1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETC / ETH dead on: August 27, 2016, 07:28:26 PM
Because of price ETC going down doesn't mean it is dead, in my opinion it is just fluctuating and it is normal. Today is time for buy ETC hold until price going up again. But that is my way of trading ETC.

That is logical way of thinking, ETC also has a lot of support with the community and the market to handle the sells.

But Logic does not fit the agenda of fudsters

ETC is fine, right now there is more sellers than buyers and the reversal will occur after DTHs get their ETC which might not be that big of a drop if any for the ETC price when it occurs given that most DTHs are disgruntled with ETH and Dao after being played for suckers. The real sell offs have likely already occurred as an anticipation for this. We'll just have to wait and see when the WHGs finally release the hostage they tried to smuggle through the borders of Polo.

Exaggerations on markets goes both ways and ETC will go through the same cycles as other markets. Every new case tends to be slightly different but in a nut shell rather similar.

The real sell off has not started yet for the ETC. The hacker has 3% of the total ETC to sell.
The Etheruem Foundation also has a lot to sell.

That hacker can manipulate the ETC price without selling the ETC by himself. He can raise the price by saying he is not going to sell.

Anything may happen in crypto. Some TH fanboys are dreaming of high price due to some upcoming project in ETH. ETC fanboys are ignoring ETH as ETH is nothing but a fork. many men Many mind. So, i think we should research first and should not invest the money beyond our limit, the lose we can not tolerate.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: August 27, 2016, 07:21:46 PM
I actually mine with 7950 AMD gpu and I really do not care about the price/hash coz I will only sell when I get enough profit. Price of ETH goes up and down. I do not stop mining and sell my coin at a good price and make some profit. hat is it

I liked CBX and also enjoyed the sig campaign period. Will there any sig campaign in future ? BTW I have noticed tremendous efforts in the wallet development. nice work everyone. I support CBX. Hope CBX will be traded in various exchanges. Long live CBX

each time mainly in polo, when ever buy wall gets strong, a large dump occurs. Am i wrong ? It is a bad sign
1405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETC / ETH dead on: August 25, 2016, 11:22:06 AM
There is a vote about the top altcoins.

The Ethereum has about 14% of the votes. The number 2 is Monero has 7%. It is quite usual to see so many ETH supporter

i don't really understand who in his right mind would choose ethereum as a good altcoin when there are many better coins.
of course this is unless they are getting paid to choose ethereum as their vote!

ETH /ETC has most amazing volume and supports. Those 2 important factors can change the scenerio.
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] OPAIR | ICO Ends in 48 hours | New Blockchain Platform on: August 25, 2016, 09:35:06 AM
how can I mine this coin ? Or is it mineable ?
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELE] Elementrem - Ethereum fork smart contract BlockChain on: August 25, 2016, 08:15:36 AM
There are 2 huge problems with this coin :

Total 51 million coins where 50 million is premined.
So it leaves only 1 million to mine, and 50 million to the developer.
Those coins need to be burned if he wants his coin to succeed.

Second thing, the developer is totally anonymous. Nobody likes that Smiley

in crypto history, A coin with huge premine has ugly adaptation. No one trust this coin. As 50 mil are premined, the dev can dump at any time if he keeps his/her coins
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: August 25, 2016, 08:13:23 AM
I think it depends if what GPU are you using if you have only low specs of GPU you can only earn cents per day.. now many people are mining ethereum so the rewards is decreasing and many people are buying more effective and high performance GPU and increase the GPU in there mining rig..
So if you have more GPU mining its still profitable..

That is right. If you have the old GPU like the 7970, the efficiency is low, it will become less profitable soon.

If it is RX480, it is more profitable.

if you want to buy new GPU, it will cost even more dollars. Reinvest for ETH mining is not that much worthy. At least old gpu will mine something without any investment.
1409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETC / ETH dead on: August 25, 2016, 08:11:30 AM
ETH vs. ETC - What matters is the future
"Vitalik Buterin confirmed via Twitter that he will work 100% on ETH and still won't support ETC, even if the price of ETC overtakes the price of ETH"

I saw that a few weeks ago.

There are many other developers have declared that they will support the ETH 100%.

But ETC = Old ETH chain and ETH = fork of the chain. Then ETH should dry up soon, correct me if I am wrong
1410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: August 25, 2016, 08:10:24 AM
When will dao hacker recieve his ETC millions?

if the dao hacker dumps his coins now, he will get least profit as price is too low. He can dump it in future where ETC will be traded as large volume and with good price, no ?
1411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: August 25, 2016, 08:09:15 AM
@roselee. It is still a very tough situation to be in. We as holders and supporters are against all odds that ETC will survive in the 1st year. The price is falling and there is a threat of the attacker dumping his coins. That will have an effect on the investors' confidence and it will make them avoid buying ETC. Also the falling hash power is another reason to be worried.

I agree with you. ETC is showing every bad signs. If price goes down to hell, no one will further invest into this coin. miners will leave. Suddenly ETC will turn into a orphan project. Community and ETC supporters should take necessary steps to overcome this crisis.

so we are finished with death of ETC ? No one is doing anything to save the price. If it touches 0.0015 and if there is a pump to even 100%, even then a lot of us will suffer. Some one told us that ETC is a scam. Is it true ?

Hello there!
Excuse me if messed up.
I'm trying to mine Ethereum and Ethereum Classic with my PC.
My GPU is a GTX 780 Ti AMP! and I get 3-4 MH/s?!?!
I use Windows 10 64-Bit and the 347.52 driver.
Other people are getting anything between 15-20 MH/s.
Whats wrong?
Please help.
I even tried Genoil's miner and got even worse performance.

Best regards-
Its because you're trying to mine to nicehash. Use a real pool and earn much more.

can any one tell me which pool and miner works best for ETH ? please

The Etherpool.org is the best for me. I like the solo mining mode. But you have to have at least 1GH/s to benefit. I use the Claymore miner.

So do you solo mine or mine in pools? BTW thanks a lot for your answer.
1417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: August 24, 2016, 05:09:16 PM
I was with WARP from the very beginning. I bought some ICO and sold them with a profit. I keep almost 20000 warp in my exchange wallet and DEV disappeared. This irresponsible act has murdered this nice project, I think

It can be revived, just it needs some work and trust needs to come back in this project

but i think there were a fake pump without any possible improvement and development in warp. And DEV actually is hiding truth from us. Thereby it seems WARP is nothing but a pump and dump coin and will not survive for long time

Waiting for your return  Smiley

do not wait this coin
I think this coin is already dead. no one interested to trade of valorbit.
if community takeover will take place might have some possible resurrection but as of this moment no interest was showing.

everyone have millions of valor. Who will want to invest on this crap ?
