I wonder what kind of patents Datum has filed?

What made you decide to take the blockchain route? The potential for anonymity?
Any thoughts on this? Yes. We could have raised money from people we know. But that would increase our operational risk. With blockchain currencies we are able to maintain a tight ship. It's a good tool, especially in this industry.

Can I find a code for your platform on Github? Can you provide a link for it?

Yes, we're looking into optimizing this so that transactions don't take any longer than a typical file-download.
As long as the users aren't on fiber internet, that shouldn't be too difficult. What would happen if the transactions did take longer than the download? Is there potential for fraud? Anyone have any idea on this?

We really should stop disparaging users of such services, or the people that would sell their services through the app. They've used technology before, they can handle learning a new tech process if it's for their good.
A lot of clients or non-clients simply have no clue what they are talking about. Many providers are absolutely top-notch professionals. Sex work is work and is a lot more than just sex. People, especially guys, think hey, have sex, get paid, easy! In reality it's running your own brand, marketing, screening customers, maintaining secrecy. Dumb providers do not do well. Providers as a group will have a far easier time installing an APK than the general population. It's not a hard task at all. Last time I installed an .APK it was like 2 clicks. Anyone who runs Android should have no problem with it.

Will you be doing anything to prevent traders from buying these tokens only to dump them at the first exchange? The reputation of a lot of ICOs seems to suffer because of this.
How would you propose they do that? You mean you want them to announce new restrictions that they didn't disclose at the time we made our purchases? You mean you want to restrict people further on what they can do with their own property? I know this may be a revolutionary concept for some but, regulation isn't always evil! Surely you can see why, being in an environment like we are, so many of us are so against it. Too many people in power tend to benefit from doing things their way rather than what's good for most. So the easiest way to prevent conflict of interest with those of authority is to have as little regulation as possible.

So does it recruit the blockchain's data decompression/compression processes in order to exchange and distribute data resiliently and quickly?
I'm just going to assume it does. Yes, we're looking into optimizing this so that transactions don't take any longer than a typical file-download. As long as the users aren't on fiber internet, that shouldn't be too difficult.

This is hilarious How many escorts know how to tie their shoes much less download, install and secure a wallet? Or you want the pimps to do it for them Lawl! Or are we supposed to be the pimps since we invested in the system? I can see it now... Some big dude busting in the door because his computer gets a fatal exception error every time he tries to open the wallet, demanding his hard-earned money. Clearly you have zero idea of any work that's involved in being an escort. Your ignorance is overwhelming. I wouldn't worry too much about what the trolls/kids think.

I'm feel ashamed. How did I not even know this. Patents make a lot more sense now.

On the bittorrent matter - the seeding process should be incentivized. Finding seeders on platforms like bittorrent or SoulSeekQT is pretty difficult if the torrent is not massively popular, because people don't have any reason to seed files if they get nothing in return. Upfiring is changing that. We expect that this will draw users to seed files on our platform over platforms, resulting in more file availability, more peers and faster download speeds.
Anyone who has used torrents could agree to this.
