague about SHA256 mining on Primes. This was promised multiple times with fairly certain deadlines and never happened.

There are a few more examples, like the Prime price pump while it was "out of stock". Or the silent removal of the ability to buy hashlets with HP.

On the surface it would seem that GAW is being honest and transparent by announcing features in advance only to renege after customers commit to decisions based on said announcements. I think there is a word for that, it just eludes me at the moment.

Looks like they don't really know what they want to promote. They have an idea, like that "one miner" site I read about on hashtalk and abandon it. Maybe it was the same with SHA mining.
They should really make sure they can deliver before announcing something. I really like their enthusiasm but usually it's better not to reveal your plans, especially if they are just plans.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 27, 2014, 08:51:58 PM
Usually when all of you get scared and write doom posts, the price magically rebounds. Same as when most people say "we're breaking xxx this week" it never happens Cheesy

Did you come here to shill for ltcgear? There's too many people doing that already Wink
What you're doing is pointless.

I have one too, made by CM Storm. Completely different from what I was used to in rubber domes.
1136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ZenCloud Hashlets on: October 26, 2014, 10:06:36 PM
first off this should be in alt coin mining section.

next this will continue to happen due to btc price being low. good luck hope for price to jump up.
They are selling hashlets that mine bitcoins, so it depends which one he bought.
GAW is not the only cloud company that noticed a drop in payouts this month. If you bought coins instead of a contract you wouldn't be doing much better.
1137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: LTCgear.com, the best scrypt/scrypt n/X11 cloud mining service, ROI 2 months on: October 26, 2014, 09:44:54 PM
how big of a chance is there that this is a ponzi scheme?
It's the same gamble with all cloud mining sites. I advise everyone to gather as much information as possible before sending coins to somebody.
By no means invest in anonymous companies.
1138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW ZenCloud ZenPool Hashlet - does it really exist? ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: October 26, 2014, 09:32:40 PM
That was a pain to read.
He used punctuation (...). Grin
This drop in payouts has to be somehow related to the recent BTC drop. Their problems started when Bitcoin went below $400.

Read the threads before you post. Zeushash was already mentioned.
1140  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: How should I mine Bitcoin? Cloud or Hardware? on: October 25, 2014, 05:33:43 PM
what is your power cost?

how loud can you stand the miner to be?
This is a great answer.
If you have cheap, reliable power, stable internet and don't mind a couple of hair dryers constantly working in the room, choose hardware mining.
