1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinT [BT] | X11 | Lucky Stake | POW/POS on: April 24, 2015, 06:07:53 PM
Alright.. I was mining this as well... BUT I still had doubts in the posted pictures of the devs. Which are IMHO fake! I googled those names for a few hours... nothing relates to the 3 posted pictures! The names posted here are completely different people  Roll Eyes They are right about their "work", but these are not the guys we think they are Roll Eyes

To big of a risk for me... Im out... cheers
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BITTREX VICTIMS APPEAL on: April 24, 2015, 05:57:22 PM
I agree with the op on the part that they could leave the wallets open for a longer time  Wink

An exchange like trex, which is well known and volume filled. Should not remove all these coins if the volume is less then 0.2 btc a day. A policy of 1-2 btc a month volume is more then enough imo
1683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinT | LAUNCH | X11 | POW/POS | BT on: April 24, 2015, 08:14:43 AM
Can anyone explain to me how to read/calculate the blockrewards in main.cpp? Looks like some kind of formula because I am not seeing exact numbers  Huh

Thnx Smiley

Cheers.  Smiley

Guess the coffee did not do its work yet  Tongue

~10 satoshi is really a joke. Maybe the code is all copy/paste, but the dev clearly knows his stuff for cloning dash. I tried, but failed (I'm no pro dev though, but I know the basics) And everything is working.. Masternodes.. Darksend... I guess the only thing we lack is marketing. Maybe we can set up a bounty for some promotion? I think a few well known crypto-twitterfreaks could be interested in that Wink

For 8 years experience in graphic design, you should not copy paste free vector shit Grin The moving logos are cool though  Wink
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [RARE] RareBit - SHA256 on: April 23, 2015, 03:06:40 PM

Algo: SHA256
Block time: TBA
Total Coin Supply after POW: TBA
Coin Reward: TBA
Coin Reward Halving: TBA

This coin will be an experiment to show how value is linked to a limited low coin supply and how the miners and the blockchain will handle being funded by transaction fees alone once the block rewards cease being created.

Looking for pools to come on board for our launch.

More Information and roadmap to follow soon

I believe this has been done a few times already Wink

Preminecoin did this too  Wink

And why do that, when there is such a thing as POS which generates new blocks?

Cryptsy fail Grin

It would be fun seeing you throwing yourself on the window. Cheesy

How does one throw himself?  Roll Eyes Grin
Step one: Grab yourself by the pants
Step two: Defy physics
Step three: Hurl yourself with force
Step four: Profit ??

YES! THIS!  Cool

Holy shit man. What a way to go  Shocked

This needs some promotion if you are ready with developing dev!

We need some altcoin community twitterpeople  Wink

Maybe change the thread title to something like :

 [ANN][ICASH] iCash | Anonymous | X11 | Masternodes | Darksend | InstantX | Game Platform Beta | Lottery

Something that makes your developments stand out a bit more  Wink And my advice is to drop the "Darkcoin clone" thing in the OP. This is not darkcoin, this is Icash.. The coin you created for us all.. Lets market it as your own then  Wink
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 8BIT [100k Coins][Dark Masternodes][Bittrex C-Cex][Stage 2] on: April 19, 2015, 06:36:56 PM
Why this coin have so much volume ? It doesn't even have a roadmap ! Whats the innovation ?
* BanzaiBTC is looking at OP... Seeing absolutely nothing but coin specs and wallets... and a nice moving .gif

Yep, this isnt making any sense at all...
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICASH] iCash | Anonymous | X11 | Masternodes | Darksend | InstantX on: April 19, 2015, 06:32:19 PM
Seriously... Who the hell is this guy?

http://puu.sh/hjC7q/999758d99f.png

I first thought he/she was just mining to instant dump again for btc. But he/she is still mining at these prices. With 300mhs + Huh Huh

edit:

Trading at 7 satoshi...
42000000x0.00000007= 2.94 btc market cap  Huh  WTF!?!?
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CannabisCoin [CANN][X11][Official][2] Developments & Discussions on: April 19, 2015, 06:17:24 PM
From what I have read, Ty Doan the founder of CannabisCoin is growing a lot of Cannabis for Herbal Wellness Center in Phoenix Arizona and is building connections to market CANN in Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona

Alright! That is something I can work with Smiley Do you remember where you read that? Maybe I am just blind, but I cant find any usefull information about this in the OP. I can see some announcements, but no links to a "roadmap" regarding this matter.

I am not a fan of this coin. BUT! It is still being traded on trex after all this time. Why? My guess is that someone is loading up Wink Worth a little risk Wink
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CannabisCoin [CANN][X11][Official][2] Developments & Discussions on: April 19, 2015, 06:05:53 PM
Alright.. I have been thinking a lot about this recently...

What is the main "magnet" for people to buy CANN?

1 CANN for 1 gram of marijuana is not realistic! Even if the dev is growing his canndy.. I doubt he is growing millions of grams! In a dutch coffeeshop a good quality weed already costs you about ~8-9 euro Roll Eyes

This is not meant as fud, but purely interest! I am a well known figure in a few regions in the netherlands, cannabis related of course  Wink I cant see this happening.. I really cant. Why would someone sell his weed for 1 cann? if he can sell it on the streets for at least 5$ a gram  Huh  It doesnt make any sense to me at all! I also spoke to a few coffeeshop owners if they are willing to accept CANN or BTC as payment. They all answered no. Because they will lose money on it, since its cryptomarkets. And not 1 coin has a stable value. I told them later on in the conversation there are multiple auto exchange platforms available, but that would mean interference from other companys to do the trading. Marijuana related "companys" dont like interference  Wink At least not where I come from Wink

I do hold a small stake in cann. I have around 30K atm. Please give me good reason to stock up more, besides the "upcoming 420 pump" Wink

Thank you,

Banzai

My understanding is that the situation in the USA versus Europe/Netherlands is quite different.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/ondcp/state-laws-related-to-marijuana

Because sale of marijuana is not legalized under federal law, the banks are often unwilling to harbour bank-accounts for the different dispensaries, shuting them down or freezing them since they do not want to be assosiated with federal illegal crime. However, if the dispensaries take payment in CANN, they can then sell it for BTC or $ on exchanges which are then transferred to the bank providing a loophole. After all, it's dificult to thrive as a business today if you can't have a bank-account. If Cann can establish itself as the payment and weed of choice through this loophole the potential is rich.

My 2 sat.

Thank you for your reply Smiley There is indeed a big difference.. However... the sale of marijuana is not legal at all in the Netherlands, it is "tolerated". So a few coffeeshops have the same problem with banking  Wink You cant explain all that money just by selling cups of coffee and tea right?  Grin

Thank you for sharing your vision, I understand what you mean.

It still did not solve any question marks I have around the "canndy" sale (nice name for a strain btw! good choice Cheesy )

Coinmarket.io
Mintpal.com
CryptoRush.in (1st version)
Bter hacks
Also coinex.pw.

Damn how could I forget that one Tongue

I miss that exchange though... mining and trading, that was a big plus  Smiley
