1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Coin Miners - stop wasting hash and start making more money! on: July 20, 2015, 02:33:34 PM

Back from the beach.  Interesting trip when you travel with a 5 year old and a 6 month old baby.

Wow - Altcoins are taking a hit -- due to BTC rising?  I assume everyone is mining LTC?

I would say $8.00 profit for a days worth of mining at 15Mh/s is a good profit.  If you could only scale that x10 or x100 - that would be sweet.

WB hdmediaservices Smiley

I'm currently making ~ $3 / day after power cost (kind expensive stuff here). With 14 MH/s.

I was with my Grandkids over the weekend, a 5 1/2+ year old (that 1/2+ is very important to her, it means she is nearer to 6 than 5 LOL Cheesy  Kids, they are smarter than we were doncha think?  Also her sister, a 3 year old, and my newish Grandson  a 9 month old.  Fortunately I did not have to do any Nappy (diaper?) changes - I did that already for their Dads! They are in their 30's now and NO WAY am I changing THEIR Nappies now!

If you are saying that Smarterhash doesn't scale up into the GH/s region, then obviously I can't comment, except to ask if you didn't already have that conversation with the Owner/Admin before you got all cranky and he gave you a refund, no questions asked, as promised?

Look after them Kiddies, they grow up too fast and if you blink you will miss it.

Best faucet for me so far, great pay outs , nice admin and  updated frequently on fb
I just hate those spam emails from bitcoinaliens but still it's a great faucet

Hi Patatas Smiley

How can they be spam ?  We all (including you) willingly agreed to receive emails from the bitcoinaliens family of sites when we joined their programs... Programs which are easy, reliable, and quick.

They do send maybe seven per week, but I'd rather have that, than miss out on some important news from Daniel.

If you changed your mind and now you really don't want the emails just quit the programs. Simplez Cheesy

Hello,

at the Weekend-Faucet I am over 10.000 Satoshis and I have to confirm the Email to get the payout.

I got that Email but when I click on the specific row the Weekend-Faucet that opens does again ask me to do this procedure.
It goes round...
Please help me, do you have the same problem?

Kind regards,
Zorro

Hi Zorro,

Thanks for your information.

Hi Iwanosky,

See the Frequently Asked (and Answered) Questions (FAQ) :  http://www.bitcoinaliens.com/faucet/?do=faq

The different bitcoinaliens sites pay on different days, which makes a lot of sense ;-)

I hope that helps,

8  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Beta - Bitcoin Aliens Android App (faucet) on: July 20, 2015, 06:33:11 AM
People (nobody in particular but you know who you are...) Puh-lease Grow up will ya? !!!

LOTS of sites have had bitcoin issues this past week or so, some STILL haven't fully recovered.

The issues were NOT their "fault".

There have been wallet upgrades for bitcoin and every site has had to check the code, compile it, and install it then test it, before resuming payments.

Have YOU installed the latest wallet yet?

When that happens at a weekend you could be looking at a few days to get it all done.

Daniel D'alien (weekend bitcoin), (bitcoin aliens) is one of the MOST TRUSTED and well respected, and RELIABLE Program Owners around.

DO you think it is reasonable of you to start using the "scam" word after just a few days?

If anyone wants to buy some IRL while they're still quite cheap, they are selling on Crytopia right now for as little as BTC 0.00000181 (181 Satoshi) or  people are buying them at BTC 0.00000089

Cryptopia is a great, really easy to use coin exchange.

If you don't have an account there, please be cool  Cool and use my link please : https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Register?referrer=mart2013

or if you already have an account : https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LIVE@C-CEX Polybit [POLY] • INVOICE USERS • FUTURE OF BUSINESS ON BLOCKCHAIN on: July 07, 2015, 09:04:08 AM
LOL, smarterhash didn't drive the diff up that high as it was hashing with well under 200 mh/s, I was there mining and know this... (the blockchain explorer will bear this out, if you care to take the time to look instead of just throwing blame in the wrong place)

Once the other pools went live, big hash jumped in, and around 2.3 gh/s is what drove the diff up so high.

Here is the proof, check the block explorer for times..

Then the big hash decided to leave because there were no exchanges to dump, so at the current hashrate it's still around 1.5 days to the diff readjustment.  (after being here for 4 days already..)

If the dev cares to save his coin, he should do 2 things:

#1 rent some hash to get over this hurdle

#2 release a new wallet with either a 1 hour diff change, or implementing KGW immediately

Failure to do so, is likely to kill this coin before the next diff change, as blocks are already taking about 10x as long as they should be, and this will get worse as hash drops.

How can I make this assessment?  Having the tools to do it right.  Smarterhash is the best tools in the business, even if the coins we end up mining flop because of bad developers.

Nice post damm315er

Seems that some around here believe the idea of "Never letting the FACTS get in the way of a good attempted lynching" huh?

Good luck man! and long live U.S.S. SMARTerhash.com and all who sail on her!

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the lack of posts here and yes I should be more active with forums. I am one of the devs on the actual tourism side here in Ireland. To answer the pump & dump question, if this was the case we'd have done it countless times by now. As you can see the coin has been pretty stable for the last year and we hope to keep it that way.

Mart2000 I was talking to one of the other dev guys that you emailed and I've seen your inquiry. Maybe I'm wrong but he did say dump if you want to not pump! Cheesy

IRL is in no way here purely for its intrinsic value as a digital currency in the first stage. We're promoting and using it as a discount token for our specific area. We all work in the tourism area and now we're very busy now in that season. That's not to say it wont have value in the future but if you're looking for a quick buck, sorry. We will in due course concentrate in getting our test retailers with our mobile POS this season. We'll take it from there and see how it goes. IrishGiftShop will open it's door online again, I'm told in June and will be accepting both IRL (discount) and BTC (purchase).

The web guy has his act together on the site and we'll make in more mobile friendly and integrate the news blog. http://irishcoin.blogspot.ie

Keep the faith!

Slan agus bannocht, Paddy.

Excellent update Paddy Smiley Thank you.

Your support guy did say he wasn't sure if I was being serious or not, which is fair enough. It is not everyday that somebody writes in and says, "hey guys, I am due to die in around ten years and before I go I would really love to visit the Emerald Isle, and as a bonus, buy a discounted pint using IRL.  Then drink a pint of the REAL stout, made with Liffy water?  before it gets pasteurised, petrified or whatever they do to it before they ship it to England. I know our forefathers have had some serious disagreements in the past, to put it very mildly, but nobbling a dying man's stout? surely not!  T'is true though, I had a better pint of stout in Meg O'Malley's Irish pub in Old Downtown Melbourne, Florida, USA than I ever drank at home. And her ale pie and cabbage IS worth dying for! But maybe I digress, just a little...

1. I never joke about death.

2. Could one of you nip out to any Irish pub, and just tell me the current price of a good Pint? or have you gone totally EU and been "litre'd"?

3. Google translate does not know "bannocht". If you let me know what it means I will "teach" google some Gaelic, or you can login to google.com and do it:-
https://translate.google.com/#auto/en/Slan%20agus%20bannocht

At the risk of doing serious further harm to Irish-English relations with really bad google-ised Gaeilge...

Loading ads taking too much time now or is it only my internet connection?  Huh

Hi Harizen,

I just this minute tried it and it was OK for me. Then I tried the next ad, Bitcoin Income, and it was slow. That is because Bitcoin Income have at least two errors on their page. Most browser programs will retry several times before giving up. Sites heavy with Javascript can also be a problem. NB: Your browser status bar may say "waiting for coinad" but that is not exactly true.

1. Is it on all the ads or just one or two? The timer does not start until the advertiser's site fully loads. Those sites may have a problem. e.g. Bitcoin Income took over 30 seconds just to load for me.
(Perhaps bitcoinaliens can think about adding a 'report problem site' button to the surf bar?).

1a. Are you trying to surf too many sites all at the same time? If you have a slow loading site in another tab, that can slow down or even freeze the loading of CoinAd in your active tab.

2. Is it only CoinAd or other sites also?

2a. If it is only CoinAd, What do you see if you ping the site?

ping coinad.com
PING coinad.com (104.28.28.125) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 104.28.28.125: icmp_seq=1 ttl=55 time=11.1 ms
64 bytes from 104.28.28.125: icmp_seq=2 ttl=55 time=11.0 ms
64 bytes from 104.28.28.125: icmp_seq=3 ttl=55 time=14.5 ms
...

If that fails or the number of milliseconds (ms) is over about 500 ms then I think you need to look at your computer or contact your ISP.

I hope that helps,
Mart

I've done hundreds of ads at the time of the previous management

But now, more than a month that I've Payments
Tens of e-mails - ten times the request through the site.

Who does not respond.   Huh

dollar77, What does that have to do with harizen's question? Do you seriously believe that spamming this topic with your ranting, and spamming coinad's email inbox and contact form is going to get your issue resolved?

You have been proved wrong in your WILD allegations of SCAM. We who have been here for awhile all know that bitcoinaliens (Dan) is TOTALLY HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY.

There has probably been a simple mistake is all. Or you are full of ..it - which is it?

What exactly are you trying to achieve dollar77? At the moment you are just annoying people, wasting other people's time, and making yourself look very stupid. Any more of your trolling and you go on the banlist.

I look forward to seeing your apology to Dan. If you are lucky, he might take his time to look at whatever issue you might have.

Regards,
Mart.
Very Happy bitcoinaliens 'member'.

So whats going on?  It is True Irishcoin It coin is yet alive according to:
         https://bleutrade.com/exchange/IRL/BTC

but it look dead on this thread according to:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=812247.msg9092864#msg9092864

You guys could be more participative on thread...... anyway please advice if I must remove Irishcoin of list of waiting  for a answer:

Not dead anyway

real PR going on

¡Hola! @Rw13enlib88 Smiley (any reason for that nick or is it just random letters/numbers, or the password to your Irish bank account(s)? Cheesy

Irishcoin is definitely not 'dead' by any normal definition. http://Irishcoin.org seems alive and well to me Smiley Active nodes, active exchange, we don't need much more than that or do we?

I did ask @PaddyMac earlier in this topic, "are you part of the Irishcoin.org ?" i.e. is he part of the dev team, but no reply here at bitcointalk after two weeks Sad

I hope it's just a case of devs not being up to speed on the benefits of forums and other social media.
Or they have more 'pressing' duties to perform...
(if one of those two was my GF I'd be 'performing'... a lot  Cool )
I will be very disappointed if it turns out to be a sophisticated pump and dump  Cry
I don't speak or write Gaelic, so I guess they really did not understand my questions.
When I told them that I have (seriously) added to my 'bucket list'
Quote
Visit Ireland and buy, with a discount using Irishcoin, a pint of Murphy's or Beamish, or even Guinness!
. He couldn't give me even a rough idea of how much a pint would cost, or the a %age discount I'd get in Darcy McGee's using Irishcoin.
The guy also suggested I was free to pump and dump if I want!
Let's hope they are just too busy (doing what?) to pop their heads in the door of our 'Pub' here?
I'll try to contact http://www.darcymcgeesatthespawell.ie/ and see if the Pub Landlord knows anything.

Looks to me like bit1 and/or his deadcoin list is dead (RIP). Follow up from me at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=812247.20 later.

So what would your choice be @Rw13enlib88 ? Blonde?  or Golden? I am of course talking about the colours of  beer  Wink

Cheers!
