I doubt it myself. That would induce gaw-faithful riots i think. Edit, then again, maybe this shit is finally collapsing in real time.  I believe Genesis hashlet owners should riot. There was no reason to take those away (if they did that - I don't own any Genesis so I don't know). Nope my genesis gift is still going and pumping out a very consistent 5-6k satoshi a day. I mean this recent ninja-announcement about stopping all mining. You think your Genesis will pay tomorrow? No idea but if it doesn't then I think its safe to say that the hashlet ponzi is in full collapse, and you are correct there's no reason to suspend the genesis and once this starts to spread ppl should riot. Sorry Homero, you don't tell people something is forever and never obsolete and then take it away and make it completely obsolete beyond reasonable doubt.  Is this for existing miners or new clients? Good question I logged into my account to check it out, my genisis gift hashlet payed out its 6k satoshi 5 hours ago and I was able to withdraw 5 dollars in BTC so other than the announcement it seems nothing has changed. Ya know what, stop me if I'm getting out of hand, but here's my scoop after think big pictures. Homero said payouts were partially coming from day trading. Zencloud used to offer a program where if you would just KEEP money in there, you would be paid a % of that in HashPoints. That makes sense now that you think about it right? I used to trade stocks, and the more money you have, even if the market is going against your position, you get more bulletproof as you have more money to take your average price down. This is where things get interesting. Bitcoin goes tits up. Homero, who has been trading Bitcoin to enable payouts, gets absolutely hosed. He has to cancel Hashlet payouts. His mining farm from Bitmain he was buying or renting is absolute garbage now. He liquidates the mining farm. He said on twitter he was selling his "farms" right when the Bitmain Christmas deal went up for 1.9 ph/s and then he deleted his twitter post about it. A company needs money. Selling the farm gave him some breathing room to come up with another plan to save this "business". Insert Paycoin2 scam here. Instead of getting no returns mining 1 satoshi for 24 hours, you can mine this "store credit HashPoints". The only thing HashPoints could be used for is Paycoin2 (code name Hash Coin). Gaw buys some more time, meanwhile probably making back some money he lost in the market by being an idiot. The HashStakers are a great sell to noobs and idiots who think they can buy them and then resell them for more like they did with Hashlets early on. They cost nothing. Uh oh, some looming lawsuits are coming from all the fraud I've been committing lately hyping this paycoin2 shit. Need to liquidate more money to pay for expensive good lawyers who tell me to scrub all the evidence of my stupid mouth off the internet. Meanwhile, GAW has employees that need to be paid. Eric and Joe knew that this was coming down fast and they all knew of the investigation coming. They jump ship. Too bad the captain can't. I'm sure I missed something but that is a pretty good speculation.
All of that is accurate, except for about 95% of it... Shame though, because you were really onto something. I will say the following, to address your statement at the end. One thing I am comfortably saying publicly, is that nobody in the company had all the pieces to the puzzle except the one who envisioned it all. It's as if that was the intention all along, only share the bare minimum with whom and of what was needed to build it. Even those of us in the "upper echelon" were totally in the dark on many of the "finer details". I am prepared to show any authority who asks, it was immediately upon learning those finer details that moved my hand on resigning. The only regret I carry is how long it took me to see the big picture. My leaving had nothing to do with rumors of pending investigations as I had already resigned before that was even a topic. I am not a fool, if there is an investigation underway, my leaving doesn't waive my past involvement. I've got the next step figured out. That escrow will be converted into bars of soap with the paycoin logo stamped on them. A Deal will be cut with the prison to sell the bars to the inmates at a profit of $20 each. All profits will go to paycoin owners on a first drop-first serve basis.

He didn't promise a specific dollar amount of price support for it, but he did lay out some reasons for his prediction. It's pretty clear that he thought the ability to convert to Hashstaker Primes would make them worth $100. I don't think this is fraud like some of the other claims. Yes he made this claim it would be worth $100. or double it's value. Also made the claim that you would be able to sell the miners on the market, yet still cannot sell the Hashstakerprime miners on the market. The claim of the miners being worth around $100 was made also, which lead to people converting them. The was option 1 and option 2. an the expire option was worth $136 but it's not even close to that number. GAW created spread sheets with prices on, an all the prices are fake. Just being wrong isn't fraud. It's probable that he thought his lie about the price support would be more effective than it was. It's probable he thought he'd have the developers available to support Hashstaker sales by now. The fraud is in the amount of money available for price support (as well as possibly merchant support claims). It's not because he thought his business would be doing better than it has. Gross negligence? |

Five minutes and some basic arithmetic tells everything one needs to know about GAW and its miracles, but there is a large number of people who simply refuse to do that and choose to "believe".
