another self moderated money grab?

no, thanks Smiley

We have a 100+ page thread at LitecoinTalk that is un-moderated and contains the entire history of operations: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=3126.0

Feel free to research the company and offering, and decide for yourself if its a money grab or not. Better yet, visit your local Micro Center (if in the US) and ask for our products. See if you think that having a huge retail presence there and elsewhere is worthy of investing in the company.

I did a deep research of your company and offering, i think that there is a small chance still to money grab trurnout.

I hope your company will be one of stars of havelock, paying dividens and have share price going up not down.

Maybe i will invest small part in this.

Your sig is the most interesting part of your post. Your comment wouldn't have anything to do with BaH selling mining equipment and your business/the business you represent selling mining equipment?

I don't think he's officially with MinerSource, because as far as I know, I've talked to a few people from them - very nice people. He may be a devotee of theirs that views the offreing as competition. Or it may be a coincidence. No way to say for certain.

I just have their sig, not for small btc i get from them but becouse i support them, i made few deals with them and i know that they are honest and polite people.

at 350mhz this unit is hashing at 700GH/sec!

power consumption at XFX 850 Core Bronze+ (not modular, cheap one)

only 780W

nice Smiley

Damn, 1.111w/gh not bad.
What's the poolside hashrate like? I'm worried about the error rate of these chips, especially since there's not an easy way to see it.

Also how's the heat output of the unit? Heat sinks still staying reasonable?

I'm also curious to know how he managed such extreme OC. (Maybe ignoring HW errors?)

I tried 330mhz but HW errors brought the hashrate down to ~280ghs. 320mhz seems to be the sweet spot for my machine giving me an additional 5-10gh without additional HW errors. (only tested 310,320,330).

stand fan blowing cold air directly at heatsinks
but chips need more juice, i got 650gh reported from pool side
better to keep at 330 and have 660 gh pool side.

any hints how to change voltage little bit?

thanks.

And so it begins (well...with this BS hardware vendor).

I got railed for calling out this CO. and the people stepping on women and children to line up for these bullshit non existent pieces of hardware and now gee...guess fucking what?  THEY WON'T EVER DELIVER.

This will not end until the mining community stops giving unknown random people on the Internet millions of dollars based on nothing more than an empty promise.

I am expecting apologies for your retardness when I will get my SP30 in a couple of days.

I can't wait for Roadstress to review his unit Friday or Monday since is he so confident he will have his in a couple of days.  By then we will have official updated specs from SP and an in hand unit that Roadstress will hopefully give a full right up about.

sorry to dissapoint you but there will be delays.
due to underperforming/unstable chips/bad pcb
it can take 2 weeks or more to solve that
also airport is closed due to war.

i think august delivery will end up day before september shipping... or 2 weeks later
428  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: July 23, 2014, 08:50:41 PM
preorder is always a bad deal

sp30 will earn much less btc than in hand hardware you can buy now

dont forget about hosting fees due to ridiculous cooling design

unit should be 4u and have 8x120 fans

also that promised specs can be not achieved,

remember terraminer or bfl?

What in hand hardware?

So because 2 companies which started as a scam failed/scammed you think that SP30 won't reach the specs? I know that you haven't really thought about it, but please do an effort to think a bit more.

there are a lot of hardware in hand with specs reached Smiley
i was not scammed by any company, i dont buy preorders,
only hardware in hand, used or new.
429  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: July 23, 2014, 08:42:04 PM
Can you at least stop with the false advertising?

Or has there ever been a time where you offered the best w/gh and $/gh?

Really?

I paid 2 x SP30 for under .7$ / gh/s DELIVERED to Norway... that is better than anything else right now.

It will have 0.34 w/gh per chip... we can test that when it gets plugged in next month.

I don't find anything FALSE here.

Seriously you are bashing these guys given the other shameful companies still hocking wares here in Bitcoinland? Come on Jimmothy you are being more than transparent here Spondoolies Tech is not claiming anything that they can NOT deliver. They are unlike many of the other companies out there cause they do have a VERY professional team. One of the best in this community. You would have to agree to that.

This sort of targeting of Spondoolies seems very out of place given the real problems the community faces. You  have been watching them provide exemplar worthy customer service right? I mean serious they have gone out of their way to make customers happy well outside the basic "contract" for miners. Seriously there are few if any flies on their shit.

you have paid for preorder
you are not hashing
you have frozen your money
you will not mine back your btc
you are hoping that miner will be on time (95% preorders are not)
you are hoping that miner will have advertised specs (most preorders have not)
you are hoping that miner/chips will not be held by customs (avalon case)
you are hoping that difilcuty in september will be low (it wont be)

better go play just-dice...
or buy hardware in stock

bic, sorry, your dice roll ended as usual,

sp30 will not be on time, will be under advertised specs and so on...

good that diffilcuty is not skyrocketing...
but i am hashing and you have frozen assets.

friedcat promised 0.3W/GH and it turned to be 1.1W/GH/Wall

your results missed expectations by big margin or small ?

thanks

you forgot to place btcgarden miner who is now leader about $/GH

stock
520$/630GH/660W
oc
520$/700GH/780W

432  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: July 23, 2014, 05:18:46 PM
Dear Customers,

As you know, Spondoolies-Tech is committed to delivering superior products and the highest levels of customer service and support. That’s why I wanted to communicate with you as early as possible about a concern we've identified with our new ASIC and mining rigs.

The situation is this: After receiving the first batch of RockerBox ASICs, our initial results show a lower hash rate than expected.
Our highest concern is to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. Therefore until we can evaluate the significance of this development, we are temporarily suspending sales of the SP 30 mining rigs.

At this time, our Engineering Team is conducting thorough analysis and testing in order to figure out the precise technical details. We will release the results of our analysis, along with updated product specs, in a couple of days, once we’ll have hard data to share with you.
We believe we understand the reason for the lower hash-rate, but we want to make sure before we release the information.

Spondoolies-Tech stands behind its commitment to our customers. Therefore in the coming weeks we expect to adjust prices accordingly, and announce a compensation plan for those who have already placed orders.

We want to stress that delivery date will not be affected by this issue.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. At the same time, we want to reassure you that all products that we ship will continue to meet the very high standards our customers have come to expect.

Thank you for your patience as we gather further information and formulate a plan of action.

We look forward to continuing and strengthening the relationship we have with our customers. If there is anything else that we can do to minimize your inconvenience in regard to this matter, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please note that in response to this development we are expanding our customer service department — and we apologize in advance for any delays in responding to your queries.

Again, we regret any inconvenience caused as a result, and we thank you for your continued loyalty.

Sincerely,

Guy Corem
CEO
Spondoolies-Tech Ltd.

first cointerra
then bitmain

and now Spondoolies ?

good that you think about compensation

can you tell us about power usage of chips ?

thanks

I placed my first order with BTC Garden 2 days ago.

Is it normal to still see no updates on my account for payment and shipping 2 days later?  Huh Huh Huh

I hope to place another order this week.  Cool

Thanks

Rob

have you paid for your order ?
have you received email about order?

if not contact with customer service, ask about how much you should pay, pay and wait for shipment.

438  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - Best W/GH/s ratio, Best $/GH/s ratio on: July 23, 2014, 10:06:01 AM
strange is no official response there at forum,
no response from ticket system/www form,
customer service is not responding...

after getting millions of dollars from preorders they have stopped any communication.

another case of miners screwed by preorders?

why not to buy from stock?

I clocked to 330mhz by editing /var/www/run.sh

Got to 657gh for 2 boards up from 623. Power draw at the wall went up 40watts to 745.

I want to try 350 but I only has a 750 watt PSU. Perhaps I'll upgrade after all.

i got 660GH using 330.
not bad Smiley
