782  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 11, 2014, 10:52:49 AM
so far they have done nothing wrong

Jason Boyko initiated a fraudulent scheme in the early part of 2014.
by selling 'contracts' which were not what he said they were, is fraudulent in the first instance.

Fraud is a crime, and very wrong.
At what point did he say he was physically mining?

As well as hash power from other sources.  So we have no idea how many Ghs he was supposed to be physically mining.  Might just have been marketing spin.

Account balance is still going up but I'm guessing that is just the algorithm in action.  Nothing is going to happen Sunday.

Account balance will still be increasing but I imagine it's only 10% of your own hash power as seems to be the case with others and myself. I imagine we will get a payout on Sunday but again, I am pretty certain it will be 10% of what you're used to receiving weekly.

there will be NOOOO payout. Believe me

Hi puppet.
First thx for your list.

But i have an idea to made your list clearly.  Can you pls made 2 list: one with the services that payout and another list of services which already collapsed. I think we have a better view in the lists. And i probably think that in the future the list of the collapsed services grow...

Customer #: 37876

Please Refund Full amount. I know this is a long shot but would like to get it in here.

Thanks
Pleeeeease stop these useless, nonesense posts. Do you think you can simply state your customer # here, choose some
amount at your discretion (like "refund full amount", why not, yeah..) and Jason will send it to you? The only effect
your post has is that it will annoy all of us who monitor this thread for news, non-trivial opinions etc.

thank you...if everybody start posting that nonsense, the thread gonna blow up..
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ROI for 2nd generation shares on: December 10, 2014, 02:29:14 PM

I did some further calculations....

Chris states that ONE 2nd gen shares yields the equivalent of 3000 Khs on Scrypt algorithm. Then, looking at its graph, one such share seems to generate roughly 0.0005 BTC/day if mining LTC. This makes sense to me, based on 3000 Khs, right? If my reasoning is correct, his graph indeed shows the performance of ONE 2nd gen share....then ROI is astonishing!

It does seem incredible if true but you also have to factor in that if he has sold 2000+ 10 share packs already... Then by January there will be a massive spike in difficulty when they are turned on. I hope not but realistically that many packs hashing the coins, even when spread out, will be significant.

is it possible to sell these shares?
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Buying LTCgear 2nd Gen pre – ASIC NOW vs. 1000 share NOW on: December 10, 2014, 02:27:37 PM
and how do i pay? with bitcoins? because there is a price from 295$
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ROI for 2nd generation shares on: December 10, 2014, 01:57:04 PM
Hi. I just bought 4 10-packs of 2nd generation pre-shares, so I now own 40 2nd gen pre-shares.

According to Chris' data here: https://ltcgear.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/reward_2nd.png each 2nd gen share is likely to generate 0.006 BTC/day.
In other words, my 40 shares should yield about 7.2 BTC/month, which is ROI in less than 2 weeks based on my 3.08 BTC purchase price!

Or am I missing something...?  Shocked

are you sure? is it BTC/Share?

That's a shocker. I never thought it's possible to destroy a business by harassing its owner.

793  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Das AUS von PBMining? on: December 10, 2014, 08:57:19 AM

800  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: December 09, 2014, 01:53:34 PM
From a strictly legal point of view and bearing in mind their T&C, while PB continue to pay anything, no matter how small, is there actually a case to be made against them?
They haven't defaulted in any way, the site is still up and payments are being made. What do you say when you make a report to whatever authorities? "Well, it was paying out a lot, now not so much. I WANT HIM ARRESTED."
To be clear, I very much lean to the ponzi explanation, so please, no shill accusations.

They can increase the maintenance costs but need to provide bills to prove they have higher costs.
If they mine they should get mining revenue in accordance to what is to be expected with the current difficulty and the hash power they have minus the maintenance costs.

If they cannot provide any bills or pool payments, you would theorically have a case against them.

maintenance costs were built into the initial contract cost, so the payouts should be exactly in line with the network difficulty, no less.

yes and a contract is a contract. so its highly illigal if he dont pay
