761  Economy / Reputation / Re: Removal of escrow.ms? Update: Recommend users for DT 2, as escrow.ms is removed on: February 15, 2016, 03:18:36 AM
mexxer-2 and RHavar (not completely sure about this one) got added to the DT so he got more positives.
RHavar moved from DT4 to DT3 with mexxer moving from DT3 to DT2.

uh nope. Rhavar is on DT2 with bare DefaultTrust list. not sure who added him as he's not on Blazed's list. (and you're in his list, in case you missed.)
RHavar is in dooglus's trust list

He's the guy who runs moneypot right ?
762  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitkilo (now offering an escrow service) leaving positive trust for his alt on: February 15, 2016, 02:46:46 AM
Good catch mate. I guess both of those accounts are worthless now.
763  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GC scammer: Electronics4BTC on: February 15, 2016, 01:20:00 AM
When someone sells you something for half the price, you guys should already know that its a scam. Why on earth would someone sell a 100$ gc for 50$ ? *facepalm*

Greed blinds people. Live and learn.

Got to agree with Qs. He has been a really good scam buster and has helped the community a lot. He's still helping out now even though he's no longer on the DT network hence i think he deserves a spot too.

766  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Information Request]Someone tried to login into my blockchain wallet on: February 14, 2016, 01:24:49 PM
Okay great! Now everyone is being targeted(relieved to hear that I wasn't the only one being targeted). Blockchain guys should do something about it. They need to somehow stop the guys from brute forcing usernames, why can't they have some captchas if a users is acting in a fishy manner?

There must be a blockchain identifier dump somewhere on the deep web, gotta do some searching later. It's better to change all your email passwords too. No more blockchain wallets for me thats for sure.
767  Economy / Services / Re: Earn money easily on: February 14, 2016, 12:15:58 PM
Oh it is about app on smartphone does is not dangerous for the smartphone?

It depends, google Playstore doesn't screen through apps properly nowadays before approving them. Like the fake localbitcoins app incident previously. Just be careful what you install.
768  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Information Request]Someone tried to login into my blockchain wallet on: February 14, 2016, 11:22:25 AM
Same thing just happened to me :

Same here too, didn't use blockchain anyway. @QS it seems the hacker only knows the wallet-identifiers and is just brute-forcing as I did get an email only to confirm the login.

Yeah i wonder how did they get the wallet-identifiers. I rarely use blockchain though. Been using localbitcoins for some years now  Grin

No that was not because of scam my friend. Youll just miss out oh well. I guess i cant help every body. Dont feel bad if you get scam somewhere  this was legit.

Cut the crap, you changed the address because you got busted then you blame it on your 'friend' who doesnt exist. Pretty obvious you're trying to scam some dust for gambling.

Most likely a bought account. Just look at all his recent posts, surely he will be banned soon anyway. Guy will probably bring up the negative trust as being unfair and just speed things up  Cheesy

Scamming for petty amounts (0.02, 0.03, 0.04) but from many lenders without collateral.

This is why the "hero members won't scam for low amounts because their account is worth more" excuse fails. Those amounts combined with loans / trades that are usually not posted and happen over private messages, skype and etc start to add up.

You're absolutely right. Sometimes newbies are afraid to voice out, as the community here tend to side more towards the older members but those with proper proofs ie chat logs, tx id's etc , shouldn't be afraid to make an accusation thread.

Wasted Hero account. Sheesh.
775  Other / Meta / Re: How was tarsua account hacked explain @tarsua_hacked? on: February 14, 2016, 04:43:39 AM
Meh, its common nowadays for them to post that their accounts are hacked to clear their name / prevent being dox'ed.
How would you know? did you post that your account was hacked to clear your name?
All the posts on the account were made by me, or at least the last 1000

Not me in general, if you've spent some time reading the forum, you'd know it's a practice many use. Main example would be Master-P.
776  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dealing with Seller dina76 on: February 14, 2016, 02:07:01 AM
Well if ps_jb doesn't know how to, i'd atleast pm him how to recover it.

I need to do some research myself. I was scammed out of ~$20 paypal for digital goods (mmorpg related) a few months ago; i think it's too late to resurrect that mess,,, but just for future reference. I tried to figure out how to chargeback through navigating paypal and it appeared impossible.

I'll shoot you a pm.
777  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dealing with Seller dina76 on: February 14, 2016, 01:59:37 AM
Now you got to be thankful that you didn't send the funds to him via WU. Since it was paypal, you can file a charge-back.
How easy is it to charge back if sent as a gift?
You hear of scammers insta-recovering their gifted $$, but they must have a trick or something to do that right?
Your honest paypal user cannot file a complaint on a gift right?

Be it gift, or business, paypal can always be reversed. Wouldn't want to give out the techniques here as scammers would get an idea then.

779  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crowdfunding for a music project? on: February 14, 2016, 01:31:24 AM
I think it will be difficult as a music project cant guarantee an income to repay investors. To successfully get the crow-funding started, you'd need a sound business plan.

Someone i knew (quite sometime back) wanted to do the same thing, but in the end, she managed to get hold of an uni student who was doing his videography project. Things turned out good, although the views on youtube barely surpassed 1k  Grin

Guys, why do you all think he wants a loan ?? So stop talking about interest rate and investment, etc...
The title of the thread is clear enough : "Crowdfunding for a music project".

Good to know indiegogo accept bitcoin bye the way. I didn't know. I think we all have to suppor those who accept bitcoins. That's how you will prove the world bitcoin has a real value and can be useful for the economy.

Yeah got my self confused there. My bad. Been browsing too many kick starter projects lately.

Actually I am not looking for a loan but more like a donation to support.
The music video project is not just a video for youtube, it costs too much because the deal is between my friend and a music production company which is one of a well known company here in my company.
Also she has supporters already as she is already somehow known because she once appeared on a how so yea, she's a bit famous so I think the support on youtube views can be covered. Smiley

Ah, then i guess indiegogo would be a good idea. Also if she's quite known as you say she is, then im sure she'll be able to get donations via her fan base on fb or something.
