4btc for 12ghs
Nobody wants them.

I can afford jupiter, but it was too risky for me to buy one and pray for roi.
I prefer investing in shares, jd investments, other asic hardware.
1042  Economy / Securities / Re: [Smidge.Com] - A virtual, actively managed, multi-asset digital currency fund on: September 01, 2013, 01:37:06 PM
Ok so 1/4 fund in refrigator - ltc global no divs
1/4 fund in btc frozen no divs
1/4 fund in amc/am good divs

Rest wasted in mining bonds, some dead like icedrill, satoshi divs

2200 shatoshi for 2 000 000 satoshi stock

False report again about share value,
am should be 2.23 (18 bitcoins lie) instead 2.75
Amc should be 0.032 instead of 0.54 (7 btc lie)
Litecoins are 0.0188 not 0.2 so another few btc

If you post raport ensure you have correct values.
Every week you are loosing money and hiding losses here and there.

Please create true raport when how much you have sold/bought at what price.
In raport as above you can steal btc by making good trades and hiding it.

1045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: September 01, 2013, 12:54:22 PM
520 is
400*0.30+400=520
Change base clock to 320, not 400

Adjust that to 450 from 400 and things change radically (and the way KnC are talking we could be seeing closer to 500). That's looking like it may be the real picture. I'd say although you may need the money you'd be wise to think hard about jumping ship when exchange rates and hash rate of the rigs could rise and the projected difficulty shown on that calculator are so pessimistic long term (see many wise posts about the unlikelyhood of it rising so much ).

We're always exposed to difficulty risks, it's a risky game to play. Even buying BTC could wipe you out. That's why the rewards can be so good.

KNC wrote: "greater than 30% performance increase " that is more than 520 for a jupiter.

It's strange to me that this  announcement was almost completely ignored here!

320*1.3 =~ 433 not 520

Roi in 2020 Wink

Why 320?

Becouse the base declared performance was 320, when they introduced jupiters...
Then they said that it will be more, 400
Now they say that it could  be more than 320->400 (25%), 30%

1049  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: September 01, 2013, 09:03:01 AM
HashFast's Golden Nonce GN ASIC successfully taped-out yesterday, Wednesday the 28th, and has been released for 28nm fabrication to a well-known, leading-edge foundry.  More details will follow in next week's joint press release.

-John

Congratulations John (and rest of HF team).  Big milestone.  I look forward to the joint press release.
I assume this means you still anticipate meeting your delivery estimate?

Thanks D&T,

Yes, we are still looking good. Its exciting over here!

-John

Please share your schedule with us.  All of us are very skeptical that you will deliver systems in October.  Cutting glass, obtaining first silicon and packaging will take at least 2 months.  Not to mention system assembly and prototype test.  Even in tapeing out August 28th you're looking at LATE November easy or you're simply lying to everyone.  If you disagree please share your exact schedule with us.

-The Skeptical

90 days from now.
You will see...

1053  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMiner vs. ActiveMining; which do you prefer and why on: August 31, 2013, 09:38:59 PM
AMC -> Ken Slaughter is hiding in his cave with pile of ugly cases and orders for outdatted chips
AM   -> Friecat is manufacturing chips, boards, shipping, hashing in his factory/datacenter
LC    -> They claim they have chips but no evidence, no foto/video hashing, no boards, no clear plan, shedule
I doubt AM has its own factory.
LC posted a picture with two chips (sample chips?).

Still, pretty spot-on. It's going to be fun.

AM has produced about 30.000 devices or more...
maybe they dont have a factory but they are real company not bullshit unicorn with nda, funny photos and stuff like that.

1057  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Allow me to drop some maths (so i can cry my soul out) on: August 30, 2013, 09:15:54 PM
I've got a good o e for you. I started learning about bitcoin in early 2012. Finally in summer 2012 I decided to get a BFL FPGA rig to try mining. It arrived in late October 2012 and dealing with getting it all set up wasn't a priority. I had other projects going on. The miner SAT IN A BOX until early March of this year when I finally got it going! Oct '12 to March '13 would have been a nice time to have 800mh/s going 24/7.

And I have no one to blame but myself..... Oh well

You deserve an award, maybe golden butterfly ?

I have lost 75 btc due to greed Wink

I sent you a pm.  Please reply when you get a chance.

I have sent too.
8 hours no reply.
I hope we are not scammed Wink

SSB has sent out literally thousands of these over a number of group buys.  I know that I've bought from several of them.  He's not a scammer.  Most likely just has a busy schedule and will reply as soon as he can.

Yeah i know that, so i used proper emoticon Wink

...
If they had the chips, they would be shipping.

Why would you expect KnC to get the chips, then just sit on their ass for a month doing nothing?  They will begin shipping as soon as they have the chips. Why is that so hard for people to understand?

Because BFL started shipping as soon as they got the chips, derp?

Bullshit, BLF started realizing that their chips were nowhere's near their promised efficiency levels as soon as they got the chips. and at some point the "Two more weeks" broken record response got dropped at which point, everyone finally found out that they had reorder all the cases / heatsinks/ powersupplies to deal address their poor planning and overly optimistic calculation...

It doesn't take a brain surgeon for anyone to learn from this mistake and it definitely isn't confidential knowledge. and I would bet good money that KNC ether A. Has the chips but is tweaking / testing quietly and wants to make absolutely sure none of these things come back for some BS problem that could have been fixed with alittle debugging or B. does not have it yet and is simply over-engineering the hell outta the components to ensure that the ancillary components don't need to be trashed if the initial parameters are off.

Ether way, BFL most definitely DID NOT start shipping as soon as they got the chips, if anything they were sitting on them awaiting boards/etc because of the Screwup -The fact that you are even comparing the two is retarded.

Only one mistake in process and knc is late.
