4.1x odds were being offered(on direct bet) on RSA in first few overs of the match! I now regret not betting on them(they are most probably going to win). Did anyone else make a bet on some awesome odds?

Just wait tomorrow you will get more high odds Cheesy because it is more early to take decision about the future of this match.

I missed that awesome odds but on this pitch it seems much hard to make any guess which team is going to win this only patience and saving wickets can take South Africa into winning position but at the moment i don't think it will win this match.
We still could have made a bet on both the teams when the odds are above 2x. I guess this will ensure us of a win win situation(as draw in this match is the most unlike thing to happen).

Suppose if  RSA looses early wicket tomorrow then on which side do you think we shall bet?

I miss the PVP on Primedice. I know it was removed due to lack of interest, but for the few of us who want to play on PVP, can it be brought back? This time you don't need to create an extra chat box for pvp, the pvp can be done in same chat box and the results can be shown to the ones who want to see them.

that feature uses resources, so why bring it back if its not that popular. Its just wasting time and money for them
AFAIK the admins were able to make the site fast(as it is now) with PVP included. So how come PVP consumes resources that pd cannot afford to spend on?
Also, can anyone tell me any alternative website where i can play game exactly similar to pd pvp?

It just wasn't used enough to deserve place on the site. That is why it has been removed.
But no, whats the problem in having it on the site for the few who want to play with it? Like, people who don't want it will never get to see it and people who want it will only be able to see the results of their bet(and they won't be showed other users bet). Like this that feature will be invisible for those who don't want to see it and it will be there for the ones who want it. What's the harm in this?
923  Other / Meta / Re: is here any chance that bitcointalk get close after some year? on: November 05, 2015, 02:17:52 PM
And the chance of bitcointalk closing is quite low Smiley

yup. many people considers bitcointalk.org to be the central (arguable, of course.) forum for anything related to bitcoin so I think this forum will continue to exist. not to mention that the owner of this forum have very little reason to close the site.
The owner will never close the site(it always will generate a lot of income). Also, I don't think the forum will ever close down because of lack of people or interest. The only way this forum can get closed is if government gets cranky about bitcoins and decides to crush us all. However, this forum will face a competition after sometime from another emerging forum that is being run by someone(Roger Ver) who can well enough afford to give us a tough competition.
924  Other / Meta / Re: theymos has gone insane again on: November 05, 2015, 02:13:58 PM
Wrong forum.

This belongs into to altcoin section or off-topic.

ya.ya.yo!
Nope, it belongs to Meta. Wink
IDK if my post is on topic. But this post is certainly off topic. Meta is to discuss things relating to bitcointalk.org and not things relating to theymos.
Also, from where will theymos ban coinbase if they implement it? From the forum & reddit? That's it?

929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we witnessing Willy 2.0 ? on: November 05, 2015, 01:44:27 PM

So yeah, i don't think this is another willy, its genuine.

No opinions, just facts please...

Is there a new Willy 2.0 alive?
That is something which only an exchange owner can tell you. For the general public, no : there is not yet another willy bot. This time the price rise is more genuine and still its not rising as it rose last year.

The price of bitcoin has surged past $400, gaining over 9% today at press time. Last time the CoinDesk BPI closed at over $400 was in late September, although the price briefly hit $409 in mid-October.Nov 12, 2014

Annual event?
I missed on this week's email for the "Bitcoin Peek Price". What happened to it(was really interested in reading something good)?
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Happen If Gambling was not introduced? on: November 05, 2015, 05:12:42 AM
If gambling was not introduced you never was here to ask from people this silly question because gambling is not way to earn some serious it is just for fun. Grin
Also, the question that "if gambling was not introduced" isn't valid in itself. Gambling is a natural thing that must have dawned upon the humans when they started to have brains. Gambling was never introduced, it was a part of us.
933  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin price bet ? on: November 05, 2015, 04:59:55 AM
Now I see big pump before auction with silk road bitcoins sale, and I can easy bet what price go up. News can helps to predict the price. After auction price must fall, and I will bet on that.
How does the silk road auction affect the market? The pump ain't related to SR. its because of the halvening thats gonna happen next year.

935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you are going to gamble to make money, Please just kill your self . on: November 04, 2015, 10:26:41 AM
You want to gamble ? you feel somthing inside you telling you "You will win" or "lets just try for fun" or "i dont need this money" or you say: "i will play with this amount and the other i'll save it" well, if you hear these words it might be too late for you to stop.... Please do something urgently and stop gambling cause :

Gambling = losing, please stay away , anyways i know oneone will listen cause i used to laugh at threads like this .

if you are going to reply to say this guy just lost his money and he is angry ... Please just dont my friend.

You scared me. Those are exactly the things I tell myself before I start any gambling session. I loose/win money but it doesn't seem to affect me and my state of mind in any way + i don't do it to make money. I do it for fun, and so whats the matter in doing it for the fun of it?
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: November 04, 2015, 10:24:27 AM
Any advice on tomorrows match between India and RSA. RSA certainly looks in a good position but can they really stand out there in the heat till 5 days?? And can they really repeat the wonders they did in ODI in the tests too?

938  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin touched INR 25000 ! on: November 04, 2015, 10:17:49 AM
What is going on in the market ?
Some say its willy 2.0 other say its a bubble. All we shall be concerned with is that its a rise and it would rise more till december/january before crashing down again. We are going to half soon and maybe people are speculating about the market volume drop and thus are expecting price rise.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: POP QUIZ: Do you believe that BTC is the world's future money system? on: November 04, 2015, 10:14:59 AM
I think it will become the new standard within the next 5 years. I already see a lot of digital goods venders accepting it nowadays.
Bitcoins can never be standardized in real market.Everyone knows its drawbacks.
That's why Big guns like google, facebook doesn't take much interest in cryptocurrencies. All of them are waiting to see where it goes.
I don't think big guns are quite afraid of investing into cryptos. They are still carefully monitoring the ecosystem and can anytime take a big step into it. We have already seen that companies like Microsoft and some other big names have started to accept bitcoin. Other companies won't stay behind, bitcoin has a huge potential and anytime can be the future of money system.

I feel sad ( Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed) to hear that bitcoin is being banned in countries including
Iceland
Bolivia
Ecuador
Kyrgyzstan
Vietnam
Bitcoin is such a wonderful online tool of this Modern world. Personally, i hope that these bans will be abolished and that everyone can access bitcoin in whatever country they are without any legal offence occurring. What do you guys think?
Any source or info that how will the ban take place and what all will be included in the ban? They can never ever ban bitcoin. You need to ban the whole of the internet to ban bitcoin, else monitoring the transactions of bitcoin from your country is impossible.
