hi my antminer s3 at stock settings started to low performing freq 218.75 temps 37 41 asic status oooooooo oooooooo oooooooo ooo-oooo so one chip is dead? reboot does not solve this... Elapsed GH/S(5s) GH/S(avg) FoundBlocks Getworks Accepted Rejected HW Utility Discarded Stale LocalWork WU DiffA DiffR DiffS BestShare 5h 40m 10s 406.93 428.80 0 429 15,852 5 42 46 45,253 0 3,601,572 6,084 2,029,025 639 0 2,530,253 that a lot of discarded... is it normal ? there is polmine raport https://polmine.pl/getgraphdatasrv.php?gid=BTC_worker5567092517e0ed42d94cf318195e0737Discards do not matter. CK said they mean nothing and should never have been reported and tracked in the first place. The "-" you see is a malfunctioning ASIC. It should still be under warranty and BitMain can help you fix it if the chips is bad. I got someone good when I had a under performing board and they replaced it. Before you do all that "-" is not a dead a ASIC "x" is and even those can come back (I've seen it) power off the supply try moving your PCIE cables around. I assume your only using 2 one on each board, if your using 4 unplug 2 (if no plans to OC) and then power the supply back on. Reboots alone don't always fix S3's. I agree discards don't matter. thanks for info. after powering off psu and give it few minutes to rest all went to normal. no dead chips. is psu broken/ageing or it is antminer issue? psu is corsair cx750 powering only this s3

Story remains the same. The Nightmare Lies, extortion, blackmail and slander by bbxx and curiousminer BBXX and his faux bro are bad players in the bitcoin world. Can't be trusted and proven liars. If anyone needs to confess it is you. What a piece of crap. Lying is second nature to you isn't it. Anyone reading this reference here for the reality of the situation: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=768105.0 Sample: Bbxx made a series of posts claiming false dates regarding curiousminers order. Although these brothers knew the truth of when the order was placed bbxx lied in these posts. This again demonstrates the dishonest nature of these individuals and the danger for anyone dealing with them in the future. Of course I was able to provide proof that curiousminer’s order was made on 5th and sent for processing on the 7/2/2014. bicknellski do me a favor and stop posting in this thread. you are ignoring the fact that within 4 months beastlymac have been ignoring my brother (having his money and miners) beastlymac should answer in time and ship miners or refund. he did not so it is scam. bicknelski you are not mature thinking man. all your recent post ale complete garbage and slander without any information related to this case. your reputation is very small due to your bad posts and failed projects. live with it. my comment at your profile will stay. deal with it.

Beastlymac tell me when you will finally compensate for not answering to my brother order inquiry within 4 months (if you would state at that time that order is ready do ship he would give shipping address, you completelly ignored him) To Bicknellski. Your soul is polluted by evil, please read whole topic again with understanding and thinkover your posts. They are pure bullshit.

|

For anyone who can't be bothered to use their brains, the prices are specifically high because they are SAMPLE chips. Its to discourage one developer buying more than they need which is unfair - Avalon will only have a tiny batch until their actual batches for SALE come in.
Hmm i think they should be free for established proven developers. Such strategy is better for chips adoption.

Hi
I would test each hashing board indyvidually (only hashing cable to controller) one faulty board can give results you have.
Please also use only hashing cable socket closest to ethernet socket. Other ones does not work.
Maybe controller is faulty. I got same results with bad controller. Controller PSU if is weak (amperage) can also not detect boards.
Good luck, man!

Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: if you will build a mining farm, which hardware will you use?

Ok, so If you will build a farm, let's say in a room in your house (assuming all resources available, power, cooling...etc.), which hardware will you pick?
it depends at: 1. power cost 2. mining space cost 3. cooling cost/income 1 low 2 low buy tubes, gardens, used old miners 1 low 2 low 3 income buy tubes 1 low 2 high buy tube boards and sunk them into liquid 1 high 2 low buy s3 1 high 2. high buy sp30 also consider if you have 1 high 2 high better wait for btc dump or buy some crap coins and hope for run

One question... Why did theymos remove beastly from his default trust ? Theymos is not the type of person who is swayed by "lies" or what ever is being said.
It is no wonder you guys don't want an impartial mediator, but it looks like as if the outcome would not be favourable. The fact your impartial mediator is a good buddy just goes to show the ethnic.
how much time have you all wasted. just fix up the customer and move on!!!!!
theymos said that beastlymac trust/behaviour is controversial... i would love to move on if beastlymac would create his confession thread and reopen his sales after resolving all customers issues. most sad thing is that he cant understand that what he did was wrong. just read my signature, it is proven by screenshoots. i can see from his recent acivities after 500 000 $ income he is forced to gather really small amounts of money like 0.01 btc, 0.015 btc by community loans (hint recent trust) maybe he is broke and is not able to pay for his error (ignoring customer within 4 months having his goods/btc) his proven buddy (recently he has transferred rights to represent WASP at forum), bicknellski has joined to defend this and all what he is doing is saying bad things, calling people shit, asshole, fake brother, lier he didnt read topic with understanding, getting both sides posts to consider. this is not like mature people should behave. it is pathetic. especially bicknellski who is repeatedly bashing community members like me, curiousminer, marto74 and others.
