81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CellBlocks - Creating an Economy for Inmates in the Prison System on: March 02, 2018, 06:46:51 PM
The more people involved, the better this project will do. How do you plan to engage the community to support Cellblocks?

The project is relatively new, so it might be a little too early to ask. However, I am interested in knowing more about your partners. Do you have a public list, or can you say who your biggest parner is to date? Or, are there partnerships in the works?
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Xtrade.io - Bringing Mature Financial Technologies to Cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2018, 05:18:51 PM
As much as I know this is a good project, I think the marketing department needs to work on their strategies and ensure more global outreach for the global community and cryptocurrencies ecosystem to become aware of this project. More interactions too probably from core team on this thread would do alot of good as well.

I think you are absolutely correct. Xtrade seems like a pretty good project. The idea of having a nice trading system is pretty cool. Yet, I think you are correct about them needing to work on marketing. Maybe it's not quite obvious because they have made it into some good articles. Also, I don't see much with the community. Hopefully they start working that front soon. Getting the community engaged is really helpful. I know many of us have a lot of questions and interest.

Kerberos seems really unique. I haven't heard of anything like it. Are you aware of any competitors in this space?

I have heard that some ICOs are being labeled as securities which is making them open to more regulation. Is Cellblocks labeled as a security or a utility?

We are labeled a utility token

Thank you. I'm glad to see that Cellblocks is labeled a utility token.

I expect PinkDate to have a lot of success in 2018. They have a really cool project!

Nice logo. And congrats on a positive AMA experience. I'm glad to see it went well. I learned a lot from reading the Q/A. I appreciate you guys taking the time to do that.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: February 26, 2018, 07:31:06 PM
Do research before blindly investing in anything. With that said, I think PinkDate is an interesting investment that could be promising. They have bonuses too.

Not public yet

Is there a Github repo link available? I tried following the link in the original post, but it didn't work. I understand if it's not public just yet.

Completely understandable. I could see releasing that too early could be problematic since you are trying to get prisons involved. I appreciate your response and can't wait to see what Cellblocks has in store for the future Smiley

In reading an article on BIBC, I saw that there are several ways users can make money once the project gets off the ground. There are so may options, but I found the "lending" option very interesting since it's something I haven't seen in a project here before, really. I am very excited to see something like a crypto version of Lending Club. That's a really cool idea and I can't wait to see it in practice. Do you expect that lending will be a very popular feature?
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to choose ico that is not a scam? i newbie many ask on: February 25, 2018, 05:47:20 AM
This is a great question. I've never been on a bad side of an investment, thankfully. I just try to do as much research as possible about a project. I look at the team, the work they have done, the marketing they do, etc. I try to figure out if their project seems feasible and if it solves a practical problem. I like to see development, but I understand that sometimes it is not possible early on. I also like to see what the community has to say about the project. Ultimately, investing is risky business but you can't ever gain anything without risk.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICO on: February 25, 2018, 05:40:22 AM
I think investing in ICOs can be risky, but can also be very rewarding. There are many factors it depends on, but ultimately doing reading on the project is very important. Look for a project that actually seems like people will adopt it. I like ETH and I think it will be going up in 2018. I also think PinkDate is lucrative. They start the ICO in about two weeks. They have good deals for referrals too. I recommend just shopping around for good projects. Ask questions about projects and read whitepapers.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Xtrade.io - Bringing Mature Financial Technologies to Cryptocurrency on: February 25, 2018, 05:34:37 AM
It's $0.10 per token in the original offering.

Alright thanks for this information, do you have an idea what the total maximum supply of XTRD tokens created for this ICO?

Good question as I had the same one when I first learned about this project. From the whitepaper (page 32):

"Instead of generating a sum of XTRD tokens in a pool prior to the TGE, XTRADE will generate tokens only as funds arrive."

This is also another smart way to keep token supply low by being a function of the total funds accumulated in the token sale with the hard cap and soft cap as its upper limit and lower limit.

I didn't think about it like that, but you make a good point. I wonder why I don't see this method quite as often with other project. It seems to make more sense.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TokenSale][Bounty] Crypto Trust Network - Solving Crypto Fraud on: February 25, 2018, 05:32:49 AM
Terrible news. I guess there's no accounting for taste. Everyone is too busy throwing wheel barrows of cash at obvious scams I guess.

My thoughts entirely. Here is a really great project that has an actual problem to solve and that could potentially help the community and they couldn't raise enough. Yet people who are scammers can raise tons.  Undecided I'm upset to see this but I'm excited to see that they aren't done. I wish them luck in future endeavors and plan to continue following this project because it's one of the few that I actually believe in.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚒ Syscoin -$3 Million 1st round financing; World 1st Decentralized Marketplace! on: February 25, 2018, 05:28:16 AM

Perfect, thanks! That is exactly what I wanted to know. It is good to see the openness of the audit and that the findings were low-risk. I'm also happy to see that the team was concerned with quickly taking action and getting everything improved. It is clear the team cares about the project and its security.

Nice job on the success of the presale and I am also glad to see the crowdsale is also going well. I read that there is a bounty, is this true? What are the details?

Yes of course.
Here's the Bounty page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2709575

Awesome, thanks for the details. I have no idea how I missed it.  Huh Smiley
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest now or wait? on: February 24, 2018, 08:17:33 PM
I think now is a good time to invest. If you're interested in projects to invest in, I recommend Pinkdate. They have a good referral program, nice team, and a unique project. The ICO starts in a few weeks.

Have you guys had any security audits? If so, by who?
