881  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: November 10, 2015, 05:55:39 AM
It's human nature to be addicted to risks. Take one today at www.primedice.com

LoL. But I am pretty sure that Drew wan't talking about gambling over here.
Do you think its correct to relate quotes to gambling which were originally not related to it?

883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: People massively fleeing /r/bitcoin to /r/btc on reddit on: November 09, 2015, 01:49:02 PM
Number of subscribers as increased a lot in the last few days, it would be very awkward if we don't have a place to freely discuss a censorship resistant technology. Smiley
Not only the subscribers have gone up, but also, it was trending on reddit and was shown on the front page.
884  Other / Meta / Re: Can I mention this in my personal message? on: November 09, 2015, 01:40:50 PM
You will get insta-banned for doing this. Jokes, yes, it's fine.
Thanks for the reply. Locking this topic now.
885  Economy / Service Discussion / People massively fleeing /r/bitcoin to /r/btc on reddit on: November 09, 2015, 01:29:13 PM
Censorship on /r/bitcoin has attained new heights and posts are being automoded frequently.
It's good to finally see people massively fleeing the censorship over there.
Which one would you prefer? /r/bitcoin or /r/btc ?
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ransom paid using Bitcoin on: November 09, 2015, 01:25:36 PM
Another news that will tarnish the reputation of Bitcoin, looks like the bad guys found a new option to be untraceable and no need to show up to pick up the bag "ProtonMail Sent $6000 BitCoin Ransom to Hackers to Stop DDoS Attack, DDoS Continues Anyway"

http://apexbeats.com/recent/3253-11/protonmail-sent-6000-bitcoin-ransom-to-hackers-to-stop-ddos-attack-ddos-continues-anyway/

The funny thing here is, that does protonmail generates enough revenue that they had to pay 6000BTC for freeing their service? I never heard of them. I really am not able to digest the fact that they actually did pay "6000BTC", maybe it's just a publicity stunt?
887  Other / Meta / Can I mention this in my personal message?[solved] on: November 09, 2015, 01:22:12 PM
Hey!
I just wanted to know from the admins/mods(ofc normal users comments are also welcomed) that can i write something related to "forum.bitcoin.com" in my personal message?? I hope this is not against the forum rules. Just wanted to ask here before taking any step, cuz forum.bitcoin.com is like a rival forum to this one, and so the admins might not like it. Better safe than sorry.
888  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto has been nominated to receive Nobel Prize in 2016 on: November 08, 2015, 01:41:58 PM
woa, i have to say i belong to one of those who dont believe it at first too. but to be honest, i am really curious to find out who he is. i think he can be appointed but need not go and claim the rewards right?
The author of that post has already said that he is ready to claim the prize on behalf of Satoshi, but still you cannot give him the award money. Maybe, the award money can be donated to the foundation or to someone who will use it for the betterment of bitcoin.
i think, satoshi would have to agree if the money was to be sent to someone else.
Do we really need the money? I guess the community should be happy enough if we just get to see Satoshi being given the prize.

890  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: November 08, 2015, 01:05:20 PM
I didnt search deeply about it ,but i believe in you ,sure bitcoin can became mainstream at porn websites, those would bring another level of interest into get bitcoin,to see what they wanna and pay for something without have to be worryed with the bill of credit card.

It is not just the bill though. Its the trace. You can be easily traced using a credit card. Plus you dont know what else they will do. While bitcoin in the other hand is not that simple to trace. And you just pay for what you bought and nothing more.
An average bitcoin user who doesn't pay much attention to which address is he using at what site can also be traced very easily through his address, but if in your country, buying porn is legal then why do you need to worry when you are using a credit card to buy it?

These accounts have been sold for much cheaper rates before(from 0.5$ to 1$). They aren't worth much. I might be interested in them if you PM me the link of these accounts.
893  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin online casino (For sell. Price: 1.5 BTC) on: November 08, 2015, 12:51:04 PM
Hello.

Last time i am so busy and have not time for bitcoinslotmachine.nl.

Its new bitcoin online casino and it needs new owner. Now it give revenue but you should expand it.

The design and script are unique.

The price its 1.5 BTC. More info via PM.

P.S. please disturb me if you really interested in purchase.

Never heard of the casino before. Can you show the google analytic stats and your own stats of how many people play over there and how many hits do you get? What is your profit from that site? And will you consider selling only the script used for the site? If yes, then for how much?
894  Economy / Economics / Re: Why gold price going down? on: November 08, 2015, 12:48:00 PM
there is the possibility of many gold holders, to dump their stash and go with bitcoin, when the price increase, it's always like that everyone want to ride the current wave

it work the same evne between altcoin
There may be some of them but not many. There are probably 100x more gold investors than those who invest in Bitcoin. So, yes, some may shift but most will stick where they were(Eg. Indians).
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 07, 2015, 02:02:48 PM
What a surprising game it has became now , India lost quick wickets , and now SA is in good position , i think SA will make up the match , It is very hard to predict the game correctly. Lets see.
India is in complete command as South Africa lost 4 top orders batsmen just for 32 run on board match is going to end today and 90% India is going to win this match easily as spinners doing duty very good
No one expected the proteas  to get out for the score they did. IMO 218 was a difficult target but wasn't unachievable, they played poorly and loosing it by 108 runs is a matter of shame.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 07, 2015, 07:08:03 AM
And its over for India now. Instead of a good start they have been bowled out for 200 runs(Full summary and scorecard here : http://www.espncricinfo.com/india-v-south-africa-2015-16/engine/match/903603.html). Now RSA needs 218 runs to win this one. I guess nothing can yet be said about the future of this match but till now both the sides have equal chances of winning this one.
897  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we organize a poker tournament? on: November 07, 2015, 07:04:30 AM
If this goes a head try find a poker room which doesn't use Mavern Software as it is possible for the owner of the site to see all the hole cards on the tables.
I guess swc and betcoin.ag are a few good sites where this can happen. Don't know if they are on maven, but they are pretty good imo.
898  Economy / Economics / Re: Why gold price going down? on: November 07, 2015, 07:03:04 AM
Why is gold price falling now, even when bitcoin price going up?

I want to know that.
I guess most of it depends on the demand and supply of things. Gold and bitcoin are completely two different things, and gold going down has a very little or nothing to do with bitcoin going up. You might consider reading this for some more info on gold prices : http://www.economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2015/07/economist-explains-17 .
Though the trend for btc going up is because of other reasons, that include high demand due to FBI auction(people might expect btc to crash afterwards and so they are buying right now) and halvening that will create a low volume of bitcoin in the market.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 07, 2015, 06:55:28 AM

Bangladesh is much more stronger and experienced team than Zimbabwe and srilanka .
They are absolutely stronger than Zimbabwe, but you cannot say the same thing about Sri Lanka. Lankans have always had a pretty awesome team, yes i know Lankan team is pretty young and inexperienced but you cannot take them easy(the young ones might be the dark horses imo).

It is just a trap to make him reveal himself. They will assassinate him afterwards.
I don't know from where do you guys come up with those stories. How many altcoin developers have been assassinated till now?? Or why will something like that happen?
