But Bitcoin is too expensive, so cheaper Dogecoin welcome. I don't get it, it's divisible to 6 decimal places. Maybe some don't really understand that concept yet? Or they like the feeling of having non-fraction coins? Duhhhh. Obviously having 100 pennies is way cooler than having a 1 dollar bill bcoz u can be like OMGZ dudes looks how many things I got.

About updating doge wallet qt, whats the best way of doing this. Just download the new version and start the app from there and delete the old app folder?
Don't forget such importance as removing much dog poop and storing in safe place from previous wallet directory folder.

I need help in making this idea viral on Reddit or on any other forum. I'm not a Reddit person, but will try to get into it these next few days.
Here's the idea. Let's get Reddit users and anyone else who will be in Times Square for New Year's Eve or at any other large publicly viewed (TV) venue for New Year's Eve to hold up sign's with the Dogecoin logo and their Dogecoin address asking to have Doges sent to them.
I know that if I saw someone's address on TV while watching the festivities in Times Square, I'd send them Doges.
Think about this folks, this would be a HUGE (and free) advertisement for Dogecoin throughout the world.
Wow wow much much dogey originality (am I doing this right?)

Many debit cards were compromised due to a big security breach at Target Stores. Chase is limiting debit card transactions for cards known to have been used at a Target store. This will only last until Chase can get new cards out to their customers, or the customer goes to a bank branch to get a temporary card or withdraw money. Customers can still write paper checks, too. lots of ppl talking about it at work and dont know about bitcoin Bitcoin has far worse problems. The worst problem for Bitcoin is its negative price. Isn't that right Nagle

China is out........of credit. Yuan credit is sunkChina Rates Surge Despite Central Bank Measures By NEIL GOUGH Published: December 23, 2013
HONG KONG — A bid by China’s central bank to curb soaring interest rates and relieve pressure on the financial system appeared to have come up short on Monday, as Chinese money market rates shrugged off the measure and continued to approach the highs seen in June.
The central bank, the People’s Bank of China, said late Friday that it had provided more than 300 billion renminbi, or about $50 billion, in short-term funds to selected banks over a three-day period that week.
Rates continued to surge on Monday, however, in China’s money markets — a key source of short-term funding for commercial banks and also for financial institutions engaged in risky, off-balance-sheet shadow lending.
One key rate, the seven-day repurchase rate, rose as high as 10 percent on Monday. That was double the rate of a week earlier and the highest level since June, when the People’s Bank of China allowed rates to surge in an effort to curb speculative investment in the country’s sprawling shadow banking sector.
China’s banks are scrambling for short-term cash to meet month-, quarter- and year-end regulatory requirements. At the same time, demand for cash is high among Chinese companies seeking to meet year-end payments.
These and other factors have combined to push the costs of short-term borrowing in China up drastically, a situation that if left unchecked, could leave some banks struggling to meet their obligations and could have implications for the broader economy. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/24/business/international/china-rates-approach-crisis-levels-despite-central-bank-measures.html?partner=rss&emc=rss&_r=1&

What do people in China think about the health of the economy?
How do you buy precious metals in China?
Thanks

Will the majority of the sellers buy back in after it's clear the bottom has been hit? That's the real question here.
Yeah, what else are they going to do? Put it a bank and watch it earn 0.5% APR or worse take a -50% haircut when their bank goes bust.

What are the chances South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, HK etc start pumping Bitcoin to piss off Beijing. They could offer Chinese importers/exporters special deals if they use Bitcoin. Flooding China with bitcoins will be like flooding them with Opium

From the article: "It now stands at a crossroad: will it be a currency or commodity?" This is going to be the question of the century. Good luck finding the answer.
Also , this: "The task now is to ensure that if cryptocurrencies creep into our lives, they make them better; that they encourage innovation, business freedom, consumer choice, without undermining the key functions of the state"
All the western nation states are bankrupt. They've done a good job at undermining their key functions all by themselves.
